Partou Curiosity Corner Day Nursery & Pre-school

We brought our little boy in when he was 11 months, at first he really struggled and we feared he would not cope. With the help of the amazing staff in the baby room, our boy is now fully integrated in the nursery life and doing so well. The staff has been very helpful in achieving his milestones brilliantly. He looks forward to attending nursery on the days he does. I would recommend Partou a 100%. Staff and manager are an amazing and beautiful bunch. xx

Overall this nursery is perfect. We moved our little boy from a previous nursery he had attended from 9 months old and we were apprehensive he wouldn’t settle. However, we didn’t need to worry he settled right in and the staff made us feel very welcome, my little boy loves attending nursery and will run in with a big smile. We love that they have the big field for the children to run around which is used daily as we have seen on the app that he is out there if not once twice a day, they also have a smaller garden that’s accessible throughout the day too which is amazing for our little boy was he loves being outside. The staff are always on hand to answer any questions we have and give good feedback at the end of the day despite having all the information on the app they will still chat about what my child has done throughout his day. I can’t fault this nursery and would highly recommend it to everyone.

A handful of staff were amazing, others barely spoke when you were trying to drop your child off smoothly - among a list of other things we weren’t happy with. A general lack of care.

Could not recommend this nursery enough! The staff are amazing and always give great advice or guidance! My little boy loves going and is so well looked after, the meals are always well prepared and there is always a good range of different dishes! Would recommend to anyone!

Absolutely brilliant nursery with staff that go above and beyond for each child. My little boy absolutely loves going to nursery and runs in every morning. They have made him feel safe and comfortable to be himself. Always supporting myself and Dad and how we can help him with his additional needs.

I am delighted with my daughter's settling process. Her room (pandas) is set out well and the children always have lots of fun learning opportunities. The staff are friendly, caring and helpful. The digital learning journey is a great way to keep up to date with my daughter's progress. The Big Picture has a wonderful atmosphere which shows in the dedicated staff and management. The food is fresh and tasty and always offers new dishes for the children to try. The outdoor area is fabulous, from sensory gardens and large sand pits to a large grassed field where the children can use a wide range of outdoor equipment. Such as climbing frames, bikes and role-play equipment.

He’s just moved up to the 2-3 room and I can see his confidence glowing from him. The staff here are wonderful and get to know the whole family. It’s so lovely to see my child so settled and at ease, would absolutely recommend it to anyone looking for a nurturing environment for their child.

We moved our daughter from another nursery to The Big Picture Day Nursery due to her previous nursery not meeting her needs. She is autistic. From the minute we visited the nursery, we knew it was where we wanted our daughter to be. The manager and staff were reassuring and kind and worked with us to ensure our daughter’s transition was as smooth as possible, which it was. Our daughter felt safe with the staff straight away and adapted quickly. Any concerns we have are dealt with straight away. We have regular contact with the managers. They have adapted to our daughter’s needs, no questions asked. The children are provided with so much attention and have lots of things to do. I cannot fault the nursery whatsoever. The manager and staff are amazing.

We have recently moved to The Big Picture and we couldn't be happier. The staff are so caring and think of all kinds of fun and educational things to do with the children. The nursery is really well equipped and feels different to other nurseries. The curiosity approach captures the imagination of the children and they have room to thrive. I can't recommend The Big Picture more highly!

My little boy had never been to a nursery before and was shy, since coming to The Big Picture he has really come out of his shell! I’m so thankful to all the ladies that work there, and the ladies in the 0-2 room for helping my little boy develop and grow, it’s a wonderful nursery with a wide range of activities for all ages. I highly recommend sending your child to The Big Picture they will be looked after so well. The food is cooked from scratch by the chef so the children get amazing food, the chef sometimes lets the children join in and bake their own things. The garden facilities for all ages are wonderful the children love going outside. Since the manager has been there the nursery has thrived so much she’s a lovely lady who always puts the children’s needs before anyone. I never have any worries about my little one as I know he’s safe and looked after

After having a not-so-great experience with a local nursery, my wife and I set out to find another nursery for our daughter. We visited a few places, but The Big Picture Nursery stood out to us. The manager showed us around and we could tell, almost instantly, that she genuinely loves her job and the welfare of all children. Her passion and love for the job and natural care for toddlers really stood out. After agreeing this was the correct nursery for our daughter, we have gotten to know the staff more as each week passes, and all of them share the same enthusiasm as the manager for the development of every child. We love the fact they try and raise money for charity, and also they have recently had several events where family members were welcome to take part in the day's activities. Prices are very fair, but in reality, it is the overall care that means the most to us, and not the price. We would 100% recommend it.
