Village Nursery itself is a fun and bright environment and I think it provides the background for effective learning. Staff members are very approachable.
Village Nursery is a very caring environment, always encouraging the children to eat all their lunches. I am very pleased with my daughter's overall progress.
My daughter loved her time at the nursery. The staff in both of the rooms she was in, were absolutely brilliant with her and made her feel so comfortable and welcomed. She has learnt so much in her time there. An absolutely fantastic nursery!
The girls wholeheartedly put every effort into their care, going above and beyond any expectation.
The impression they have made is something I will never forget. My key person was amazing, meeting her at my home visit for the first time was quite nerve racking, but I knew from that moment I could put my trust in her to care for my son. Over the past 6 months I quite simply couldn't have asked for any more from her.
My son is now 18 months and moving up into toddlers, although I will very much miss my key person and the girls in babies, I already can't wait to see how he develops even further.
The entire team at The Village always go out of their way to ensure that they can do their absolute best for you.
I would absolutely recommend this nursery to anyone looking for the best!
As a parent, I know not everyday will be a perfect day so being honest with a parent is one of the most assuring things you can do. The nursery really listen and understand. So for example if your trying a new sleeping pattern or potty training the staff really support you which makes it so much easier for you. I would definitely recommend this nursery. They do so many activities with them and they learn so much and make lots of friends. Such a lovely place!
Sending your baby off to the nursery can be daunting – not just for your child, but also for you as a parent. When my maternity leave came to an end, I was dreading my daughter starting nursery, but The Village helped make the transition easy for us both.
My daughter has now been at The Village for close to a year and loves it. Her confidence has grown, and she has learnt so much. She loves her toddler room and is excited to be dropped off in the morning. It’s so lovely to pick up a happy but tired little girl at the end of the day and to hear what she’s been up to.
The staff at The Village really do go the extra mile to ensure that the children and their parents feel welcome and comfortable. As a mum, it’s so important for me to know that my daughter is not only getting the best level of care but also that she’s having fun and trusts the people looking after her.
I would certainly recommend The Village to friends looking for somewhere to send their child.
As my children attend full time, the parent stay and play sessions have been so lovely to attend as it is a chance for me to really immerse myself in "their world". I just wish I could stay too!
My son attended the Village Nursery from the age of 9 months until he left to go to school. During his time at the nursery, I cannot fault the care, support and nurturing he received. The nursery made us welcome from day one with their rigorous settling in processes, the opportunities to share his experiences through stay and play sessions and nursery events and the careful consideration for his development. My son enjoyed his time in each age appropriate room and the staff really cared both for and about him. The well-resourced rooms ensured there was plenty of things to engage him and the planned activities were tailored to suit his needs. The outdoor space is amazing and enabled him to learn and experience lots of different things such as planting and growing fruit and vegetables. I cannot recommend The Village Nursery highly enough.
My son started here when he was 10 months old! It was daunting for me but the staff at the nursery made it so welcoming and friendly for me to stay calm on his first day. Ever since his first day, my son runs into the nursery and never wants to come out. Definitely one of the best nurseries I've been to. He enjoys every minute of his day and all the staff are lovely.
My daughter has been attending The Village Nursery for more than a year now, her settling in period was handled really well, and before I know it, she was running in for some cuddles with her favourite key person. At the beginning she wasn't speaking a lot, but with the support of the practitioners in her room and their personalised approach in planning next steps for her, she started slowly pronouncing single words, then two word phrases and now speaks freely about all topics she likes. The environments in the nursery are all very inviting and all activities I hear about, that she has taken part in are all very unique. My little girl really enjoys going to The Village Nursery and gets really excited telling me about all the different things she has learnt or explored on the day. The events and the ways the nursery involves me in my daughter's nursery life are outstanding and I really feel involved in my little girl's education.
My grandson was always happy; he had wonderfully healthy food; amazing educational opportunities and most important of all a superbly supportive environment. As a grandmother, I was made to feel welcome and I was always kept up to date with his progress. Each member of staff goes above and beyond and they form wonderful bonds with the children. The whole family will miss the nursery.
This to me is a testament that she feels safe, secure, happy and content. For any working parent, this eases my mind to know that she experiences these feelings. After all their happiness in paramount and The Village promote this attitude too.
What I am constantly amazed at is all the staff know all the children's names even if they haven't looked after that child, this too adds to the 'family' feel.
Our time at The Village is drawing to a close, a time of reflection and affection and we'll remember with fondness.
Excellent nursery with outstanding facilities, used this nursery over the last ten years and always had professional staff and excellent manager. Children are always very happy and both my children have been given so many opportunities to grow and learn.
My daughter has attended The Village Nursery since she was 15 months old, she has recently graduated as is starting school. The Village is a great nursery and the staff are amazing. Each key worker we had helped so much with her progression. My daughter is a funny confident little girl and I thank the nursery for helping with that. Any problems we have had have been sorted straight away I am currently on maternity leave with my 2nd daughter and she will most definitely attend The Village.
It was extremely stressful choosing a nursery but after the initial visit at The Village Nursery I was so sure this is where I wanted my daughter to be. Management and staff are extremely friendly and charming. Each room my daughter has been in there has been a strong bond with her key workers and I feel her development has been tailored to her needs. I love the fact the nursery is all one level and the outdoor space is great. I commend the staff with all the projects, parents events and nursery functions that are created. I think the nursery cook does a fantastic job and is innovative with different meals and it gives me a peace of mind to know that meals are prepared freshly on site on a daily basis. I feel my daughter's language skills have increased immensely and her transition out of nappies has been smooth thanks to all the staff. She doesn't stop talking about her day, the staff and her friends. I truly appreciate what the nursery has done and I wouldn't have it any different.
I had a visit to The village nursery a year and half ago for our duo. I was quite impressed with the very first visit as this nursery, as I thought, that this is the right place where my kids can get enough place to play both in-door and out-door, have on-site cooked food and be in the hands of some caring staff. As time passed, I found the staff actually got involved in individual child care depending on the need. The staff are very friendly and they are ready to do anything for a child's development. The wide range of activities that they plan actually are amazing as sometimes they go over their daily schedule to address the needs. I have seen how my duo has grown positively in a childcare environment. Although a bit expensive but I have now developed a family bond with this nursery and I value their suggestions for my kids. I thank the Village Nursery at Trafford for taking care of my kids till now and would expect them to continue doing the same even in future.
If you are looking for a childcare provider to take care of your precious child, for all the reasons above, I highly recommend The Village.
My son now 3 years old has been going to this nursery since he was 8 months old, on a full time basis. The care he has received has been first class. I was so worried about leaving him with strangers but almost instantly I realised that the staff were not strangers at all. They were more like family. My son is excelling in many topics and is extremely clever for his age. He will be leaving for big school soon and I can honestly say I don't want him to leave. Thank you for everything you have done for my boy. I will never forget how amazing all of the staff were and I would recommend this nursery to anyone. I myself will be using them again!
My daughter has attended The Village Nursery since being 10 months old. I have been more than happy with the care she has received. Any time there has been any issues, they have been dealt with swiftly and to my satisfaction. I am currently pregnant with my second child and I will almost definitely be sending him to The Village. Can't rate the level of care and love they have given her and I'm thrilled she has spent her nursery experience alongside such loving staff.
I highly recommend The Village Nursery. Before our sons first day, we had a home visit from a member of the management team and from his key worker. He also had 2 settling in sessions so when his first day came I felt better and more confident about leaving him.
His 2 key workers have been absolutely brilliant. So caring, enthusiastic, reassuring and lovely. I have to say though all of the staff I have come across, have been nothing but friendly, warm and supportive.
Our son had such varied days and does some brilliant activities to support his learning and to have lots of fun.
The menu is very good and allergies are very well catered for here. The children are provided with a good variety of food and snacks.
We are emigrating to Australia soon and we feel sad that our son has to say goodbye to some lovely people who have been such a good influence on him. We hope we can find a nursery as good as The Village Nursery over there!
We chose The Village when I was 7 months pregnant to avoid disappointment and get a place! After looking at several nurseries, it had the best feeling when we walked in coupled with the great environment, outdoor space and a wonderful team.
I was apprehensive about leaving my son when I went back to work after being with him full time for 10 months. He settled in with the team really quickly and is coming up to two years at the nursery. The transition between rooms has been seamless, so much so that it's like nothing has changed, which is very reassuring as it shows how at home he is.
The team go the extra mile making sure that home links are maintained with activities that are centred around them and the events they put on are fantastic, from pirate parties to a traditional cooking event.
We couldn't wish for more for Noah's early years education. Big thanks as always to the team. You all do an amazing job!
