Our daughter is very happy at The Big Picture. The staff are friendly, good fun, adaptable, knowledgeable and enthusiastic. Their ideas are creative and appealing to the children. They are also flexible with parents, giving us the time we need to settle our little ones when they're a little more clingy for whatever reason. Our daughter loves her meals here too, which are homemade and healthy and promote the discovery of different kinds of foods. We have found The Big Picture to enhance our little girl's learning and social development, and the consistency of staff has been imperative in this. She has moved from the baby room to the under two's room and is almost ready to move up again. A resounding thank you from us to you! We highly recommend The Big Picture.

The Big Picture is just an all-around fantastic nursery. The resources available for the children are amazing and the staff treat your little ones as they would their own. My daughter turns one this week, nursery presented her with a beautiful handmade card and all staff were in tears handing it over because the baby of the baby room is growing up! If you are looking for a home-from-home feel, this is the nursery for you! I can't thank the girls enough for their dedication to making each and every day filled with fun and laughter for my daughter and she has come on leaps and bounds since joining. My daughter goes in every day with the biggest smile as she is greeted at the door, what more could you ask for. Thank you the Big Picture!

The Big Picture is a wonderful nursery setting. My little boy attended from 2019-2021 and my daughter started in September this year. The nursery is bright and clean and offers a variety of educational and creative resources. They follow the curiosity approach which aims to ignite children's natural curiosity and encourage child-led learning. The outdoor space is also great for them to learn and explore. The food provided is varied and nutritious and goes down very well each day. My daughter is so happy and settled in the baby room. All the staff are amazing and feel like an extension of our family. It is a pleasure to take her in each day and a relief that she is so pleased to be there. I would highly recommend The Big Picture and wouldn't want to send my children anywhere else.

My daughter is two years old and has been at this nursery since she was nine months old. She was a very shy baby before starting here, the nursery has helped her come out of her shell a lot more now. This nursery goes above and beyond in what they teach children, as well as encouraging them to express themselves through play. I would highly recommend this nursery. The staff are amazing, kind, pleasant and very understanding.

The staff is very friendly and welcoming. And my son is archiving very much, thank you for that. And the place is very clean and tidy every time I pick up and drop off my son. The food is brilliant value.

My daughter is very happy with going to nursery on Friday, she looks forward to it every week. She's come on leaps and bounds since starting. Very happy with everything they do for her. Thank you very much to all staff.

We love the Big Picture day nursery and preschool. We have both our children here and think the staff, settings and activities are all excellent. They provide everything we need for our children, all the staff are professional but friendly and personable too. They are a big family here and make the children part of that family also. I love that this nursery integrate the children into the community, with regular visits to the care home where they will sing songs or bake with the residents. We are updated regularly on our children's development as well as daily updates on their day. We can see key parts of their week on the parents' app to document their journey in nursery. The food is varied and gives the children opportunities to try new foods. We love this nursery and would highly recommend it to anyone looking for a care setting for their little ones.

My son moved to The Big Picture nursery from another nursery and has absolutely flourished. The staff are fantastic, friendly, welcoming and always with a smile. The meals are fresh and nutritional. The nursery itself is a great place to explore for children, lots of nik-naks and general everyday items to play with and learn about. Lovely outside spaces and always plenty of fun things to do and learn. I would highly recommend The Big Picture nursery to any family looking for a nursery or wanting to relocate their child/children

Terrible, badly organised, unreliable. The staff have mostly left to terrible management, so constantly let parents down and closed with very short notice. Incorrect invoices and waiting months for a reply from anyone. I have had to remove my child which has been unsettling for her. I would never recommend this nursery to anyone.

Management needs to take a look in the mirror as to why staff are leaving. Staff don't just up and leave so it's obviously issues with inept management. Food was freshly made but seems to no longer be that way. We have decided to pull our child out. This again has nothing to do with the core staff as they are left in the dark which at this time of year is heartless. This is simply down to poor management from above. The owners need to have a good look at how they treat staff and improve communication skills with staff and parents alike.

My son loves being at nursery. He talks about his key workers every day at home and can’t wait to see them. The staff in the under 2 room work as a great team, they’re all professional and friendly with a real warmth. I feel the staff understand my son and support me by reinforcing at nursery what I am doing at home e.g. starting toilet training.

My son has been attending The Big Picture Nursery since January and he loves it. He has some additional needs and the nursery have been very good working with me and his dad to help him with some of his issues and he is thriving, we have already seen some small improvements within his social skills and his attempts to speak. The staff are friendly and easy to speak too, the nursery is always clean and welcoming, and there are lots of things for children to engage with and use their imaginations.

Couldn't recommend this nursery enough! If you're looking to take your child to a nursery I highly recommend this one. My daughter was slow on her speech before she joined and now it's improved massively. Staff are very lovely and the care they have for children is amazing. Food is excellent. Like I said if you're looking for a nursery this one is amazing.

Whilst being in lockdown my daughter really missed nursery, she kept talking about her friends and her teachers. Since being back it is has been lovely to see her so happy to be running in to see them all. She comes home every day bursting to tell me what she has been doing and who with. The staff are lovely and really do their best with the children and have their best interests at heart.

My daughter has just started nursery at 8 months old and we absolutely love the big picture. We looked around a lot of nurseries and there is no other like this in Southport. The personal touches for that tearful first day that you have to leave your little one for the first time really made me confident I'd left her with the right people. Every member of staff is lovely and happy to reassure me every time I called. So happy I chose here and already I can see her development rocketing ahead.

Very clean, food is great, overall very good nursery.

Staff are always friendly and welcoming; putting us parents at great ease - I've witnessed my daughter's curiosity in discovering new skills continue to be nurtured here at The Big Picture.

The very calm atmosphere in the reception area is usually much needed after a very rushed morning of getting the 2 of us ready. We are always met by smiling faces and nursery staff that seem to really enjoy their job. Thank you for all you do!

A friendly nursery, the staff are always so lovely, my daughter loves going there and as a mother, I feel confident leaving her, knowing she’s having lots of fun. I would definitely recommend.
