Every room has its own dedicated garden space, meaning all children can enjoy outdoor play safely at the same time. Outdoor learning is a valued part of daily life here, supporting emotional regulation, motor and social skills and growing confidence. The nursery also has a strong relationship with a local forest school, giving children further opportunities to learn and explore in nature.
The long-standing team is one of Partou Footprints' greatest strengths. The Nursery Manager has been at the setting for over 20 years and the Senior Deputy for over seven, providing consistent, high-quality leadership that children, families and team members all benefit from. This was such a relief as a parent to know that your child enjoys going to nursery and has fun throughout the day. I am kept up to date with what my child eats/does throughout the day as well as being told on pick up. The outdoor area is big and has multiple toys/activities to play with. The staff are lovely, kind, caring and efficient on the security side of things with people coming to the nursery which again is reassuring knowing that not just anyone can walk into the nursery. I am glad my child was in Footprints because I couldn't imagine her at any other nursery.

Although it took him a while to settle, I never doubted that he was in the best place with the best staff. All the team in the baby room have been amazing with him, and very patient as he took his time settling in.
In the first week I was extremely upset, and two specific staff members took the time to comfort and reassure me, which was so kind and very much appreciated as a first time mum struggling to leave her baby!
We've recently had a breakthrough and he's now really enjoying his time at nursery! He's developing brilliantly - his progression is so clear to see, all thanks to the staff and the wonderful variety of activities they do.
I'm so grateful that he's in such good hands, and will enjoy watching him grow in such a lovely environment.

My daughter has been coming to Footprints since she was 7 months old, we feel so comfortable dropping her off with the lovely girls in the room. The whole nursery gives us a home from home feeling and my baby has settled in amazingly!

Their patience and kindness made such a difference, not just for him but for us too.
My son has settled so well and loves his time there, the staff give us updates with pictures about what he has been doing and the meals he has (all of which are amazing healthy freshly cooked meals)
