Bright Horizons Tingley Day Nursery and Preschool

My child is making excellent progress due to the quality of teaching and care.

My son started at West Lea in the baby room when he was 9 months old and had no problems settling, as the nursery was able to offer us an extensive, tailor-made transition, where he was able to visit the nursery for several weeks prior to starting, at no extra cost. He is always busy doing different activities and has learnt so much. He loves to play outside, which the nursery can offer well, as their gardens are joined straight on to the rooms. The staff team are always really helpful and friendly and there is always a member of the management team available to speak to in the office. This is our second child at West Lea Park and I would highly recommend the nursery.

My son has attended the nursery since November 2017, where he first started in the baby room. He is now in the toddler room and has enjoyed every minute! He has always had good relationships with his key workers and he gets excited when I mention their names at home. The staff have always taken the time to get to know his likes/dislikes and are always there to comfort him when he needs it. It's lovely to see him playing with other children and making friends. He has so many different opportunities at nursery that he wouldn't get at home and his development has come on so much. The most important thing to me is that my child is safe and happy and with West Lea Park I am confident of this every day.

My son attended this nursery and his confidence has grown so much whilst he was in their care. He then left to go to school so of course, I have now sent my daughter there, my daughter is now settled very well there and she's very happy when there and all brilliant feedback from staff. Highly recommend.

All the staff are all warm, caring and friendly. The nursery manager is an absolute star, very approachable and nothing is too much trouble. This nursery is quite simply, in my opinion, outstanding and I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend it to anyone.

My son has been attending West Lea Park for nearly a year and has loved every minute of it. He has been well looked after by the friendly, caring and attentive staff. He has come on a lot whilst being there which is testament to the staff's commitment to the development of children in their care. I would not hesitate to recommend West Lea to any prospective parents. I have no doubts that my son will continue to blossom and be ready for school for when the time comes for him to leave.

I have always been pleased with the nursery, from settling my daughter into the baby room right through to now settling in her into the preschool room, she is very comfortable in the environment and with all the staff.

Excellent childcare whilst my son didn't settle too well it is nice to know he is well cared for when I leave him during the week. I also feel his key worker is very driven and detailed in her care plan for him.

We have been very happy with the care provided for our daughter and we would recommend this nursery to friends. Our daughter clearly has a good time and is happy, and she has definitely developed well while here. She thrives at nursery and has developed in both ability and confidence since being here and loves her time here. The nursery takes exceptional care of our daughter and we are grateful for all the opportunities that she is offered whilst in the care of Asquith nursery. The key worker system works well and in particular, the key worker is an excellent point of contact for our daughter and us as parents. The communication we receive is excellent and timely.

Daughter has attended nursery for 2 years and loves it. Had no issues with any aspect of the nursery. Regular open days to show the facilities and overall brilliant care provided. Really great facilities.

Absolutely fantastic, friendly and very professional nursery. Any questions I have ever had to ask have always been answered promptly and correctly. I cannot thank the staff enough for helping with my child's development. I would and have recommended the nursery every chance I can get.

All the staff are really friendly! My child can be a bit of a challenge but the staff always try really hard to settle her in! She has developed in all areas thanks to the staff. The nursery is clean and tidy.

We love this nursery and all the staff. Since there has been a new manager, there has been even more to like. The staff are always very cheerful and welcoming yet professional. Even on those days our daughter is a little upset if she has had a bad night or maybe feeling under the weather, the girls notice straight away and do everything they can to settle her, extra cuddles, being silly, trying to make her laugh. They are very accommodating. Our daughter has progressed so much recently and is very happy at the nursery. We have no hesitation in recommending this nursery and the wonderful ladies who worked there - not forgetting the chef who creates the fabulous meals!!

The nursery staff make you feel very welcome and ensure you are happy with your child's care. They ensure the needs of my child are met, both physically and emotionally. Excellent nursery and would highly recommend.

My son has attended since he was 8 months old and now approaching 3 years old. At each stage of baby, toddler, preschool I have been impressed with staff and the facilities within each room. Security is brilliant with passwords/photographs for people collecting and the buzzer on the door. Also there is a no mobile phones policy which I agree with. The staff are very efficient and always available to speak with you and have regular parents evenings. My son suffered a fit (at home) the staff were great at putting him on a care plan and contacting me if he is unsettled or unwell. I can't thank them enough for the care they have given.

Love this nursery and so does my son who is in toddler one now. The staff are amazing and have really developed him since starting. I am always happy leaving him and he is happy staying! Big thanks to all the staff. I would definitely recommend this nursery.

The nursery has a good understanding of my little boy, he loves being outside, natures, animals and he has plenty of opportunity to have these experiences, for example his room has african snails and he is encouraged to care for them, feed them, clean and talk to the which he loves. I have seen my son blossom in confidence, language, social skills and communication. I have every confidence in West Lea Nursery.

I am very impressed with the level of care and support the nursery staff give to my son. I have noticed a positive developmental change in him and cannot thank you guys enough. Its always amazing to know that I leave my son in safe and loving hands. You guys are amazing and I cannot commend your nursery any more. My son loves it and I cant imagine putting him anywhere else.
