We have been sending our son to Early STEPS since he was 10 months old. The team at Early STEPS have taken care of him and helped shape the little happy character he is today. The team are very receptive to questions, concerns and help parents to develop a child's skill set.
The nursery is very clean,
well maintained and organised every morning. The meals provided are fresh and delicious.
A great addition this year is the App which has helped us stay connected a lot more easily to our son's progress.

My son has attended Early Steps Nursery for two years, and he has come on so much since starting. The staff are lovely and compassionate, he feels safe and secure enjoying the four days a week he attends. Best nursery in the area by far, would definitely recommend to other families and relatives alike.

The staff are extremely friendly and helpful, my daughter is loving her sessions. The feedback and updates on her progress have been amazing. I can’t praise them enough as since day 1 it has been wonderful and the facilities inside and outside for the little ones are great.

My daughter has been going to Early Steps Nursery since she was 9 months and she is now 2years7months.
In this time she has been supported by a number of the workers, each time showing an appropriate level for her age. I have seen her develop at such an amazing rate since being at the nursery.

My Son has been going to Early Steps Nursery since he was ten months old and he has just turned three years old. In this time we've had a very positive experience and would highly recommend the nursery to anyone who considers using them.
All of the staff are very welcoming, friendly and accommodating
- Genuine nice individuals, some of which have been working there for several years and know the place inside out.
My Son loves being at nursery which makes the early bird morning drop off very easy before heading off to work for the day!
The rooms are clean, bright and spacious; several activities and options for playtime.
The outdoor area is large, safe and secure and my Son loves to be out there having fun, whether that be on one of the bikes, the mud corner, splashing in the water or chasing around his little friends.

My little girl loves this nursery and all the staff are lovely. I have noticed my little girl grow so much being here. I decided to start potty training late November and I was quite worried about her going to nursery, but I did it and explained our routine and they did exactly the same. It literally
took 1 day of a few accidents and then she was super! They helped incredibly. She comes home from nursery counting, singing, telling me things she has done during the day and she is only 2.5! I would highly recommend this nursery to anyone.

Fantastic staff, always greet us with a smile. My son feels confident and comfortable enough to walk straight in on a morning and sit straight down for breakfast.
His language skills have improved significantly since starting at nursery due to their varied curriculum opportunities.

My daughter has been at   Early STEPS less than a year and absolutely loves it. The staff are amazing and have brought her on so well, especially her speech. The rooms are very spacious and the outdoor area has plenty to do. I would 100% recommend.

My daughter absolutely loves nursery. At first, she was a bit shy and cried when I left her but now she will run off and play with her friends. She does a range of activities and often brings home lovely keepsakes. She enjoys her hot meals for her lunch and eats them all up. The staff are really friendly
and very approachable. Taking her to this nursery was the best decision I’ve made.

My son has been going to the nursery for the last year and has come on in leaps and bounds since starting. He currently attends for two days a week, he enjoys the activities and gets on well with the carers. He loves to play outside and I'm happy to say that they make the most of the outdoor space (weather
permitting). I enjoy having details of what he has been up to every day. Due to external circumstances, we have had to swap my sons days around at nurse quite a bit, the manager is very understanding, and accommodates us on this wherever she possibly can.

The staff are friendly and good with my child. Space is open and light. Independence is encouraged and all sitting together for meal times gives great chance to learn from peers. Activities are more limited than we hoped and more creative choices would be welcomed. Feedback is all positive in the report
book and we'd like to see the worst times reflected. It feels like a safe space for learning although often feels understaffed and that understaffing can effect safeguarding in terms of access to the building.

I have been very impressed with the nursery - all the staff talk to my child with respect and gentle discipline and show great care and patience. Both of my children attend nursery and really enjoy it. I can go to work knowing that they are having a nice day and are being cared for well. The manager is very approachable if I have any queries or concerns. I would recommend this nursery to other parents.

Job Title: Childcare Manager Joined: 2007

My Name is Karen Hibberd, I am the Childcare Manager at Early STEPS Nursery. I have been working with children for over 15 years.
I joined Early STEPS Nursery in 2007 as a Senior Nursery Nurse. As the Nursery expanded I was promoted to Deputy Manager, and was based in the two year old room. In 2010 I began managing the Nursery.
The staff team at Early STEPS Nursery are a pleasure to work with, they put the children first and care about all the children and families in our care. I am very proud of Early STEP's Nursery, and how well the children are prepared for their next steps in education from their time spent with us.
