Partou Whalley Meadows Day Nursery & Forest School

Fantastic nursery. My SEN child attends and they do everything possible to help and support her. All staff are approachable, kind, caring and very professional. They have been flexible with my child and do not push anything onto her. They do their utmost to make adjustments for my child to make her develop as well as possible. They include you in everything and keep you updated too. Clean classrooms.

I could not be more pleased with the experience my little one has had at Whalley Meadows, so far. The settling in sessions have been fantastic and the wonderful practitioners in the Baby Room have done everything they can to ensure he is ready to start and feels comfortable and happy within their space. I am regularly updated during handover and through the Learning App and my little boy loves going. I am so excited for the start of his learning journey at Whalley Meadows and love that we have worked together to ensure that he is ready.

Amazing and friendly staff. The range of activities and learning through play that’s on offer to all the children is incredible. I’ve seen a huge improvement in my daughter's development and it’s all down to the fantastic ladies that look after her. I highly recommend it.

My daughter was very nervous about starting nursery and it would be stressful for us as parents seeing her upset. This did not last long and the nursery room team were amazing at easing her anxiety and ours as parents. She is like a different child now and gets so excited to go everyday. She has also shown so much growth since attending and I look forward to her continuing journey with the Whalley Meadows team.

He loves going to forest school. Thank you all for helping him grow in confidence.

We love the Learning Books as it keeps us updated concerning activities throughout the day. The staff always let us know about her day for example how much off she has had and if there were any activities that morning and make sure our daughter feels safe and well looked after.

Absolutely delighted with Whalley Meadows Nursery. Our son started when he was 1 year old, he settled in very quickly and gets so excited when we pull up outside. His confidence and character have really started to shine. It is very clear that he has a warm and trusting relationship with the ladies at the nursery who take care of him. It was such a huge decision where to send our child and I'm so happy and thankful that we chose such a wonderful environment. Needless to say, we would highly recommend it.

Our little boy is currently in the baby room and absolutely loves it. The staff who are caring for him are wonderful and a blessing to both the babies and parents. The activities they complete are different to what we do at home and I have seen him develop through the time spent at nursery with the staff and other children. At the end of each day, the staff in the room are all able to share what has happened that day in terms of what has been eaten and nap times as well as activities they’ve done. I feel so happy leaving him in their care here as I know he is happy and well looked after.

My daughter loves her time at Whalley Meadows in the preschool room. She loves trips to the big forrest school. I love the updates on the learning app. It's a great place for preschoolers.

My son has been attending Whalley Meadows for over a year and he loves it. The staff are all friendly and know all the children's names, even when they're not in the same room as them. My son does a wide range of activities at nursery and always goes in fine. He's recently moved up to another room and the transition period has been great. He's really benefited from a slow introduction to the room and we are so happy we picked Whalley Meadows.

Our daughter loves going to Whalley Meadows. She has really progressed since starting last year. The staff in her room are always very friendly and have a great relationship with our daughter. When she arrives she holds her arms out to her keyworker and is at ease straight away. She enjoys the food she eats at nursery, and has a varied diet there. She certainly tries more food at nursery than she does at home! She is starting a new room very soon, and I am certain she will love it just as much as she does now!

Fantastic staff who offer support to me as a parent as well as to my son. It's got a wonderfully warm environment for children to grow and learn also the meals that are provided for the children are fabulous, my son absolutely loves them. I honestly couldn't wish for a better place for my son and can't recommend Whalley Meadows highly enough.

The staff seem caring and there are varied activities based partly on what the children are interested in. Forrest school is really good, she always has a great time there. She is happy there and I feel happy that she enjoys it

My 1-year-old daughter quickly changed from crying when I dropped her to putting her arms out to go to whoever was there to greet us, showing how much she loves and trusts the staff. The nursery itself is small and lovely and she’s full and shattered when I collect her, showing she has had the best day. Cannot praise this place more or rate it higher.

We are very happy with how our daughter is cared for. All the staff are friendly, understanding and fun. Our daughter loves going and we can't wait to see her changes in the next year. A big thank you.

The only thing I would like is more about what she’s done in the day, in terms of learning/activities.

Just Childcare is now holding my deposit (in breach of their own terms) and I will be proceeding with legal action to recover.

Love that there is a forest school, which my daughter loves going to.

My little boy absolutely loves nursery. I couldn’t have picked anywhere better for him. I was so nervous choosing a nursery as he is my first but Whalley Meadows has put me at ease. He always comes home after having an activity-packed day with a big smile on his face.
