Partou Butterflies Day Nursery & Pre-school

Staff and managers are fantastic. Rooms are large and spacious. Amazing outside space, front and back. Have a sensory room in the basement. Staff go above and beyond. We feel very lucky that our child attends this setting. Thanks to all the staff for their hard work.

My son has attended Butterflies in Oxton since he was 9 months old in the Tinie room. We love it here. He's grown a strong bond with all members of staff and has no problem going in each day. Leaving him at Butterflies is like leaving him with family. I would recommend this nursery to everyone.

My oldest daughter started at Butterflies a few years ago and since then has moved on to preschool at our local primary school, my youngest daughter now attends Butterflies nursery and I can’t describe how good this nursery is. My oldest daughter was very shy and found interacting with children difficult, this completely changed after a few weeks at Butterflies. All of the staff are amazing and my daughter still talks about the staff even though she hasn’t attended for nearly 8 months. My youngest daughter loves this nursery all of the staff make such a fuss of the children and promote their independence massively. I can’t recommend this nursery any more.

My daughter has been going to Butterflies since she was 9 months old and has always loved going in shouting for her Key Workers and her friends. The nursery caters well to her food allergy as well as her medical conditions and I cannot fault the communication between nursery and home if there are any problems. We are always kept up to date with meals, sleeps and daily activities and my daughter loves to come home and tell me about her day and singing the songs she has learnt. Toddlers staff have been very supportive with toilet training which was a worry of ours and made the transition so much easier. All the staff we have encountered as our daughter has grown through the different rooms have been so supportive and she has taken well to all staff. The manager and her team are a credit to Just Childcare, I couldn't imagine myself feeling as comfortable leaving her in another nursery. I would definitely recommend the nursery to parents looking for a potential nursery.

I have complete trust and faith in the nursery. The team are amazing at their jobs and make me feel comfortable leaving my girls with them. My girls are both a little clingy and often cry when dropping them off but I never worry because I know they’re in safe hands. The girls have developed so much since starting nursery their speech has improved and they’re learning so much. I couldn’t recommend the nursery enough the girls always talk about ‘school’ and especially always talking about a member of staff, in particular, saying they want to see her and play.

We couldn't be happier with Butterflies nursery. My son has been going there for nearly 18 months. The staff are so wonderful and friendly. He loves going and it reassuring for us, knowing that he is in safe hands, learning new skills but also thoroughly enjoying his time there. We were all devastated when he couldn't attend during the first lockdown as me and my husband weren't classed as key workers. I have recommended Butterflies to other mums and wouldn't hesitate to do that again. The girls are amazing! Thank you.

My daughter was extremely wary when first attending but the staff made her feel comfortable and she settled in quickly and now loves going each week. It’s such a lovely and clean nursery and I couldn’t recommend it enough.

My daughter attended Butterflies Nursery from the age of 16 months until she was 3. She really enjoyed her time at nursery and the staff made me feel so comfortable leaving her. She always looked busy and well engaged within activities, great communication from staff and if I had any queries these were answered without hesitation.

Choosing a nursery for my daughter was a very daunting task, but when we found Butterflies we knew this was the perfect place for her. The facilities are fantastic and the staff are so caring and professional. I can’t recommend them enough.

My twin girls have been going for a few months now and both love their time at nursery. They are always full of smiles whenever they see the staff. At first, I was apprehensive about going back to work and sending them to nursery but the staff made me feel so comfortable and after viewing the nursery (pre-Covid) I could tell it had a lovely homely feel and all of the children there looked really happy. The e learning book the nursery use is fantastic as I can see what activities my girls have been doing that day and what they enjoyed so even though I'm not there I feel a part of it. One of my daughters has problems with her mobility and the staff have been absolutely amazing with her and accommodating her needs. I would highly recommend Butterflies and am very happy that my children get to go there.

Overall the nursery is very good. No issues in recommending. I think cost is something that could be improved. It would be good to have more introductions to the staff as well especially when the children move up.

Butterflies Nursery is outstanding. My son absolutely loved it here. We had recently relocated to the area, so I was worried about how he would act, but the manager and the staff couldn’t have done any more to help him settle in. Two members of staff in particular brought out his confidence and helped him in all aspects of learning. The food choices were brilliant, so varied and the outside space is amazing. Would definitely recommend to anyone!

My son absolutely loves attending Butterflies. He can be quite shy, even with grandparents, but runs into nursery every morning! The girls are all lovely and have taught him so much. He could already count to 10 and recognise the numbers by 12 months of age. Now at 2, he knows all of his colours, numbers up to 30 and most letters.

I was extremely anxious sending my little boy to nursery and returning to work when he was 9 months old due to the multiple allergies he has. However, sending him to Butterflies, I needn't have been. At nearly 2, not a single 'slip up' has occurred, which has eased my anxieties greatly. Not only this, the nursery has a welcoming and homely atmosphere with plenty of stimulating activities, both inside and out. The staff are also very friendly, knowledgeable and supportive. As such, I feel happy leaving my boy in their care, but more importantly, my boy is happy in the time he spends at Butterflies.

Literally from day one, she has really enjoyed herself. She loves the activities and the people and seems to have made some little friends. I love watching what she is up to on their social media too - really brightens my day!

Butterflies is an absolutely fantastic nursery. I would highly recommend it, my son loves it there and is very excited every morning to go. The staff there are great, helpful and imaginative. My son is constantly coming home with stories of what he's done in nursery and the best thing is he's still learning alongside it all. Whenever he goes in with a request or something new they always try to incorporate it into their activities. Any queries I've got are solved promptly. The equipment they've got is amazing and the outside areas they have are incredible. My son will most definitely be sad to leave for big school.

Butterflies is a wonderful nursery. My little boy has been going for the past 18 months and absolutely loves it. Lovely children, caring staff and exciting activities. The recent refurbishment is fantastic.

Butterflies is a very well run nursery in all aspects of childcare and development and our Granddaughter is very happy and settled here.

All the staff are warm, friendly and supportive of both ourselves and our Grandaughter and they have become part of our family network.

Beautifully presented, clean, bright and fun nursery with loads going on. My son loves coming to nursery and hates leaving which is a lovely feeling knowing he is happy. The staff are lovely and friendly. I would recommend this nursery to anybody.

My son has been at this nursery since he was 9 months old and has loved every minute. The staff are friendly, helpful and dedicated to the children as well as showing interest in the parents too. My son is a polite and caring little boy and I feel that this has been well supported by the staff who have cared for him. I will be sad when he leaves in September to start his big school adventure but ever thankful for the care and support he has received from the manager and her fabulous team.
