Sunshine Day Nursery

The staff are genuine and approachable especially for those nervous about leaving their little ones. The nursery appears to have a brilliant attitude towards educating these little minds. Both my children have been characters to look after and it's been a real pleasure to know the staff also appreciate the same individuality that most parents see in their children. The environment is warm and welcoming and I would recommend to anyone looking for a lovely place for their children to start.

I feel really confident in leaving my daughter on a daily basis knowing that she is looked after very well.

A safe, clean, fun and educational environment. I never worry when I leave my girl as I know she is safe hands.

Can't fault the staff or nursery they have been excellent. The staff are great and are always so supportive to not only the children but parents too. They have done wonders with both my children and even put in a referral for my son which was great and worked with him to help bring him on. The nursery is outstanding with the care and attention they give and I would recommend these to anyone thinking of sending their children there.

We have used Sunshine Day Nursery since September 2014 when our son was 6 months old. I highly recommend the facility as the staff are wonderful and so friendly that it now feels like we are extended family. The nursery is very supportive through weaning and potty training and our son loves spending time with his friends at Sunshine - we can't say enough good things about it!!

I was always in two minds whether or not nursery would be the right place for my son until I visited Sunshine Day Nursery.

The staff are absolutely fantastic from working with the children to helping parents and always lending a listening ear.

My son currently attends this nursery and first arrived a few days after his 1st birthday.

He came on ability wise and socially in leaps and bounds. They keep a record of all progress he makes and hold regular parents evenings for you to be told all about their current achievements and for parents to also discuss any worries.

I really cannot rate this nursery enough, the ideas for playtime activities are unreal, the nursery staff really go to extra lengths when it comes to playtime.

My son now sadly leaves in August to start his new school in September and I’m truly sad for him to be leaving. My son has been cared for and made to feel safe in his nursery from day one and I’ll always be truly grateful to all staff there.

My little boy has been attending this nursery since the age of 8 months, he is now 2 and a half years old. He has been looked after extremely well since he started in the baby room and in the current room he is in. He thrives and learning a lot through play and all the activities there. We are updated regularly on his progress when we pick him up and also during parents evening. The staff are very caring and understand my child's needs/ likes/ dislikes. Any move to the next room for the older age group is done in a very sensitive manner and well planned. I highly recommend this nursery!

Both my children have attended this nursery from the age of one, my eldest attended until he started school and youngest is aged 4 and will be there until she starts school too. I have always been very happy with the care that the children have received. The staff are warm and caring and seem genuinely interested in the children. I would wholeheartedly recommend the nursery.

There are lots of activities, singing and crafts for the children to participate in. Flexible drop off and pick up times during arranged hours and it is easy to organise additional days if required. Overall, a lovely nursery with friendly staff.

My daughter has attended this nursery for 3 years and has been supported, nurtured and loved from day one. This is a lovely nursery and I would highly recommend it, the staff excel themselves in every aspect of care and teaching, my little girl has loved every minute of her time there.
