Bright Horizons Tingley Day Nursery and Preschool

My 6-month-old, has been attending since January 2022. He has settled in so well and quickly to the baby room, due to the warming, friendly staff and I felt completely at ease, knowing he is in great hands. As an ex early years foundation stage teacher, I was very cautious of the environment and activities to aid development. After seeing the provision, this again put me completely at ease and is clear to see that child development is at the forefront of Bright Horizons curriculum. The food is all made fresh on-site and the nursery worked hand in hand to ensure my son's weaning journey was consistent at home and nursery. The communication from all staff is fantastic, by email, face to face and through the family app. A very happy mum and baby!

My son started here when he was 2 years old, previously moving from another nursery. I didn’t know how he would settle. On the first day, he walked in with no tears and came out all happy and smiling and to this day, he still loves the nursery! All the staff are friendly and helpful and will always put your mind at ease and help you with any enquiries you may have! I would recommend this nursery, to family and friends.

Fantastic nursery. The staff are all so friendly and kind. I was dreading coming off of maternity and leaving my little one, but she’s loved it since the first settling in session. They do lovely activities, the meals seem really nice and the app is brilliant and means I can check in during the day when I’m at work. It’s a great feeling to be able to confidently leave my child and know she will be having fun and being well-fed and cared for.

My child has been at this nursery for over one year. The staff are amazing and the activities are so creative! Such a friendly bunch of staff and my child’s key workers have been fantastic! Plenty of outside space too for playing and lots of fresh air.

What a fantastic group of people who are in tune with the kids, we loved it since we first visited back in 2017. Our eldest graduated this year and our second is still there enjoying every day, and we can't wait for our youngest to start next year. They understand what all the kids need and support and teach them so well.

Having previously come from a childcare background myself, I knew what I was looking for in a nursery for my little one. From the moment I stepped foot in the door, I was met with a friendly and positive attitude from all the staff. The atmosphere was extremely positive and all the children were having lots of fun. I loved all the early learning furniture and all the activities that were set up for the children. Since my little one has been going to Tingley Nursery she has grown in confidence so much. Her language has really come. The fact that my little girl gets up and is so excited when it's nursery day speaks volumes. She absolutely loves all the staff and has made some fantastic friendships with her peers. I know I made the right decision when picking this nursery and I would highly recommend it to anyone looking for a childcare provider.

My son loves going to Bright Horizons Tingley, he has learned much in the short time he has been there. He has grown in confidence there and always has fun learning. He loves all the staff who are very supportive of his learning journey.

My little girl loves nursery and she is exposed to a wide variety of foods, skill and activities. She is always happy and excited on her nursery day. Staff are amazing and so supportive. I would personally highly recommend Bright Horizons nursery to my family and friends.

This nursery and the people who work there are exceptional. My son loves coming to nursery and I am convinced that he would not be as far along as he is without it. The staff are friendly and professional. They really understand the needs of the children and help them with their development. If there is a problem it is always sorted out very quickly. All in all, I am really happy we chose this nursery for our son.

Having had my baby son born in lockdown, I felt very uneasy about leaving him at nursery. However, the team at this nursery are amazing, they completely put my mind at ease. My little boy is 6 months old and has already come on leaps and bounds. He has an amazing bond with his keyworker, his face lights up when he is dropped off at the door. I get regular updates of what he has been doing at nursery. As my son has just started weaning, I have regular chats with the keyworker about his progress. I would definitely recommend this nursery to anyone.

We absolutely love this nursery! They are fantastic at communication and always put the kids first. They are very accomodating with changes to number of days when we were working out new jobs. The staff demonstrate through their behaviour that they enjoy their roles and build strong relationships with the kids.

My son joined at the beginning of January he has never been in the been in the nursery environment before which I explained to the staff and they have been fantastic helping him settle in. He loves the food they are given and generally eats it all, they are good varied healthy meals. Overall I am happy with the nursery and all the staff are friendly and helpful.

We are expecting our second child anytime now and although we have moved out of the area, we are more than happy to keep them both at West Lea Park.

Our child has been coming to this nursery for almost 2 years and we couldn’t be happier. He is learning so much every day in a fun and friendly environment. His development is brilliant and he is coming on leaps and bounds. The staff genuinely care about the children and my son has been happy with every member of staff he has formed a relationship with. The staff are very informative, always happy to chat and provide regular updates on my son's performance. We are happy with how he is taught different things and his days at nursery really make an impact on him as he often talks about what he has done and who he has been with. He regularly surprises us with things he knows already which he has picked up from nursery, such as basic maths and knowing his left and right. I believe the nursery will have formed a great foundation for my child in readiness for school.

I found the settling in sessions offered to me and my child really helpful as all the girls were really accommodating and put me at ease.

I would deffo recommend this nursery.

A wonderful environment for my son to grow and learn. Staff are very polite and welcoming. My son has settled in a lot quicker than I expected, also I have seen a big improvement in my sons communication skills since he's been going to the nursery. Staff are very well trained and the management of the nursery is excellent. Would definitely recommend this day nursery.

Good nursery - highly recommend. Friendly staff who are very encouraging with the kids and always ready to give feedback and ideas on how to support the kids at home. They involve parents in family days and with events.
