Both our children have attended butterflies with our youngest currently in pre school. We are very happy with the level of care that our children have received throughout their time at butterflies. The staff are very warm and welcoming to the children, always very smiley and the pre school room is set out in an inviting way. There are always lots of very creative and fun activities set up, with a focus on learning through play. The children spend a lot of time outside in the garden and aren't afraid to get messy and play outside. The children in pre school have all formed strong friendships and our son is always talking about his friends, the "teachers" and what's going on at pre school! The food that is cooked onsite is really varied and provides welcomed healthy options. Overall I wouldn't hesitate to recommend Butterflies's, as a nursery and pre school.

My child is always coming home singing new songs he has learnt, he is able to identify the staff and his peers, learning and remembering new names, and starting to speak in sentences, often saying 4-5 words together now (e.g. "went in preschool garden"). My child is also starting to recognise and verbalise his emotions more. Staff are demonstrating hard work and commitment to help to improve his communication and language skills each time he attends the setting.

Overall, we've really enjoyed our experience with the nursery, and in the 5+ years both of my children have attended, I've never had any issues.

My child started in June 2025 and is currently in babies room. The staff in her room have all been amazing since she has started, attentive to her needs, helped her achieve her milestones and communicate well with myself. I don't have any concerns regarding the care she is given currently and my daughter loves her keyworker and everyone in the room that look after her. I don't have any negative feedback from our time so far in Butterflies, I feel content that my child is safe and enjoying her time throughout the week. She loves going in garden and loves doing baby yoga. I love receiving the pictures of my child having a brilliant day. I feel like the staff know my child well, the current DSLs and Management are approachable and communicate well. Overall I believe the nursey has a very warm feeling to it and my child is happy attending this nursery.

Any concerns I have had have been dealt with promptly and efficiently.

The nursery and the team have really come on since the Autumn and I genuinely feel that Butterflies is the safest and most family orientated environment I could want my daughter to be in. Their attention to detail for her needs, health and well-being has been exceptional along with the support we have received as a family. We chose Butterflies because it was so much more than a standard nursery and I can safely say it is absolutely so much more than that, and we remain delighted with the team and the settings for our daughter.

I am super happy with butterflies. The staff are always helpful and friendly. The different rooms and outdoor areas are great! My little one settled in well and is super happy. Makes a mummy's heart a little lighter at drop offs.

It is a well-run and managed nursery and nothing is too much for the manager and staff. Thanks very much, forever grateful.

My baby thoroughly enjoys her days at Butterflies Oxton each week. She participates in a wide variety of activities and has come on leaps and bounds since she joined. She enjoys the company of the staff at the nursery and has always been well looked after. We have found all of the staff to be very kind and helpful. Our baby enjoys all of the food she is served and looks forward to trying new things at mealtimes. The menus sound great! Thank you for looking after her so well.

Dropping our daughter off at nursery is a very welcoming experience. Staff check on her wellbeing and she walks into her room without a backwards glance. She has a wonderful time and there is always a variety of activities. Staff have taken the time to get to know her very well and have gone the extra mile in helping her to settle and ensure she eats (she's fussy). Security on the door seems good. We are very happy with our experience. The management are helpful by email and phone.

The whole time my daughter has been a part of Butterflies Private Day Nursery and Pre-school group, she has always been so happy and content. All the staff have been so supportive with any issues that have come up, e.g. child behaviour that has been challenging or going through a tough period, the staff have been so empathetic and can't thank them enough.

After a difficult couple of years with COVID, the Butterflies team are now well established and working so hard with the kids. Team members take time to tell you what they have been up to and make it as personable as possible. The facilities and food choices are great too.

My child has attended Butterflies Private Day Nursery and Pre-school for over two years now and we can't thank all of the girls and his key worker enough. He has made some really good connections and this allows us to feel at ease sending him to nursery. The outdoor area and indoor variation of learning activities are fantastic, from sign language and French to getting outside all year, our little boy is flourishing at Butterflies!

They are a well-managed team, always answering our questions politely and thoroughly when asked.

We have worked closely with the SENCO team at Butterflies and we can’t fault them, they have made sure all the correct measures are put in place for our daughter.
