Partou Willowdene Day Nursery & Pre-school is a caring, happy nursery in Widnes for babies and children aged up to five years. The nursery has been caring for the children since 1995 and has an excellent reputation in Widnes.

Children at Willowdene can play in a safe and secure outdoor area, whatever the weather, and go on regular adventures to Victoria Park, which is directly opposite the nursery. The friendly, experienced and qualified staff provide children with fun learning activities planned around their individual likes and interests. These cover all aspects of the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS).

Children are provided with delicious, nutritionally-balanced meals and snacks, freshly prepared in the nursery kitchen every day.

Willowdene’s kind, caring staff hold safeguarding training and paediatric first aid certificates and all team members undergo enhanced DBS checks.

The nursery has CCTV and secure door entry systems to provide added security for its little ones.

I currently have two children at Willowdene and are both very happy.
They have come on with their development so much in the warm, caring, and encouraging learning environment.
The staff work hard and are friendly, supportive and approachable.
The online learning is very good, my husband and
I really enjoy looking through our children's' books, reading the comments and looking at the photographs of our children.
We really couldn't fault this nursery!

Lovely staff who really care about my child’s development and give him lots of learning opportunities.

My son has come on leaps and bounds at Willowdene. The staff have been attentive in providing support and listening to concerns around my son and his allergies. I have always found the nursery to be accommodating and more than happy to communicate on any level. The activities my son does, he really

My little boy started at Willowdene Nursery on a full-time basis at 6 months old. He has just turned 2 years old and Willowdene feels like part of our family. The staff are amazing, so friendly and attentive, and the care they offer the children is simply wonderful. Communication between the nursery
and home is great and the online learning journal is great and easy to access to see what fun he has been up to and the skills he is developing. Every day at pick up time a thorough breakdown of meals, sleep time, nappies etc is given and it has really helped me establish a routine with him at home. The meals on offer sound delicious and he is eating a wide range of fruit and vegetables. I really can't recommend Willowdene enough - they have my son on a full-time basis which he loves and my mind is totally at ease whilst I'm in work full time, knowing that he is having fab opportunities every day to have messy play etc which I can't always offer at home. Very happy mummy and son!

My daughter has attended Willowdene nursery from the age of 2 and she’s now in her final class at four and a half years old.
Every single room that my daughter has been in, throughout her nursery journey, she has received one on one care, excellent food and we as parents have received excellent feedback
from all members of staff from parents evening/pickups/ and where an issue/problem/concern has arisen.
I would highly recommend this nursery. My daughter has been so happy here, and the staff have given her memories, strength, guidance and education from start to finish, to start her school life with confidence and the tools she needs for later on in life.

My daughter absolutely loves going to nursery in a morning. She has a really lovely connection with all that work there. All of the room assistants are really great and help all the children as much as they can. Nothing is ever too much to ask and they are always willing to help if we have any questions.
The
chef is also really great. My daughter has allergies and will often have something made especially for her so she never misses out.

I have been very happy so far with the nursery and the staff are lovely, very caring. Also, value for money compared to other nurseries in that nappies, wipes, milk and 3 meals a day are provided, breakfast served up until 9 am which isn't the case elsewhere. The food is well thought out and the menu
varied, better than what I can do at home! My daughter seems happy here and will continue to use this nursery.

My 3rd child is currently at the nursery, both my other children were there till they started school and I can’t recommend it enough. The staff are so nice and caring to the children, they have lots of activities and equipment for the children to use.
There are still staff there from 9 years ago
which says a lot.
I haven’t had 1 incident with any of my children while they were in their care.
My friends have also had children in there and are really happy with it.

My daughter has attended the nursery since she was 18 months old. She is now in her final year in the pre-school. She really enjoys going to Willowdene. Every room has provided the correct level of stimulation for her to develop. The activities they do are always very creative and educational. She has

Both my daughter and son have been attending Willowdene for over a year now. They have both settled really well in that time, made friends (with the other children and staff) and their social skills have come on in leaps and bounds. During their time at Willowdene both of them have moved on to bigger
rooms and the staff made the transition very easy and my children were comfortable with this. They always come home happy after a day at nursery. The staff do an amazing job every day and I know my babies are well looked after and cared for. My eldest will start school in September and it will be extremely sad when she has to leave x

Willowdene is such a lovely nursery. All the staff are really friendly and approachable . My daughter who is now 5 went to Willowdene and loved it and now my 11 month old son is there. I would definitely recommend this nursery to friends and family.

I think this nursery is the best in my area, all the staff are very kind and friendly, my first child went here and she loved it. When it was time for me to go back to work with my second child I looked at all different nurseries as Willowdene didn’t have any places yet for him but I didn’t feel comfortable
in any other nursery, I spoke to the manager and she said as soon as a place becomes available it was my sons, I felt so much better, my son loves it there and my new baby will be going there when he is older too.
