My daughter absolutely loves The New Village Nursery, as do I. From the moment I walked into the setting back in 2018, I knew this is where I wanted my daughter to be.
The staff are extremely friendly and show my daughter care, kindness and support. I feel so lucky that my daughter runs into nursery
each day with excitement. I never have to worry about leaving her whilst I go to work.
The things she learns on a day to day basis is wonderful and it surprises me at the information she absorbs.
The staff are really approachable and nothing is too much trouble.
I’m that happy with the nursery that I plan on sending my son in February 2021.
Thanks to the manager and all the girls who are just fabulous!

I could not be happier with the care and attention my daughter receives at The New Village Nursery. My daughter has been attending since she was 9 months old and has always loved it.
My daughter is always stimulated by the activities put on by staff. You can really see the great relationships between
staff and children and see how passionate and devoted they are to their roles.
My daughter is leaving soon which I am very sad about, so a big thank you for taking such good care of my little princess! I will be recommending you to anyone looking for an exceptional nursery! Thanks again ladies - you're all stars!

I have been very happy with the nursery.
The staff have always been very pleasant and helpful.
They gave me information daily about what my child had been doing and addressed a concern I had about my child immediately.
The classroom environment was always clean and set out with activities.
The meals
seemed to be good and my child always came home full and satisfied.
I would recommend this nursery.

This is a great childcare setting.
The staff have really helped my daughter come out of her shell and gain confidence.
The nursery seems clean and has a lot of resources.
The food is healthy and good for all children, my daughter has eaten everything put in front of her, which we wouldn't have done
before starting here.
The level of learning, especially in the preschool room, is very good. Improving speech and social skills in every way.

We have found the staff very supportive, kind and caring.
They have fulfilled our requirement for care for our son and 100% more.
They have intellectually stimulated our son, learning maths, English
and science through play.

Our kids have really settled well at nursery and we can tell they are learning a lot of things. They enjoy the food at home more since they have started nursery and they are very good eaters. The staff are all very lovely too, we have twins and they always help out with taking them into the nursery
or to our car.

My daughter attends the New Village Nursery and she enjoys her time here. She was at another nursery before coming here and moving her was the best decision made. All of the management and staff are always happy to help and always make you feel welcome from the moment you enter the door. You can tell
that everybody here works well as a team as there is always a warm atmosphere.

New Village Nursery is a great place for my son. He learns so much and has lots of fun with the staff and other kids. The staff are fantastic, encouraging, interaction and learning amongst all kids and they certainly care about each child as if they were there own. Could not recommend this place highly

We are so pleased with the progress our children have made since joining The New Village Nursery. All the staff are welcoming and helpful. They always have time to let you know about the day and if there are any questions or concerns. We would highly recommend The New Village Nursery. The time, effort
and support they give to the children is brilliant. Our children love the activities they partake in at the nursery. We love the extra effort that goes in to make the children learning fun and enjoyable.

My son has been going to this nursery since he was 17 months, he is now 3 years old and he has been in every room in the nursery. The staff are all friendly, lovely, helpful and my son likes all the staff and enjoys coming to nursery every day. My son is due to leave soon to go to "school nursery",
I know my son will be upset and will sadly miss the nursery and everybody who works there and his friends he's made. I want to say a massive thank you.

Overall very happy with this nursery and the children are happy to go. I will be using the nursery and facilities during the school summer holidays and I am very impressed with the forthcoming arranged events and activities for that time period. Overall staff and management are very approachable and
helpful; one or two of the younger members of staff could just do with being a little bit more 'smiley' and 'happy' on welcoming small children into the nursery: other than that I would definitely recommend this nursery.

My 5-year-old has been here for the school holidays, the amenities are great (good outdoor space and plenty of age-appropriate toys) the staff are lovely, yet professional and prices very competitive.

What I do like is children are taken out so it's not "the same old same old" for them.

There

have been some staff changes for the better, my little boy has really enjoyed himself this time. Full marks to the staff for making his stay a pleasurable one.

Current Review Score: 9.9 (9.850)

Overview of Review Score

The Review Score of 9.9 (9.850) out of 10 for Village Nursery is based on a) the Average Rating and b) the number of positive Reviews.

  1. The Average Rating is 4.9 out of 5 from 29 Reviews in the last 24 months.
  2. The score for the number of positive Reviews is 5.0 out of 5 from 28 positive Reviews in the last 24 months.

Detailed Breakdown of Review Score

The maximum Review Score for a Day Nursery is 10, which is made up from the Average Rating of Reviews (maximum of 5 points) and the Number of Reviews (maximum of 5 points) in the last 24 months:

  1. 5 Points are available for the Average Rating from all Reviews in the last 24 months. The Average Rating of 4.850 for Village Nursery is calculated as follows: ( (296 Excellents x 5) + (48 Goods x 4) + (2 Satisfactorys x 3) ) ÷ 346 Ratings = 4.85
  2. 5 Points are available for the number of Positive Reviews in the last 24 months. A Positive Review is defined as any Review with an 'Overall Experience' of '4' or '5' (out of a max rating '5'). The 5 Points relating to the number of positive Reviews for Village Nursery is based on 28 positive Reviews in the last 24 months and is calculated as per below:

The 5 points available are broken down as follows:

    1. 4 points are available for the first 20 Positive Reviews in the last 24 months; 3 points for the first Positive Review, 0.125 Points for each of the next four Positive Reviews, 0.05 Points for the next five Positive Reviews, and finally 0.025 Points for the next ten Positive Reviews. (1st = 3.000, 2nd = 0.125, 3rd = 0.125, 4th = 0.125, 5th = 0.125, 6th = 0.050, 7th = 0.050, 8th = 0.050, 9th = 0.050, 10th = 0.050, 11th = 0.025, 12th = 0.025, 13th = 0.025, 14th = 0.025, 15th = 0.025, 16th = 0.025, 17th = 0.025, 18th = 0.025, 19th = 0.025, 20th = 0.025) 3 + 0.125 + 0.125 + 0.125 + 0.125 + 0.05 + 0.05 + 0.05 + 0.05 + 0.05 + 0.025 + 0.025 + 0.025 + 0.025 + 0.025 + 0.025 + 0.025 + 0.025 + 0.025 + 0.025 = 4
    2. 1 point is available for the number of Positive Reviews reaching 20% of the number of registered child places in the last 24 months. If this number is partially reached, then that proportion of 1 point is given. eg a Day Nursery registered for a maximum of 50 child places has to reach 10 Positive Reviews to receive 1 point, if it has 7 reviews it will receive 0.7 points. 20% of the 65 number of registered child places is 13, which has been reached with 28 Positive reviews. Points = 1
  3. When a Review is submitted by someone who has previously submitted a Review, only the latest Review will count towards the Review Score.
  4. If a Day Nursery does not have a review in the last 24 months, then it will not have a Review Score.
