lovely nursery. Very clean and well looked after. Nice variety of toys and a nice little garden. Friendly staff. She loves going there.
As parents, we are kept fully up to date with his progress and know that he is receiving the best possible care whilst we are at work. It is very clear that every member of staff loves children from the teachers to the manager and even the on-site chef (who makes the best food according to my kids!).
We are so pleased we chose Holly Tree for our boys and can definitely see the influence of the Montessori approach in their independence.
Really lovely nursery, exceptional staff and a calm, caring environment. Lots of varied activities on offer and children become really independent within the environment. Both of my children attend here, and have always been really happy.
Thank you Holly Tree from the bottom of our hearts!
We have been with Hollytree for nearly 3 years now and currently have 2 children in the baby room and preschool. Judging by the popularity of the nursery now I feel very blessed to have been able to obtain a space! Across the board, we have felt supported by Hollytree from the information given at handover to the events they put on. I know that my kids are totally in good hands. Every staff member is warm and kind, greeting you with a lovely smile at the end of the day despite probably being tired after running around after our little tikes all day. They really get to know my children even the staff members who aren't in the same classroom as they are. I know that my eldest is going to be very sad to leave the comfort of Hollytree and into the arms of 'real' school but the nursery has given her every bit of confidence to take that big leap holding her head up. I'm going to be very emotional myself when they have the little preschool graduation ceremony!!!
My son attends Holly Tree nursery and my eldest son also attended this nursery before going to school. We feel comforted and reassured he is in safe hands, as the staff are all very friendly and the nursery has a homely feel. He knows a lot of the team working there and they often visit different rooms to ensure the children become familiar with the different staff members. My son can be a little shy in the morning but he always gets a big hug to help him settle in for the day. We also love the extracurricular activities he does including Spanish lessons, which he really enjoys and looks forward to. There is regular communication via the parents' app, which we like to update at home so he can share his experiences at nursery and then be supported accordingly. It’s lovely to read about what he has been doing all day and see his progress and watch him developing lots of skills completing the work cycle exercises and playing in the beautiful garden.
My daughter had been at another nursery prior to coming to Holly Tree. It was full up and I can see why it is so popular. Holly Tree is worlds apart from other nurseries. It's homely, calm and creates a wonderful nurturing environment for the children. The children go outside every day. Play in the mud and stare at the 'aeroplanes'. As a working parent, it's such a wrench sending your child to a nursery. But I feel so happy knowing my daughter will be looked after in a calm and caring environment. This really puts my mind at ease when I'm in work. I receive daily emails from the management team and they are very engaging with parents. Thank you all.
Both my children have attended Holly Tree and I cannot recommend the nursery enough. It is a small nursery where the staff are professional, kind, warm and dedicated with excellent knowledge of all the children in the nursery. The Montessori curriculum is the golden thread woven through all of the nursery rooms and facilitated by the Montessori expert teachers. The staff are experienced and have ongoing professional development. Both our children have flourished at the nursery and are extremely independent with extremely curious minds as a result. We love that the children get to go outside in all weathers and explore the fantastic outside space. It truly is a superb nursery.
From the moment I visited Holly Tree, I knew it was the nursery for us. It’s welcoming and friendly approach really put me at ease. We had settling in sessions and regular updates which meant I was comfortable leaving my daughter even though she was the youngest they had at the nursery at the time.
My daughter has had such a great experience at Holly Tree, I really believe it has helped her learning and social skills develop. I particularly like the themed weeks that they do, which means the activities are all about a certain topic. You can tell a lot of thought goes into the activities the children do, which is again very reassuring.
The approach is very professional and the management team and staff always are looking for ways of improving the nursery which is very positive.
My 10month old started here recently and being as any other nervous mum, it’s made me so happy to see how well he has been cared for in his settle days. The staff have been so helpful and informative, it’s really put my mind at ease for him starting full time!
I have nothing but high praise for the excellent care and compassion the nursery staff at Holly Tree provide to all the children and families. I feel my daughter has achieved so much in the two and a half years that she has been there. The staff are warm, knowledgeable, fun and use the Montessori teaching method, which has really suited my little girl who has grown into a confident, mature 3-year-old, couldn't recommend the nursery enough.
Our girls love coming to Holly Tree. The facilities and staff are amazing and the attention the children receive is wonderful. My girls have only been going a few months, but there is a marked improvement in their speech and independence already.
Cannot recommend highly enough!
My daughter attends Holly Tree in the Pre-School class (aged 3). She's been there since the age of 1. My other daughter attended Holly Tree also and our son will start next year. We've always been impressed with the nursery, but in the last 6 to 12 months it has continued to go from strength to strength. There is great investment in the nursery, in terms of staff development/training, outside space and new initiatives. The staff are great and welcoming and updates are provided on Tapestry and a private Facebook page. The children are genuinely happy and enjoy going there. We didn't choose Holly Tree because it's a Montessori nursery, but the style of teaching develops independence and concentration in the children and gives them manners, patience and other life skills they will need in the transition to school. It's a safe environment and there is an in-house chef who cooks healthy meals for the kids. I'd recommend it to anyone and the Ofsted ratings and other reviews speak for themselves.
This outstanding nursery is welcoming and friendly, with a calm atmosphere and a brilliant team. There dedication and care is fantastic with a strong sense of community and independence!
I can't say enough good about this nursery. From the moment we met the staff everyone has been great. Our little boy is very happy and well looked after. Food is excellent and the staff are very friendly and clearly have great pride in their work.
I am so impressed by the staff at this amazing nursery. I feel like they really care about my son and myself and his dad. They care about the individual children and their family's to such a degree that they go out of their way to help support in any way they can. On my son's first day, the wonderful managers sat with me and discussed in detail any worries I may have had about my son's needs and our home life that I came away thinking I had known them years! And by the end of my son's first session, they had emailed his Pediatrician to follow up on some impending appointments that were needed for him. I love all of the staff, they are incredible at what they do. My son LOVES going to nursery, he asks me to take him every day without fail. I cannot stress enough how much support these wonderful ladies give. And their understanding of child development is unprecedented. I wish I had taken my son at an earlier age. I will definitely be taking my second child when I eventually have another!
My daughter can't wait to get up the steps and knock on the door which is testament to how happy she is there. The atmosphere is always calm and peaceful which must be so hard to achieve with all those children but somehow the staff manage it! There are also great extracurricular courses and social events organised which many of the staff attend and this does not go unappreciated. Well done everyone!
I have recommended Holly Tree Montessori nursery to several friends, who share my appreciation of this excellent nursery. The resources are the very best, thoughtfully provided and a programme of care and education is delivered by a passionate and highly qualified team. As a parent, you feel that staff really care and that Holly Tree provides more than just a place to leave your children whilst you work. My son has recently left Holly Tree and is very confident and capable and extremely prepared for Primary School, thanks to the support and help from Holly Tree.
This nursery has a small, community feel, where parents feel involved with the nursery and the children are valued individually.
The team and resources at this nursery are outstanding, and staff go above and beyond showing an impressive passion and experience in Montessori child care and education.
Our daughter absolutely loves this nursery. Every day I pick her up she is having a great time so that's good enough for me! I love the fact that the nursery is smallish and so friendly and staff know all the children even if they are not in their class. I chose this nursery because everything about it makes it instantly warm and welcoming plus the outdoor space is brilliant. I really like the fact the children go outdoors whatever the weather. Our daughter has really flourished since being at Holly Tree which I credit to the committed staff and ethos of the company.
