Oak Valley Day Nursery

Do not recommend this nursery. Not only have they changed their rules so that even fully funded children have to pay and invoice due to their rules on hours they've now made me pay an invoice for this month only to tell me a week later that I owe a late payment charge from 4 months ago and my son is no longer allowed to attend unless this is paid!! Won't give me a refund for the money iv paid for food and nappies and give me no notice to find him a new nursery place. Won't let me speak to management other than 'acting deputy manager' who doesn't know the answer to any question when asked on the phone. Also owe me my 2 daughters deposits but now apparently they were used to clear late payments than didn't exist! Absolutely disgusting money grabbing company. Not only that, there's been several occasions where iv picked my son up and his nappy is either full or iv had to send him back in to have it changed because he's pood and been left in it

The staff are caring and supportive. The nursery are brilliant at communicating and always willing support. The best nursery around. I will always recommend. My child has come on so well from their support. I appreciate everything they have done and I am so grateful. Thank you so much.

A great nursery, all the staff are lovely and my son is very happy at Oak Valley and enjoys coming each week. The staff were very supportive in helping him transition from the baby room to the toddler room.

He learnt everything from the carer and developed his morality in this environment which is new as we migrated from Sri Lanka. He picked up quickly the language and all other aspects. Thank you so much for Oak Valley Team.

Great nursery, can't fault them in any way. Each member of staff can't do enough to help. All three of my children have attended Oak Valley and each one has loved it there. Thanks again to everyone involved at Oak Valley.

My child has just finished his last year in Oak Valley. He has been attending since he was 11 months old, the staff and management have gone above and beyond to help him develop into the character he is today. I can't recommend this nursery enough. I would like to say a massive thank you to all the staff for all the help over the years.

Attended Easter toddler workshop, staff friendly and welcomed you. Plenty of workstations for the kids. It was a good opportunity to meet other parents and staff. Lovely afternoon. Will attend future workshops.

I like the daily handover by staff. I like the communication by management via email.

My son absolutely loves going to nursery, the staff are friendly and caring and I love seeing my son develop so much. Management is great and any issues are always dealt with quickly and effectively.

Very happy with the childcare my daughter gets. She always looks forward to nursery and always leaves happy, so it says a lot that she enjoys it. All staff are very welcoming and caring. I had the same support when my son was at this nursery, this is why I chose to send my daughter here also.

We were invited to watch my daughter sing in the Christmas show and participate in a workshop afterwards. We really enjoyed getting to see our children play in the nursery environment. Overall it was such a nice experience. We’ve nothing but praise for Oak Valley.

My only suggestion would be to have the concert later in the day, around half 3 or 4 so more parents can attend.

Staff are always happy, and enthusiastic and my son always looks forward to going, he gets excited and that tells me so much. Staff are transparent and communicate well. I have been very happy with my son’s development and since being at this nursery has come on so much in all areas.

My child has been attending Oak Valley for just over a year now and has grown in confidence so much. He enjoys going to nursery every morning and has great relationships with all the staff! The staff are always so helpful and friendly. I can’t recommend them enough.

My daughter attended Oak Valley. When I went to view the setting the rooms were spacious and the staff were engaging with the children. I was given an update weekly on the development of her learning and there was always a different activity. Management was professional with any questions I had, my child was trying new foods and was greeted by friendly staff in the morning which made it easier doing drop offs.

My 3 year old son started at Oak Valley at the end of July 2023, 1 day a week for the school holidays. The nursery staff were amazing with helping settle him in and providing flexible days and hours. My son came home every day with a big smile on his face and a story to tell me about all the fun and amazing things he did that day. Thank you to everyone at Oak Valley for being so welcoming.

My daughter has been at Oak Valley a year and has settled so well. Her key worker and the baby room staff are all lovely and keep me updated on my child’s progress. The office staff are very helpful and also act very quickly and efficiently with any enquiries. I would recommend this nursery and I’m sure my daughter will be just as happy and settled when she moves up to the toddler room.

My child has been here since she was 1 and a half. As she's made her way through rooms all staff have really supported her and us too with potty training. As parents we also love being able to see her weekly observation!

Can't recommend Oak Valley enough. Helpful and friendly staff - always making life easier! My child adored their time - from the learning to the play to the food - all I say is it was great. My child is settled and ready for the next chapter now thanks to Oak Valley.
