Bright Horizons Tingley Day Nursery and Preschool is a great setting where children can learn, discover and explore.

Tingley Day Nursery and Preschool has five nursery rooms, each offering activities to stimulate and develop each and every child.

The nursery works alongside the EYFS in delivering play opportunities to the children that support development. Experienced carers look to keep parents up-to-date and welcome feedback and discussion, while regular training for staff is conducted at a bespoke training centre to keep up to date with the skills and knowledge in the nursery sector.

The nursery has a large garden area that allows for activities such as planting, growing and digging as well as a climbing frame. There is a key person assigned to each group of children allowing a smooth transition through the rooms.

There are many languages spoken throughout the nursery such as German, Polish, Bangla, French, Shona, Croatian and Mandarin.

Tingley Day Nursery and Preschool are an all-inclusive nursery which means their fees include all meals, snacks, drinks, nappies, wipes and creams for children.

My little boy loves coming to nursery. He can be a little unsettled in the mornings when I leave him, so it's very reassuring for me that he's built fantastic relationships with the staff in Nursery room & that he settles almost instantly each day.


The staff are so friendly & welcoming & my child

has so much fun playing with them & joining in with the constant stream of activities happening throughout the day. He particularly loves to join in with the stories that one of the nursery room staff members tells/makes up. He talks fondly of his day, his friends & the staff on a daily basis.
I get a full report of how he's been throughout the day, if there are any concerns I should be aware of & how we can address these together. I can talk to the staff about any issues I may have, good or bad, for example; if my child is upset about something, or if he is particularly happy about something he has done at Nursery. I know the Nursery room staff will listen & support myself & my child.

The nursery is very professional, management and staff. The nursery itself is up to data and welcoming, my child settled in brilliant, and the staff in the toddler two were amazing with him. A positive bond is easy to see at pick up and drop off time. During pick up information that will be needed for
during the night time and following week.
