Partou Whalley Meadows Day Nursery & Forest School

My son loves attending nursery and holds his new key-worker in high regard! He comes home chattering about the activities he did, always very happy and excited about his day. The nursery is extremely well run and organised with professional, friendly staff. Hats off to the chef too- my little boy seems to prefer her cooking to mine!

For the last two years the staff at Whalley Meadows Private Day Nursery and Forest School, Clitheroe have done a fantastic job of educating and looking after our daughter. In every room she has been in, the staff have been caring, well informed and dedicated to ensuring that she is happy whilst in their care. The nursery offers a good range of activities. My daughter spends a lot of time outside and at Forest School, an activity that she loves and talks about often. She never complains about attending and speaks about the staff and the other children with great affection. The management is excellent. As parents we have been well informed and nothing has been too much trouble, even during the challenging times of the pandemic. I cannot recommend Whalley Meadows Private Day Nursery and Forest School, Clitheroe enough. When it is time for my daughter to move on to Primary School, I know she will miss being there immensely but we will be grateful for the excellent start they have given her.

The girls have made my son feel very at ease coming to nursery and I'm sure he is going to love it there! I also feel happy to leave him in their care knowing he is going to have a brilliant day, with lots of activities and exciting new learning.

A wonderful preschool. The staff are so friendly and caring. My son loves going every day. He enjoys all the activities, especially Forest School with one particular member of staff. Two other members of staff are fantastic and have really helped my son to be prepared to start Primary School in September. Their encouragement and support has given him confidence and he is progressing so well in his learning.

All of my children have attended Whalley Meadows Private Day Nursery and Forest School, Clitheroe and all three have loved it! They are like a family. All the staff know all the children, even when they are not in their room. They do a wide range of activities and they love forest school. I can’t recommend Whalley Meadows Private Day Nursery and Forest School, Clitheroe enough!

I have had a really good experience with Whalley Meadows Private Day Nursery and Forest School, Clitheroe. The baby room staff are exceptional and you know your baby is well cared for and safe. There is nominal staff turnover, so you always feel confident in handing your child over. My daughter loves the forest school and has a really good relationship with the staff.

We have just currently started our third child at Whalley Meadows Private Day Nursery and Forest School, Clitheroe and would highly recommend this childcare setting. The staff are fantastic and provide a warm, calm and lovely environment for the children to thrive in. Our eldest spent three years at Whalley Meadows Private Day Nursery and Forest School, Clitheroe and absolutely loved her time there and our second daughter has been going since six months old and loves it. Our third daughter has just started and has settled in well and the staff have been amazing.

My little boy has been attending for the past nine months and he has settled in well and walks in happily, when he goes. We are updated via photos on the learning app. Friendly staff when dropping child off. Very happy with experience.

Whalley Meadows is a wonderful caring nursery and was absolutely our favourite when we looked around. The staff are so caring and warm and my child literally skips through the doors each morning. I know that he is in safe hands with the team who take special attention to find out each child’s likes and dislikes. Not only is it a friendly place, the staff are also highly skilled and clearly know what they’re doing. They know how to support each child’s individual needs, whether it is speech, feeding or social skills. My child has come on leaps and bounds here. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend Whalley Meadows to anyone.

I have nothing but great words to say about Whalley Meadows. My little boy loves it there and very much looks forward to his time at nursery. The staff are friendly and interactive and keep me updated on his progress, matching it to EYFS guidance. They have worked throughout the pandemic, creating a safe and inviting space for the children they care for.

Excellent childcare provision. Staff are very attentive and caring. The forest school is a highlight for our children and they go no matter the weather. Children have developed so well under their care.

Wonderful nursery who have cared for our little boy since he was a baby. They made my return to work when he first started so much easier and he is really thriving at Whalley Meadows. Makes all the difference knowing he is so happy.

I have had two children attend this nursery, my eldest from turning one year, up until starting school and my youngest has been attending now for one year. The facilities are excellent - particularly the forest school arrangements and outdoor play which both of my children loved. It was very daunting choosing a place to care for my eldest child but I wasn't disappointed and had no hesitation when my youngest child joined. The staff are very friendly and caring - both of my children formed strong bonds with both the staff and other children. I also highly rate the food choices both for variety and quality. My children are both vegetarian and the inclusion of a meat-free day during the week for all children had a positive effect on my own, very inclusive and thoughtful. I would highly recommend this nursery, an excellent learning environment for the children, very welcoming and caring staff plus great facilities and activities which all add up to peace of mind for parents - priceless.

My children have thrived during their time at Whalley Meadows. They have received excellent care from staff and have loved the outdoor provision. I have always felt happy to leave my children knowing that they will be nurtured and supported. The food provision is second to none, all healthy balanced meals cooked on-site that my kids devour.

Simply based on the fact that my son has settled in so quickly at nursery and is happy there, is enough for me to be confident in recommending the nursery to friends and family.

Absolutely fabulous nursery and the staff know my daughter and her needs very well. My daughter loves coming to nursery and the interesting activities during the day.

I have been so happy since day one, the level of care for my baby has been exceptional and is very much appreciated and noticed daily.

It’s the small things which mean the most, such as ringing me at work to let me know my baby was fine after being upset when I left him. It really does mean a lot.

My daughter has been attending Whalley Meadows Nursery for about a year and a half and we are really pleased. There is a good mix of experience between the staff that look after her and my daughter has positive things to say about them all. As her expressive language increases, so does our understanding of what her day entails, and this is also evident in the progress that she is making. The videos/photos that we receive through 'my learning book' compliment the thorough daily handover that we receive from the staff. The food provided is of good quality too.
