Sunshine Day Nursery

Highly recommended!

Especially in Rainbows where my child recently transitioned from, the ladies have been amazing I felt like my child was safe and cared for as though they were with a family member!

Our son began attending the nursery in January this year and he has had a really pleasant experience so far. He always looks forward to going to preschool. The staff are very professional, excellent communicators, providing us with a report on his activities at the end of each day. They are very hardworking, providing real-time updates in his news feed. The nursery environment is always very clean and free of hazards, they don't compromise on safety. In addition, the children are provided with nutritious and healthy food to help with their growth and development. Prior to joining, he struggled with his speech, but now he speaks very clearly without stuttering and has improved in his use of vocabulary. Our son has also developed a strong interest in painting as a result of his nursery experience. He will surely miss it there and take fond memories of the nursery to his new school. We are very satisfied with the fundamental knowledge our boy has received at Sunshine Day Nursery.

My daughter loves the staff and has made some lovely friends who will be moving on to school with her.

Excellent and professional. Really good communication with us and demonstrate outstanding care for our children. Our children have additional needs and Sunshine Day Nursery work really well in supporting these. I would thoroughly recommend Sunshine Day Nursery.

Really positive experience with the nursery. Staff are lovely which made it easy for our daughter to settle in. Staff are able to give updates on how they’ve been at the end of the day which is always nice to hear.

Absolutely an amazing nursery, my daughter is always happy and looks forward to seeing the staff in the morning. She is always clean and happy when I collect her. The staff love their job and I can tell as my daughter is always happy, so are the staff, really friendly and happy feel. I've got three children, 14, 10 and 10 months old - this is by far the best nursery I have sent my children to.

Sunshine Day Nursery have looked after both of my girls for throughout their baby, toddler and preschool development. The staff are an absolute credit to the nursery and have always been so friendly, caring and professional. The nursery has always been able to accommodate some flexibility when I have requested additional sessions for my kids. They have wonderful resources from indoor sand and water play, painting and imaginative play, to outdoor spaces which are used in good weather. My kids really have loved coming to nursery and the location at the local hospital has made it so convenient for working parents to pick up and drop off within the working day. My eldest daughter looks forward to attending the holiday club at Sunshine Day Nursery, where she enjoys being a bit independent with a small sum of money at the tuck shop, meeting new friends, being creative, watching movies and going on amazing trips with the dedicated staff.

My eldest is sad to be leaving they have enjoyed it so much, it really has been a home away from home for them.

The most amazing nursery. My little boy came here from being 2 up until leaving for reception and is diagnosed with ASD and is also nonverbal and nothing was ever too much, they supported me all the way, could never thank all the staff enough.

My little girl absolutely loved coming to this nursery. We had a bad experience with a previous nursery she used to attend, and all the staff at Sunshine completely turned this around for us. All of the staff are so lovely and professional, and the nursery setting is brilliant. My little girl has really developed and has learnt so much since attending Sunshine. We will be really sad to go, but I'm confident they have set up for a positive start to school. Can't thank the staff enough for all they have done.

My son has been at Sunshine Day Nursery since he turned one, and I returned to work. I looked around a couple of other nurseries that were manic and loud, and then I visited Sunshine and couldn’t believe how calm and quiet it was. Throughout his time at nursery, he has been so looked after and has loved his teachers in every class. I’ll be so sad for him to leave and go to school this year. I really can’t recommend this nursery enough for the care they give the children and the peace of mind you have as a parent knowing your child is being so well looked after when you’re not there.

Sunshine has looked after my 21-month-old daughter since I went back to work when she was 14 months old. Her key workers have been outstanding. My daughter was upset at most of the drop-offs, to begin with, but now happily toddles in without saying goodbye! I would recommend Sunshine to all parents.

The staff have been kind and caring over the years, and I can't thank them enough. Nothing is too much trouble. I had anxiety about going back to work, but I didn't need to. This nursery took really good care of my daughter and made the transition easier. I've always found the office to be helpful, and they sort out any problem you may have. Over the years, my daughter's social skills have improved as well as her overall learning. My daughter loves her nursery experience and all the staff.

We have used Sunshine Day Nursery to care for our two children for nearly six years! We have nothing but praise for the staff. We have always put our children in safe hands, and they have loved going to nursery love the years. They will continue to return to the holiday club.

The only one niggle would be if the teachers regularly updated us parents on what my child could do with improving on eg, writing, spelling, etc - so we could help her more at home.

I would highly recommend this nursery for up to 3 years prior to pre-school.

Both my sons attended Sunshine Day Nursery from age 1 until they left to start school. They both have had an enjoyable experience, and we have felt they were both very well cared for. All the staff have been very kind and approachable. Thank you.

My daughter started at the nursery at one year old, so has been through all three room stages; what a pleasure it has been sending her here. I work at the trust/hospital, so it made me feel very comfortable knowing we were both on the same site. My daughter has slight additional needs, and every single staff member has gone above and beyond to make her feel comfortable and at ease whilst being in the nursery. Her confidence has grown so much, and she absolutely adores every single worker in there. She will miss it so much, including myself, but the dreaded time has come for her to transition to big school. Thank you, Sunshine, for giving my daughter the best three years whilst being in your care.
