Village Nursery

My son's nursery closed down and I was anxious about sending him somewhere new, due to his additional needs, but I couldn’t have chosen a better nursery. The staff are friendly and welcoming and are all so good with the children. Nothing is too much trouble. My son loves coming to nursery!

My son seems to have really come along with some of his milestones since he's been attending. Also, I feel like they've identified where he was a little behind and helped him improve in these areas. He's also improved on his eating and seems to be eating a lot more variety than I've ever been able to get him to at home. Every morning, when we're walking in, my son is smiling before he's even seen any of the staff members and always gives whoever answers the door a big grin. I'm very confident that he's happy there. I also like the fact that they seem to spend a lot of time outdoors and whenever I go, there are kids playing outside. All in all, my baby has been attending for around three months now, and I have had no complaints and am very happy with our experience thus far.

Noticed that my child is very happy every time she comes home from nursery. She started to talk about playing different activities outside with other children. I also noticed that her confidence has built up, interacting with other children and staff. The staff are brilliant and very polite. They are a good role model for our children.

Amazing, friendly and accommodating nursery. Always understand and able to help and explain anything that is needed. My daughter has learnt and progressed a lot since attending and we are very happy with her progress.

Our Daughter has come on leaps and bounds since joining the Village Nursery. All the staff are lovely and are great with her. Even on days when she is teething, they know how to comfort her. They are fantastic with giving us updates via the app throughout the day which gives us peace of mind that our daughter is happy and content. I would definitely recommend the Village Nursery to anyone thinking of applying for their child.

My 3 year old daughter attended this nursery over the past few months and she absolutely loved it, the staff are lovely and help in every way they can. She loved the staff and all the activities they would also do with her. I also liked that they sent you regular updates via the app of what your child is doing. Would recommend this nursery to anyone that was looking to send their child/children here.

My son hasn’t been at the Village Nursery for long but already we have seen him develop so much and feel a big part of that is down to his time at nursery. The Village Nursery seem to offer numerous different activities to stimulate the children and it’s really nice having regular observations to see how our little one is doing. Additionally, the staff are all really supportive and accommodating of any requests we have.

My son is in his last year at nursery and has attended this nursery since he was 9 months old, and we couldn't have picked a better nursery. The staff are friendly, professional and go beyond the call of duty for not only the children, but the parents as well, especially during Covid times. My son loves the staff and the setting. He has learnt so much from attending here. I would recommend here to anyone. I will be sad when September comes around and he has to move on, as will he.

Excellent nursery, in a great location, and amazing staff. The staff are so approachable, professional and amazing at their jobs. My daughter absolutely loves going to nursery and has flourished since starting. She enjoys going every time. Every day we get updates on what they have been up to and the activities the staff think of are remarkable. I am so grateful to all the staff and the amazing job they do of helping our children develop.

This is the third nursery I've tried, as my two children used to always cry going to nursery. The village in Lees is the only nursery I've taken them where they aren't having to be peeled off me and taken in crying. My kids love it here and now my eldest even does the afterschool club because she loves it.

My daughter who’s 3 years old enjoys going to nursery every day, learns a lot and does so many different activities in the day. Brilliant staff, brilliant nursery, my son also attended this nursery from 6 months old to 4 years old and loved it too.

My child really enjoys going to this nursery. Each day he comes home and positively talks about the day he’s just had. Staff are helpful and always work through any issues well. The environment is clean and secure. I would highly recommend!

The Village is absolutely brilliant for my son. He loves going to nursery every day. The staff are so committed, welcoming, and go above and beyond. We receive regular updates on how he's getting on and the activities they plan for the children are excellent. I'm so happy with my choice and would wholeheartedly recommend The Village to anyone!

Both my children are at the Village Nursery. It is an excellent nursery and we are very happy with it, as are our children. The staff are amazing and treat your child like their own. The building itself is great with lots for the kids to do both inside and in the outdoor area. They update on each child via the app religiously throughout the day. The food they give is great too and they actually get my son to eat it, which is more than what we can do at home! We love it here and our children will both be going until they are in school, even then we will be utilising the out of school clubs because we love it so much.

My child enjoys going to nursery and very clearly enjoys her days there. I am confident that she is safe, happy and well cared for while at nursery. She tells me about what she has been doing with a smile. Since starting at nursery her confidence has grown so much which has been brilliant to see.

My daughter (and myself) absolutely love this nursery. In fact, she cries when I go to pick her up! She has made close relationships with the staff members, which is lovely to see. The staff and manager, are very personable and warm. Nothing is too much trouble for them and they genuinely enjoy their job, which makes it much easier and more comforting for a parent, to know she is going into a positive environment. I love keeping track of my daughter’s day on the app and receiving posts from the nursery relating to the activities she is doing and how that relates to her early learning.

My Grandson attends four days a week and is with a very lovely staff member. I love how enthusiastic she is, she obviously cares for the children in her care and my grandson absolutely adores her. The app keeps me up-to date with everything he’s doing and how he’s getting on. I was a little uneasy about him going to nursery at only 9 months old but on my collect days, I see how happy and settled he is. He learns something new every day and is taken excellent care of. All the staff are very friendly, especially the nursery manager who always has a smile at the door and they all know exactly who I am there to collect. At collect, I’m told everything about his day and it’s obvious he’s enjoyed himself doing activities he would be unlikely to do at home. I would happily recommend this nursery to anybody looking for a warm, safe, fun and educational environment for their children.

Children love going to nursery, have lots of fun and very happy when learning new things. The staff are lovely and friendly.

I am happy that my child has settled in very well, and he loves the nursery. This is all because of the wonderful staff, friendly, caring approach and care that is given to the children.
