Sunshine Day Nursery

It is definitely a place to recommend.

Can not recommend this nursery enough, my son has been going to this nursery since his rainbows class. They go above and beyond for your kids and take care of them like they are their own. Any concerns I have brought up have always been dealt with quickly and professionally. My son has a hard time leaving me at drop off, they have gotten used to this and try every way possible to cheer him up the minute he walks in, normally with lots of cuddles which he loves. The best nursery I could have sent my child too. Sunshine Day Nursery you will be missed!!

We have used Sunshine for both our kids and they have both loved it immensely, learned a lot, and made so many friends. They have been so flexible as well which is very useful for changing hours when doing on calls.

We recommend it to any family looking for an outstanding nursery where children are truly cared for and inspired to thrive.

Amy, Arthur's key worker in pre school 1 is so kind and lovely. He was really shy to start of with and Amy took the time to get to know him and make sure he settled as we had tears at the start she always reassured him and reassured me he would be fine and took the time to make sure he was ok. Amy is great at her job and we are so happy she was Arthur's key worker. I know Arthur is in good hands and well looked after when I drop him off which I am so grateful for, as all the staff in pre school 1 are amazing with the children. I would highly recommend this nursery. His confidence has grown as well as learning lots of new skills and making lots of new friends.

The only reason we are leaving is to align with our older child's school drop-off and pick-up timings.

I would like to thank the team at Sunshine for providing excellent care during the time my son's attended. From joining at 10 months old - 3 years I have felt full confidence in the team. My son has spent time in Raindrops 2 and the Rainbows room. I feel all staff members in each room and within the nursery are welcoming and friendly and kept me well informed on picks up of how he was during the day. Contact was provided where needed and updated posts on the app. I would definitely recommend Sunshine and know my son and I will miss it there! Thank you!

I couldn't be happier with Sunshine Day Nurseries for my daughters first nursery. From the very beginning, the staff have been incredibly welcoming, caring, and attentive. It's clear how much effort they put into creating a safe, nurturing, and stimulating environment where the children feel happy and confident.

My daughter has come on so much since starting-socially, emotionally, and in her learning-and she genuinely looks forward to going each day. Communication with parents is excellent, and I always feel informed and reassured.

I am so grateful to the whole team for the love, patience, and dedication they show every day. I would highly recommend this nursery to any parent looking for a supportive and nurturing place for their child.

Now that she has a younger brother, we have no hesitation in saying that he will certainly be attending Sunshine Day Nursery when the time comes.

Excellent nursery! I am very happy that I had my kids at Sunshine day nursery , first my son and second my twin girls they had a very good development they been so happy all days long. Thank you ,all the staff did a great job I really appreciate all of them.

My son has been coming to this nursery for a year now, and he really enjoys his time here. At first, he was quite upset and found it hard to settle, but the staff in Raindrops and Rainbows have been absolutely wonderful with both him and me. They took the time to understand what he likes, which made a huge difference in helping him feel comfortable and happy. Their kind and supportive words were also a great comfort to me during what was a pretty emotional time.

The nursery itself is fantastic; there's so much for the children to do each day, and it's always clean and well cared for. I truly feel the staff go above and beyond in everything they do, they are great at their jobs and clearly care deeply about each child's well-being and development. Over the past year, I've seen so much progress in my son, and I'm incredibly grateful to all the staff for looking after him so well and making his days here so enjoyable.

Their opening hours are also something that sets them apart from many other nurseries. We both work within the NHS, and so early starts and late finishes are common; the nurseries hours has made what can be a stressful part of child care, far less so.

My little boy will soon be 4 and has been attending this nursery since he was 1 years old, the fact that he wants to go to nursery says it all. All the staff are really friendly and nothing is too much. My little boy had to have an operation and they were brilliant at making adaptations to suit him for his return. I have no worries leaving him in their care

Great nursery and environment for little ones. My daughter has been going since she was 11 months old. She has come on leeps and bounds with her confidence as well as her learning. I only hope she loves school as much when she starts in September.

My daughter has had a wonderful time at sunshine day nursery. She has attended since she was 1 year old and I know will really miss all the friends she has made there. The staff have been lovely in each room she's been in and she's always had a named worker that she has bonded with really well. The management are always very responsive to any queries I have. They take really good care of the kids, we will miss coming to sunshine day nursery.

We've had a wonderful experience with my Sunshine Day nursery in NGH! The teachers are incredibly dedicated and have taken such great care of my little one. It's heartwarming to see how much she enjoys going to school every day-she's always excited and especially loves the food! The office staff are also fantastic-always helpful and quick to respond to any queries or concerns. I'm sure my daughter will dearly miss all her teachers in PS1, especially one, who has made a lasting impression. We're so grateful for the care and attention she's received here!

Everything was perfect in all 4 years any problem we had the nursery was help with everithing. They help my son to develop and to grow up nice, they help to be confident in hem self and to talk. The teachers very good.

Most importantly, our daughter is always excited to go in the morning and comes home happy and full of stories of what she has done. We couldn't ask for more and highly recommend this nursery to any parents looking for a safe and supportive environment.

My little girl has attended Sunshine Day Nursery from the age of 1 until she will be leaving for school this summer. It's convenient for work and I absolutely can't recommend it enough! The first day she came home was the day she started to run across the room and from that first milestone so many more have been reached. She's totally flourished at the nursery made lasting friendships and her bond with the staff is so lovely to watch particularly her keyworker in pre school they have had a lovely bond which as a working parent is such a relief to know they are happy and safe while im not around. I know when she leaves in august tears will be shed because we both love Sunshine day Nursery it will remain a special memory for all the family and she would not be the confident little girl she is today without it!
