Partou Woodlands House Day Nursery & Pre-school

We love Woodlands. They’ve helped us so much and our child has come on leaps and bounds since attending. The staff are so helpful and caring and genuinely want the best for the kids, great facilities and a lovely location. Really happy with our choice. Brilliant value for money and there’s always something happening.

Me and my wife find the overall experience our son has at Woodlands to be excellent. We have only used Woodlands but if there is a better nursery in the local area I'd be amazed. The staff are caring, understanding and simply great at what they do. My son is never upset to be going to the nursery and he takes great pleasure in telling us what he has been doing. I would like to put in writing just how much we appreciate the work your staff do at Woodlands and how much they care for and educate my little boy.

What I also find to be a real strength is how staff from the different rooms still have a real bond and relationship with my son which I'm sure goes a long way to making him feel safe and enjoying his time at nursery.

Both my boys absolutely love Woodlands House. The staff are amazing and have great bonds with both of them. Both of them have come on leaps and bounds. Everyone is so kind and welcoming. I get excited to pick them up to find out what new activity they have done and love seeing the photos and watching their progress on the secure app. They have learnt so much. I couldn’t recommend this nursery enough.

I couldn’t recommend this nursery enough! My little boy absolutely loves it here. The staff are nothing but kind, welcoming and just amazing people. The care they show to the children in all aspects is brilliant, my son comes home always smiling and has come on so much since going to the nursery. Lovely nursery overall.

Absolutely outstanding nursery. The staff are so polite and caring. My son really really loves going Tuesdays and Thursdays. Always there to help and give advice if needed. Really take time and care in their work. My son has really come on in his talking since starting here. Really recommend it to anyone who wants their children in such a loving, caring setting.

Fantastic nursery my son has developed so much since he started in the baby room, now in the toddler room. The staff are very friendly, caring and knowledgeable. He really looks forward to going, I'd highly recommend.

My grandson has been attending the nursery for the last 9 months and he has loved it, settled and developed very well. He loves the staff. The staff are very welcoming and friendly and nothing is too much trouble for them. It's like a little family. They do lots of varied activities and it gives the children a chance to explore things and get involved. Builds their confidence. The nursery are very flexible and accommodating as one of my grandson's parent is a public service worker and works shifts so my grandson's sessions vary week by week. I would highly recommend you consider this nursery.

Fantastic staff. My granddaughter had come on leaps and bounds. Talks about her teachers. Has written her own name. Come out of her shell. Staff give really good handovers. Let me know how she is progressing.

My daughter has loved being here since September. Even though she’s shy she loves going and always tells me who she likes. The staff always update me on anything that’s happened at the end of the day. She has progressed a lot with her speech since starting and is now starting to learn to write her name.

Woodlands House has always been great with my two boys. All the staff are amazing and my sons have always enjoyed spending time at nursery! Thank you to all the team for what you do! You should all be proud of yourselves!

Each day we receive a detailed handover and we are always happy to hear about the great themed days and lovely activities that the staff have planned!

My daughter has come on really well at this nursery in terms of development and she trusts 1 member of staff very well as she is quite shy at nursery. The nursery is very friendly and are very good at doing handovers and explaining what my child has been up to during the day. All staff at the nursery are very polite and friendly always willing to help if needed with support for my child. Would thoroughly recommend to any parents.

My daughter thrives in the nursery setting, the staff are brilliant with the kids they always have been. She has developed so much confidence and become more independent since attending. My little boy attended prior to my daughter and he also loved every minute. The kids are always being challenged with new learning opportunities and always having fun. Couldn’t have picked a better early years setting.

Nursery do such a wide variety of activities with the children, the fact they ask what the children like and theme activities around this is great, the children are really given the options to be creative and explore. In my experience the staff let the children lead and I really like this approach. The food menu and variety is great. Nursery do so many themed days and really allow the children to be themselves and support them. No matter the weather the children always get to go outside and play. I feel comfortable leaving my little one and know that she is settled and well looked after. I am provided with regular updates, including pictures and videos on the learning book app which is great, along with parents' evenings and a daily update when my little one attends.

Fantastic nursery! The team are excellent and has a great connection with the children. My child has developed so much more since starting and loves going to see both staff and friends he has made. I would highly recommend them.

We have had a very positive experience with Woodlands House nursery. The care our little boy receives is excellent, the staff are lovely and prioritise the learning of the children. They are always doing fun activities which really helps with the development of the children and there are great events on throughout the year which families can get involved with.

Amazing nursery. My little boy loves attending nursery and has come on leaps and bounds since he started. All the workers are friendly, welcoming and caring and it's like being part of a huge family. It feels like you are walking into a huge hug when you arrive and feel the same when you leave.

Excellent nursery my daughter loves going and always has so much to tell me about her day. Will be sad when she has to leave for school but will definitely be choosing this nursery for my younger daughter! The staff go above and beyond, and I would definitely recommend!

Excellent nursery with amazing staff! My little boy has been going to Woodlands House day nursery for almost a year now and he looks forward to going each day, he even asks to go on non-nursery days. The activities provided are very varied and enjoyable and I love being able to see his photos in his learning book. He is very well looked after and loves each member of staff. Definitely the best nursery around!

She talks about the other children and staff all day long and to me, that speaks volumes! I always feel assured that she is in the safest hands, and communication between the team and parents is excellent also.
