Bright Horizons Tingley Day Nursery and Preschool

Our daughter loves Bright Horizons, the key workers in her class are amazing and caring. She skips into nursery and loves her time there and the friends she's made.

My little boy joined the nursery at around 8 months, he is now 2 1/2 years. This nursery have supported us with each and every milestone. They embrace each individual child's journey and ensure the children are successful and feel positive about each of their achievements. I know my little boy is in the best care.

The staff are outstanding. I love them all. I feel so happy and safe leaving my baby with them. They cater for every child as an individual and my daughter loves going. They know every child by name (even if they don't work with that child) and know their personalities and quirks and embrace them. The themed activities are creative and support development, learning and are fun! The meals are homemade, healthy and nutritious and tasty, I'm presuming as my daughter always eats it all. The managers are hands-on and involved and so friendly and helpful. Whether it's a bit of advice or support or information needed, everyone is kind and no task is too much. They are great at keeping in touch and I adore my daughter's key worker. They also go the extra mile and try their best to accommodate requests or support home learning too. I feel like we are a little team! Highly recommend this nursery. For me, it's the quality of care that is the most important thing and the staff fully achieve this.

My daughter's communication and social skills have increased massively since starting in September 2021. We started potty training and Christmas and nursery have been brilliant in helping promote this too, even offering her stickers, when using the big girl toilet. Brilliant nursery.

I don't even know where to start. Bright Horizons in Tingley cannot do enough for you. Nothing is too much for the staff here. They keep you informed via the app of your child's day, the food my little one has each day he attends nursery sounds so lovely. The staff have helped my little one come on so much. He was a very shy baby, but they've brought him out of his shell and I can notice such a huge difference in him. I can see how much he is developing each day thanks to the wonderful staff. They have so much time for the children and parents too. Many times I have ended up staying a while whilst I gain advice from staff, which they are more than happy to provide. My little one has been ill a lot recently and the nursery honestly could not do enough for him and for me as a parent. I would recommend this nursery to anyone in a heartbeat.

We started at this nursery in May and my son has settled right in. All the staff, from the office to all the different rooms know my little boy and interact with him. His key worker clearly knows him well and, alongside the apps information, I get a good daily handover/feedback when I pick him up. He has always been stimulated and has had access to a variety of activities each day and he naps well so is clearly comfortable there. I feel supported by the nursery and they’ve always been as accommodating as possible if I’ve needed extra days or to change our regular schedule. I can’t recommend them enough.

A really lovely nursery which feels like a big family. Our little one settled in really well. The staff update an app for parents every day, with useful info and photos. There is plenty of indoor and outdoor space for the kids and the parking outside is really easy too.

I am happy overall with everything about Bright Horizons it is definitely a place I have and will continue to recommend.

Excellent nursery. The staff are wonderful. All three of my boys have attended this nursery and I can't fault it. Excellent learning, nice indoor and outdoor areas. Plenty for children to do. A lot of effort goes into arranging fun activities for the children.

Fantastic nursery with welcoming and helpful staff, who engage directly with your children and their specific needs. I would highly recommend Bright Horizons, Tingley Day Nursery and Preschool, to anyone looking for childcare.

We couldn’t be happier with Bright Horizons, Tingley. Our older daughter, still wishes she could still attend. The staff are caring and creative and offer a very nurturing environment. Knowing that many of the staff have been there for a long time is a real reassurance for us. Our youngest has just moved into preschool and is flourishing. Each room transition is managed carefully to ensure the children feel comfortable. We love the updates and photos on the app each day, seeing both the great activities that have been done and the wholesome food they have eaten (which they both prefer, to what I cook).

I cannot express how much I love this nursery and the staff. They are so engaged and take a real interest and responsibility with my daughter. I can guarantee if my daughter is not feeling well or something is a bit off, they will contact me for a chat. It just goes to show how well they know her. No task is ever too much and all queries are answered quickly. They also have such engaging and educational activities every day. They are truly amazing!

During his time so far, he has really developed. He really enjoys being there and he learns so much. His speech is really coming on and he always comes home with pieces of work he has done. I don't have the space on the walls for it all. I love the fact that they have an app, so I can check in regularly on what he has eaten and naps. They also post photos which I love to see.

Friendly nursery, very attentive staff, who really get to know your child. Activities look really fun and seem to change every day and have good thought behind them. Nutritious food. My toddler has been here for 18 months and runs in every morning, delighted to be going to nursery!

Highly recommend this nursery. My child has progressed so much since first joining over twelve months ago. The staff are always helpful. They inform you of what your child has done that day and of any problems, if there are any. I find the app especially helpful, it is always kept up to date throughout the day. It is obvious that the staff all work hard for the children.

Excellent nursery that fulfils all my son's needs. The staff are great with communication and are very professional at all times. My son loves going here, twice a week and his development has grown so much since attending here. Very happy mum.

One of the best signs for me that my child enjoys going to this nursery, is how he is on arrival. Mine runs in as fast as he can. The staff are all caring and supportive and plan lots of activities and fun learning opportunities. The staff recognised that my child needs more support in areas and have offered advice and support to help my child. This is my second child to go to this nursery and I would definitely recommend it to other parents.

The staff here make you feel so at ease, they really listen to you and take into consideration how you parent at home. The manager and three other staff members, in particular, are absolute superstars and they have made our nursery experience brilliant from when my little boy went, three and a half years ago to my little girl going now. They are the reasons I had no doubt where I was going to take her! Friendly staff, brilliant service and overall, great nursery.
