Holly Tree Montessori

Our little boy absolutely loves going to this nursery! As parents, we’re often asked which setting he attends, as he’s a capable, independent, confident and verbal 2 year old. We can’t thank the wonderful staff at Holly Tree Day Nursery for developing these skills with him. There is good communication from staff and use of the app and social allow us as parents to stay in the loop with our little man’s daily adventures and progress! Since he joined them, around two years ago, our little boy has always felt secure and happy at nursery and we’ve had incredible support from staff. We’ve been especially happy that they’ve made such an inclusive environment for our two-mum family with things like family basket photos, books and a general strive to meet all of our little man’s needs. I would highly recommend this nursery and can vouch first-hand for how brilliantly its Montessori practices impact on children's development. Most of all though, our little boy is happy!

My little boy started in the baby room at 17 months and is now in class 3 having just turned 3. It has taken him a while to settle and adjust in to each room he has transitioned to but the staff have always fully supported him throughout the move and communicated with us amazingly to ensure he is happy and content. He absolutely loves nursery and mentions the staff by name at home and recently asked to come to nursery on the weekend! We get regular updates through Tapestry on his learning and development and the staff regularly update the Facebook page with activities they have been doing each day. The communication from management is regular and I receive weekly emails about what's going on in the nursery. This always includes updates on staff changes which helps keep us familiar with the staff at nursery. They also regularly host LPPA meetings & offer other courses to support parents around different topics such as speech & language or behaviour. We couldn't ask for a better nursery!

Both our children (3 1/2 and 1 year old) go to Holly Tree Montessori and we’re extremely happy with the education and care they receive. Staff are knowledgeable and attentive and they take the children’s early years education seriously.

We have been using this nursery for approx 8 years now. Whilst there have been lots of changes they are all for the better and the desire to constantly improve an already outstanding setting. The environment is clean, modern and bright. The atmosphere is calm and purposeful and the work cycle activities are well thought out and relevant to the needs of the children based in that room. The staff are extremely professional and considerate. I wouldn’t hesitate recommending this nursery to any potential parents.

When I was looking for a nursery for my son, there was no doubt where I wanted him to go after reading about Holly Tree Montessori. They have exceeded my expectations from their excellent reputation. My son loves going to nursery and is always super happy when he is there. He is very well cared for and engages in lots of fun learning activities. The nursery has top facilities, including a well resourced indoor and outdoor space including a sensory room which my son loves! We are vegetarian and all meals are varied and nutritious. Staff are outstanding and in my experience go above and beyond what is expected. Each day, pictures/videos are uploaded to the private Facebook group where I can see what my son is up to in the day. I’ve always found the staff to be friendly and professional. Due to Covid-19 restrictions, I have little experience of seeing first hand the facilities but I am regularly updated by email with new activities added to my child’s room. I appreciated the feedback given at the parent's evening and was given lots of information on provisions put in place to help my child develop. I’m very satisfied with the level of care and communication provided by Holly Tree Montessori.

Our second child is currently attending Holly Tree Montessori. I love the place and have referred lots of friends to them, and they all love the place too. I like the fact that the classes aren't huge, they are nice and small, so not overwhelming for the child, and the staff can spend more quality time with them. All the staff know all the children. The nursery has been really accommodating if I ever need extra days, and really supportive if we need extra help. I don't think we could have got any better. Both my children have had a great start and will be leaving full of confidence and independence and ready for school.

Holly Tree Montessori is a fantastic nursery! They were there for my son who is now 8-years old and my daughter currently attends and is starting school in September. They have been so well looked after and have thrived! They learn so easily and organically with the Montessori method. The settling in process is very good as well. I'm always kept up to date with the online app system, and it's lovely to see what they've been up to. I almost wish I had a third child to send here as it's going to be very sad when my daughter finishes this year!

My daughter started last year in the baby room and is now in C2. She absolutely loves coming to nursery and has come on so much, she mastered the Montessori coat flip before the age of two! The resources and experiences she takes part in are so beneficial to her learning. A fantastic nursery!

Our daughter is thriving at Holly Tree Montessori Nursery particularly after lockdown. She is excited to talk to us about her day at nursery and has built some amazing friendships. The staff are excellent and always available to answer any questions. I believe communication to be key and this has always impressed me. Keep up the great work.

I can't praise Holly Tree Montessori enough. We found Holly Tree Montessori when searching for a Montessori specific nursery local to our home/work. He started in the baby room nearly a year and a half ago and settled within a matter of hours. The staff are warm and friendly, and encourage little ones to explore their interests in detail through 'work cycle'. My little boy literally runs into nursery every day. He has genuine, close bonds with his key workers and we get regular, detailed updates on his development. We also can keep track of how he's getting on during the day through pictures on the private Facebook group - often messy and sensory play that my little one loves. Food is well prepared in house too and often my little one will have several servings in one sitting. Working full time, it's really important to me that my children are in a setting that will not only challenge them and help them grow, but somewhere that feels like a home from home. Holly Tree Montessori is the ideal setting for this!

Our daughter started at Holly Tree Montessori at the age of 10 months and they did a fab job of helping her settle in after the tricky lockdown period in which she hadn't been around many other children (or indeed many people outside the immediate family). It's great to see updates throughout the day on the private Facebook group and to have more structured updates via Tapestry also. The staff are always friendly and welcoming and seem to really know our daughter and understand how she responds to different learning opportunities and challenges. Also the food sounds way better than what we manage to make at home!

My daughter has been at Holly Tree Montessori since May 2019 and will be leaving at the end of August to head off to big school. The years at Holly Tree Montessori have been one of the best decisions we have made for her. Although the youngest in the year, we feel she is more than ready for the next big step of starting school. They’ve worked so hard to ensure she is prepared for what the next stage will bring, while still being incredibly caring and a home from home for her. Our choice to send her to Holly Tree will be one of the starts we could have given to her and will miss everyone there when she leaves in August.

Our experience with Holly Tree Montessori has been extremely positive. Since attending, my daughter has come on leaps and bounds. Her days include a great combination of structured and fun activities, which always have a real-life application. The staff are friendly and professional and offer feedback and updates regularly. We would certainly recommend Holly Tree Montessori to any other parents looking for childcare.

Our son had been struggling, both emotionally and mentally at his previous nursery but we hadn’t realised just how much until he’s been cared for by Holly Tree Montessori. What has been a difficult start, is now blossoming into wonderful progress and the light in our son is starting to shine for all to see. We have the team work with us so that our son receives 100-percent support and the staff listens to us and to what our son needs. There’s mutual respect, with is very much appreciated.

My little boy has attended this nursery since he was nine months old and he absolutely loves it. He has progressed so much over the last two years and it is thanks to the staff at Holly Tree Montessori. They always plan thoughtful activities and follow the child's interests. This last month has been difficult as my son has struggled with adapting to preschool, with it being a much bigger class. The staff have taken the time to ensure he settles well, by creating a bear hunt display near the entry of the room that he could engage with and make going to the room more fun. They also made sure he interacted with the children by taking "travelling ted" home so he could come to preschool with stories about his adventures. Four weeks later and he loves preschool! No more tears. I'm so happy we chose Holly Tree Montessori.

I cannot speak highly enough of Holly Tree Montessori. They have helped manage the stressful time of settling a child in nursery so well and my daughter now loves every second of nursery. The activities they plan for the children are thoughtful and varied and we can really see the development in our child's confidence since going.

Our daughter started at age 1 and after lockdown I felt very upset at the thought of her starting nursery and that our bubble was ending. We had a few questions and queries that were professionally and efficiently handled by the manager, we found her to be extremely approachable and understanding in our situation and concerns we had at the time. She made us feel at ease and went above and beyond in making us feel comfortable. We find the whole team at Holly Tree Montessori warm and welcoming, they develop a strong rapport with parents and in turn we then feel confident in their ability to deliver a very high and consistent level of childcare. We wouldn't send our daughter anywhere else.

My son has had his first few induction days and the staff have been fantastic with him. They've helped settle him in super quickly and he now loves talking about nursery with me and his auntie. We can't wait until next week when he starts fully - he's going to do fantastic here I can just tell.
