Partou Woodlands House Day Nursery & Pre-school provides exceptional care and education for babies and children up to the age of 5 in Idle, Bradford.

The nursery provides children with a fun, supportive learning environment where they can play in a secure outdoor area every day. Children enjoy a wide range of learning activities from Forest School sessions and dance, to numeracy, ICT and literacy. Parents stay up to date and involved with their children’s learning adventures using the nursery’s own online learning journal.

Woodlands House’s team are experienced and hold childcare qualifications, paediatric first aid certificates and safeguarding training. Every team member has enhanced DBS checks and the nursery has CCTV and secure door entry systems for added security.

The chef at Woodlands House prepares the nursery’s fresh and nutritionally balanced meals and snacks in the nursery kitchen, providing children with healthy and delicious homemade food every day. The nursery’s seasonal menu is prepared with quality, locally sourced ingredients and can be altered to meet any special dietary requirements.

Meals and snacks are included in the nursery’s fees, as well as nappies, wipes and sun cream. 15 and 30 Hours Free Childcare places are available for eligible families.

Fantastic nursery my son has developed so much since he started in the baby room, now in the toddler room. The staff are very friendly, caring and knowledgeable. He really looks forward to going, I'd highly recommend.

My grandson has been attending the nursery for the last 9 months and he has loved it, settled and developed very well. He loves the staff. The staff are very welcoming and friendly and nothing is too much trouble for them. It's like a little family. They do lots of varied activities and it gives the
children a chance to explore things and get involved. Builds their confidence. The nursery are very flexible and accommodating as one of my grandson's parent is a public service worker and works shifts so my grandson's sessions vary week by week. I would highly recommend you consider this nursery.

My daughter has loved being here since September. Even though she’s shy she loves going and always tells me who she likes. The staff always update me on anything that’s happened at the end of the day. She has progressed a lot with her speech since starting and is now starting to learn to write her name.

Couldn’t of sent our little boy to a better nursery. All of the girls are so lovely and will always go the extra mile for all of the children.

My daughter has come on really well at this nursery in terms of development and she trusts 1 member of staff very well as she is quite shy at nursery. The nursery is very friendly and are very good at doing handovers and explaining what my child has been up to during the day. All staff at the nursery
are very polite and friendly always willing to help if needed with support for my child. Would thoroughly recommend to any parents.

My daughter thrives in the nursery setting, the staff are brilliant with the kids they always have been. She has developed so much confidence and become more independent since attending. My little boy attended prior to my daughter and he also loved every minute. The kids are always being challenged

Nursery do such a wide variety of activities with the children, the fact they ask what the children like and theme activities around this is great, the children are really given the options to be creative and explore. In my experience the staff let the children lead and I really like this approach.
The food menu and variety is great. Nursery do so many themed days and really allow the children to be themselves and support them. No matter the weather the children always get to go outside and play. I feel comfortable leaving my little one and know that she is settled and well looked after. I am provided with regular updates, including pictures and videos on the learning book app which is great, along with parents' evenings and a daily update when my little one attends.

We have had a very positive experience with Woodlands House nursery. The care our little boy receives is excellent, the staff are lovely and prioritise the learning of the children. My son has settled in so well at Woodlands. The staff are so caring and friendly. I visited other nurseries, but my husband and I got such a good vibe here. The preschool learning space is spacious, bright and airy.
What I found particularly lovely is that the staff really show an interest in the
children's personal interests and base learning activities around these. If my son is ever feeling a little shy when he first arrives, the staff quickly take him to his favourite dinosaur, and he feels at ease straight away.
It is great to see the activities my son takes part in on LearningBook. He has also flourished and become much more independent since attending Woodlands. He is now able to dress himself, as well as put on his own coat and shoes. Thank you!

My child has been coming to the Nursery now for eighteen months and I have to say she loves it.
She talks about the other children and staff all day long and to me, that speaks volumes! I always feel assured that she is in the safest hands, and communication between the team and parents is excellent

Excellent nursery with amazing staff! My little boy has been going to Woodlands House day nursery for almost a year now and he looks forward to going each day, he even asks to go on non-nursery days. The activities provided are very varied and enjoyable and I love being able to see his photos in his

Excellent nursery my daughter loves going and always has so much to tell me about her day. Will be sad when she has to leave for school but will definitely be choosing this nursery for my younger daughter! The staff go above and beyond, and I would definitely recommend!

Amazing nursery. My little boy loves attending nursery and has come on leaps and bounds since he started. All the workers are friendly, welcoming and caring and it's like being part of a huge family. It feels like you are walking into a huge hug when you arrive and feel the same when you leave.

My little boy started Woodlands House Private Day Nursery and Pre-school, Bradford in December. He loves it! The activities the staff do around their learning and development are amazing. They are always updating us with photographs (on learning book) every time he has been to nursery and I can see
from the photos he is having lots of fun. The staff in the baby room are so friendly, welcoming and we know he is in good hands, would highly recommend this nursery.

All staff are amazing and my son loves going. He has progressed so much since starting in babies in April 2021. The staff always give daily updates when he is collected and always tries to tailor his learning and play around his interests. I would highly recommend this nursery to anyone.

ABOUT ME:
I started at Woodlands House in 2008, aged 16 years old, as an apprentice where I have worked my way up whilst gaining qualifications in childcare.


In my previous position as deputy manager, I regularly stepped up to the position of acting manager whilst also assuming the position at other Just Childcare settings. I pride myself in being a go-to person for support and have used my experience to support various managers throughout recent years.

WHY CHILDCARE?
My mum used to be a childminder which means I have always been around children since a very young age. What’s more, my older sister worked in a nursery where I would often help during school holidays.


I love seeing children develop and have fun. Being able to watch the children grow into the little characters they become makes my job priceless.


INTERESTS & HOBBIES:
I enjoy being on the go and always keeping busy whether that be going on holiday, meeting new people, camping in my tent, or simply heading on a walk.


My regular hobbies usually involve my dogs Lyla and Maya. I’m club captain/ head trainer at Calverley Chasers Fly Ball team where I compete regularly in national competitions and I also take them to sniffer dog training. Alongside all this, I have a little side business called ‘Let’s get Tuggie’, where I make individual canine enrichment toys from scratch.
