Thorncliffe Park Day Nursery

Excellent nursery. Very happy with the care provided. Our child has grown in confidence, been encouraged to try new things. Supported us all as a family, dealt with personal issues with sensitivity. Our child has made many happy memories at nursery that she will cherish forever. Thank you.

I would like to highly recommend Thorncliffe park day Nursery. I'm happy to send my son's younger siblings next year. All rules of safety and cleanliness are followed without causing concern to children and us parents. The atmosphere in the nursery is very warm and friendly. My son felt good there and he wanted to come back every day with joy.

A beautiful nursery with a lovely safe and secure atmosphere. The staff are friendly and supportive and maintain excellent links with parents. They do beautiful activities and lots of work is sent home. The food is delicious too.

I selected Thorncliffe Park Day Nursery for my daughter as it had come highly recommended by family. My daughter has been at nursery since she was 9 months old and has loved and thoroughly enjoyed her time there. They have made her feel safe and secure and this has resulted in her enjoying to go and never getting upset when we leave her which has been a massive relief as a parent. The staff are friendly, approachable and clearly care about the children they look after. My daughter has come on leaps and bounds and they have significantly contributed to her being ready to start school. I cannot recommend the nursery or the staff highly enough.

We are really going to miss going to the nursery most mornings.

Thorncliffe Park Day Nursery offers our daughter excellent care and flexible hours. The staff are very friendly and have always made us feel at ease. Our daughter comes home from nursery after a session to tell us all about her day. Our daughter learns through play and is becoming an independent, caring and polite child with thanks to Thorncliffe Park nursery. All routines and requests have always been followed, giving stability to our daughter - thank you.

When we first took our son here, we were very happy with the quality of care that he was getting, and he always loved being there. Unfortunately, this changed when the nursery was taken over by Cornerstone Nurseries.

There were changes such as no longer giving a sheet at the end of each session with details of his meals and what he had done during the day. Also, everything seemed to be about the money, with extra charges introduced for lots of little things, and a whole host of 'supplements' when paying by childcare vouchers.

We used the nursery for 2 days a week, from 8.30am to 6.30pm, so obviously, this included meals as well. When using childcare vouchers, they can only be used for core hours, and not over lunchtime. For our hours, this was £390 per month. We have since moved to another nursery, for the same hours and we are paying £75 per month.
