I cannot recommend this nursery highly enough. The love, care, and genuine warmth the staff show my child means more to me than words can say. They nurture his development with such patience and kindness, and it truly shows in his confidence and happiness. He absolutely loves going to nursery and beams
with the biggest smile every single time we arrive, which fills my heart with so much reassurance. Knowing he is so well looked after gives me complete peace of mind, and I am always kept informed about his progress and wellbeing. Nothing is ever too much to ask, and the care they provide goes far beyond expectations - I am so grateful to have found such a wonderful, supportive nursery.

The experience I've had soo far let me realise that Michild village nursery is a good nursery with high quality of service. And they all work in a team to take good care of the children. In terms of learning they are top notch, in terms of care there they take of the children equally, in terms of there
hygiene they are soo neat and abide in good hygiene, which helps the health of the children.

My daughter has been attending Village Nursery for almost 2 years and I cannot honestly express how much she has developed throughout. She has really opened up in terms of her social skills, always wanting to communicate with new friends. Loves attending everyday, she implements a lot of what she learns
at home including vocabulary, manners, activities etc. I am really happy with the progress she has made, staff are very understanding and polite to approach. The Manager is doing a great job with management, a big thank you. We will definitely miss Village Nursery and 100% recommend to working parents.

My son started at the Village Nursery this year which I chose this nursery down to hearing only amazing things & over the past few months that he has been there for, it has been impeccable. The girls / staff are absolutely fantastic, they make my son feel extremely comfortable & everyone is really hands
on & just so lovely! I always feel so at ease leaving him there knowing that he is in the best of hands & I cannot stress enough just how much he has come along with his milestones as well as his confidence since starting there. Thank you so much to everyone at the Village Nursery

My little girl absolutely loves coming to nursery. She has made a lovely bond with the staff in her room but is also familiar and comfortable with other staff members too. Her confidence and development has continued to grow since coming to nursery.
She has food interolerances which is always catered
for, she's given dairy/egg free choices whilst also not missing out on what her friends are having.
I love getting updates and pictures on the app so I can see what she's been up to and also receive a detailed handover at the end of each day.
Thank you to the staff at the nursery for providing a caring and nurturing environment for my little girl to thrive.

My little girl started Village Nursery in January and I couldn't be happier! She has come on so much in such a short space of time with her language, she absolutely loves coming to nursery in a morning to be happily greeted by all the staff. Her key worker takes time to plan activities around my daughters
interests and i love to see the pictures at the end of the day!

Current Review Score: 9.9 (9.850)

Overview of Review Score

The Review Score of 9.9 (9.850) out of 10 for Village Nursery is based on a) the Average Rating and b) the number of positive Reviews.

  1. The Average Rating is 4.9 out of 5 from 29 Reviews in the last 24 months.
  2. The score for the number of positive Reviews is 5.0 out of 5 from 28 positive Reviews in the last 24 months.

Detailed Breakdown of Review Score

The maximum Review Score for a Day Nursery is 10, which is made up from the Average Rating of Reviews (maximum of 5 points) and the Number of Reviews (maximum of 5 points) in the last 24 months:

  1. 5 Points are available for the Average Rating from all Reviews in the last 24 months. The Average Rating of 4.850 for Village Nursery is calculated as follows: ( (296 Excellents x 5) + (48 Goods x 4) + (2 Satisfactorys x 3) ) ÷ 346 Ratings = 4.85
  2. 5 Points are available for the number of Positive Reviews in the last 24 months. A Positive Review is defined as any Review with an 'Overall Experience' of '4' or '5' (out of a max rating '5'). The 5 Points relating to the number of positive Reviews for Village Nursery is based on 28 positive Reviews in the last 24 months and is calculated as per below:

The 5 points available are broken down as follows:

    1. 4 points are available for the first 20 Positive Reviews in the last 24 months; 3 points for the first Positive Review, 0.125 Points for each of the next four Positive Reviews, 0.05 Points for the next five Positive Reviews, and finally 0.025 Points for the next ten Positive Reviews. (1st = 3.000, 2nd = 0.125, 3rd = 0.125, 4th = 0.125, 5th = 0.125, 6th = 0.050, 7th = 0.050, 8th = 0.050, 9th = 0.050, 10th = 0.050, 11th = 0.025, 12th = 0.025, 13th = 0.025, 14th = 0.025, 15th = 0.025, 16th = 0.025, 17th = 0.025, 18th = 0.025, 19th = 0.025, 20th = 0.025) 3 + 0.125 + 0.125 + 0.125 + 0.125 + 0.05 + 0.05 + 0.05 + 0.05 + 0.05 + 0.025 + 0.025 + 0.025 + 0.025 + 0.025 + 0.025 + 0.025 + 0.025 + 0.025 + 0.025 = 4
    2. 1 point is available for the number of Positive Reviews reaching 20% of the number of registered child places in the last 24 months. If this number is partially reached, then that proportion of 1 point is given. eg a Day Nursery registered for a maximum of 50 child places has to reach 10 Positive Reviews to receive 1 point, if it has 7 reviews it will receive 0.7 points. 20% of the 65 number of registered child places is 13, which has been reached with 28 Positive reviews. Points = 1
  3. When a Review is submitted by someone who has previously submitted a Review, only the latest Review will count towards the Review Score.
  4. If a Day Nursery does not have a review in the last 24 months, then it will not have a Review Score.
