My son has attended step nursery for the past three years as did my daughter previously. He loves going to nursery and has a close bond with the staff in his room. They have plenty of outdoor time and indoor activities. He’s always bringing art work home.
He is beginning to learn letters and numbers
with the support of the staff which will set him up for school.

Fantastic nursery setting. Both children have attended from the age of 8 months to starting school. Both children have thrived in their development from the effort and time staff put into each day. Would recommend it to anyone interested.

Absolutely outstanding nursery. Every member of staff are so polite and helpful. Everyone smiles at you and says hello and seems to know your child by name even if they aren't in the staff member's dedicated room. Every time I have had a query the staff have gone above and beyond to help. My child absolutely
loves coming to nursery, and his confidence has come on leaps and bounds. I would recommend Early Steps to everyone.

I have sent both my children to this nursery and each time I was more than happy with the care that my children received. The staff are great with the kids making each day fun-filled and enjoyable.
I would highly recommend to anyone to send your child to this nursery, we will be sad to leave for our

Fantastic nursery! My daughter has been coming here since she was 9 months old (3 years now) the manager and staff are so friendly and helpful they put your mind at ease that your child is in the best hands. No question is too much for them. They have lots of interactive play and learning inside and
outside. The online system they use is regularly updated throughout the day which I love.
I constantly recommend Early Steps to people I know, it’s a safe, happy environment for my child and me. You are made to feel part of the Early Steps family.

Couldn't have picked a better place for my son to come, he has developed and learnt so much under their care throughout the years. He has enjoyed every day he has attended and has built strong relationships with the staff looking after him. An overall fantastic, friendly and caring team.

Amazing nursery. Friendly staff who you can tell care for all the children so much. My son has come on so much going here from 8 months old to now 4 years. Always comes home happy and tells me all sorts he has been doing in the day. Fab equipment and resources they have.

Brilliant staff friendly and professional. My boy is adopted and they are very attentive to his needs. He can't wait for his nursery days. There has been a massive change with his learning since starting I am very happy with the standard Early Steps provide.

I have watched both my children grow into confident, talkative and determined little children with the kind and caring, nurturing of all the staff at Early STEPS Nursery. The manager and the team have always been welcoming, friendly, approachable and accommodating to our family needs.
Both children
enjoy reading, being creative and learning through play.
They play indoors and outdoors in all weathers, having exercise, social interaction and fun on a regular basis.
My son has medical needs which have an action plan in place and I feel confident that he is well looked after in this respect.
They have both been excellently supported through potty training, creating secure friendships with other children and supported to reach development milestones.
I'm very happy I chose Early STEPS to give my children the best start in life!

My daughter has been coming to STEPS Nursery since she was 6 months old and is now 2 years old, she settled in straight away and bonded with all the staff who looked after her. She has been learning new words, songs and different objects, drawing and activities. I would highly recommend STEPS Nursery
as the staff are great with the children and the nursery is a bright welcoming place for children to be.

My daughter has been coming here since she was around 20 months old and she’s now in the pre-school room.
We are very happy with the care that is provided at Early STEPS, all the staff are extremely friendly and very approachable and accommodating!
The activities provided are fun and educational
and my daughter loves being here on the two full days a week she attends and often does not want to come home at pick up!
I think that tells you just how happy she is here.
There is a nice outdoor play area and a nursery pet guinea pig which my daughter chats about.
The staff are very informative at handover and there is also the app which is excellent as I can see what she has been up to during the day.
We can highly recommend Early STEPS as a fantastic childcare provider!

We love Early STEPS Nursery, the kids always come home saying they’ve had the best day. The staff are lovely and it’s a great local nursery. Our son has been there for the past 3 years and it’s exceeded our expectations.
The lunches are fab our toddler always finishes and often requests seconds.
Really
like the new digital system for keeping track of what time the baby naps/when the kids eat dinner/photographs of activities they’ve done.
Can’t recommend it highly enough.

The nursery staff are very friendly when welcoming you into the building. They ensure your child knows who they are and familiarise themselves with you instantly. The team in my son's room are very efficient, he settled in so quickly and really enjoys his time there. I would recommend this nursery to
anyone looking for an honest, reliable and trustworthy place where you feel comfortable. I can see what my son is up to, sleeping times, food eaten, etc., which is a comfort.

Our daughter has been going to this nursery for the last year and we would definitely recommend them. The staff invest so much time in the children and their development. The facilities are great and they have lots of outdoor time which is really important for us. Our little girl is always full of smiles
when we collect her and always talks fondly about the staff. They are really approachable and always happy to help with any emerging issues.

Both of my children really enjoy to STEPS nursery. They have settled well, get on well with the other children and have good relationships with the staff. The management are amazing and go above and beyond to cater to any needs for me or the children. My oldest is in pre-school and has learnt so much
and come on amazingly since moving into this room. I'd recommend this nursery to others and I have. Great environment and great price.

My son loves Steps Nursery. He goe's twice a week but if it was up to him he would go every day. He has made excellent progress since starting 10 months ago. All the staff are so friendly and my son loves them all. I can't recommend this nursery enough.

My daughter has been very happy to come to nursery from day one. She very rarely cries and loves all the teachers and carers. We've noticed he doing things that we haven't taught her she definitely learns a lot from nursery. Management have also been extremely accommodating during the time we've needed

My little girl loves it here and so do I! As a nursery worker myself, I knew exactly what I was looking for in a setting and Early STEPS deliver. The staff are excellent, they take a very personal approach to teaching and the setting feels like a home from home. The staff are keen to support my daughter
with learning about her culture and celebrate a range of festivals from around the world. Communication is very good and the app which they use is fab, and really allows me to see what level my daughter is at and what she gets up to in nursery. The management are also very supportive, especially when it comes to forms or applying for funding etc, they are always happy to help and will go that extra mile. Displays around the setting are always up to date and relevant to each class which is lovely. The outdoor area is spacious and has lots of equipment for little ones to use their energy. They also have a pet guinea pig which my daughter loves! Highly recommend!

Excellent experience since day one. The staff are very friendly and professional. They are very attentive to my daughter's need and demands. Very experienced and warm team. The team across the nursery are very friendly and helpful. We received daily updates and her personal development review is very
detailed. My daughter loves being there and she enjoys being with the team. I would highly recommend it to anyone. Very clean and a wide range of things on offer for the kids.

Job Title: Childcare Manager Joined: 2007

My Name is Karen Hibberd, I am the Childcare Manager at Early STEPS Nursery. I have been working with children for over 15 years.
I joined Early STEPS Nursery in 2007 as a Senior Nursery Nurse. As the Nursery expanded I was promoted to Deputy Manager, and was based in the two year old room. In 2010 I began managing the Nursery.
The staff team at Early STEPS Nursery are a pleasure to work with, they put the children first and care about all the children and families in our care. I am very proud of Early STEP's Nursery, and how well the children are prepared for their next steps in education from their time spent with us.
