Corner House Trafford believes in seeing children as individuals. Their ethos is to work closely with and build meaningful relationships with children and their families. Their teams work closely with the families ensuring they feel confident from the onset, starting with the very first session in their home visits to the personal visits with their Key Person.

The Key person’s role is to support the child and their family as they begin to make relationships within the setting. Information sharing is integral to ensure that staff always provide the best possible experiences for each of them.

The baby unit consists of a beautiful light open environment with immediate accesses a separate garden and baby sleep room. Above all the babies at nursery feel loved and cared for. During this important phase, babies are exploring the world with all of their senses and their whole bodies and so the activities and experiences they plan with the babies support and encourage children’s strong exploratory impulses.

The nursery is purpose-built with specifically designed outdoor areas which naturally encourage the children to independently access both the indoor and outdoor environments. Children’s development and experiences are recorded through the online software (ParentZone). Parents are encouraged to share their child’s interests directly with their Key Person, this is then planned for as part of the child's next step to further support their development.

The nursery's team of cooks work endlessly to provide well balanced nutritional meals for all of the children. Using the Eat Better Start Better guidelines the children enjoy a four weekly menu providing a wide variety of dishes.

Corner House Nursery has been an amazing nursery for my son so far. He’s currently in the toddler room and is thriving beyond measures. He started at 11 months in the baby room where he was cared for as if he was the staffs child with lots of love and nurturing. Would highly recommend Corner House Nursery
and can’t wait to see my son grow and develop more as he moves through the rest of the nursery.

My son has attended Corner House Trafford Park since he was 9 months old, he is currently transitioning from the baby room to the toddler room.
When looking for childcare we initially didn't consider here because it was not walkable from our home, but after touring several local nurseries and being
really disappointed we decided to tour here, and it was meant to be.
The facilities are wonderful, the whole place is clean and well organised. The garden is in a different league than the other ones we saw, spacious with lots of fun stuff for the kids. He loves the food, and all the meals are fun and well-balanced. The staff even provided us with some of the recipes upon request so we could recreate his favourite dishes at home. All the staff in the baby room are phenomenal and I really feel like my son is well cared for.

Both my boys attended the Village Nursery and I can say it’s an amazing nursery. The staff are great, the management has dealt with any accident or queries the right way. The menu is great, I can’t think of anything negative to say about it. I visited many nurseries and they do not compare.

Our child has been at The Village Nursery for 9 months, progressing from baby to toddler rooms. Throughout that time we have been impressed with the level of thought that goes into not only introducing the children to the nursery itself but also transitioning between rooms. These periods are worrying
for parents and big changes for the children but we have been at ease throughout. We’re also continually impressed with the day-to-day care our child receives, from activities to daily updates to the food menu. We're often jealous of what they’ve had for dinner! Whilst a relatively large nursery it doesn’t feel that way. We have a great relationship with our child’s key worker and the management team are equally as open and accessible. Finally, the way the nursery has handled Covid had been exemplary. At no time have we felt our child, or ourselves, are at risk and have welcomed their regular and clear updates. We’re really pleased with our decision to enrol and recommend them wholeheartedly.

My child has been at the nursery since January 2021 starting in the baby room and progressing to Toddler 1 room. The staff in both rooms have been brilliant, and the activities have really helped my child to learn and progress. The staff have also been really helpful in guiding us as parents as well.
Although a little more expensive than other local nurseries, I would highly recommend The Village Nursery as it is worth the money.

I am over the moon with the care and service from The Village Nursery. Both my three-year-old and one-year-old attend and we’ve had incredibly positive experiences with both children. We feel our kids have a strong relationship with their care providers in each of their rooms and are both flourishing
under their guidance. We communicate with staff before and after every session which helps us feel very supported as parents, and the general communications from the nursery as a whole are frequent and informative. The menu is definitely a big hit too!

It is a multi-cultural nursery with loving and caring staff. The best thing I like as an Asian is that the nursery offered dietary options suitable for everyone and you are relaxed because your child's nutrition values are up to date. My son has the best time at nursery, the staff have been very compliant whilst we are potty training and he has come on wonders. The staff help him to build relationships with his peers and in general loves all the activities and learning they do with him.

We have been using the Village Nursery in Trafford Park for a good few years now, and the kids love it and return home exhausted through the amount of activities indoor as well as outdoor. Lovely to see the daily photos of them enjoying themselves. The food must be good as they seem to eat more there
than at home, never seem to be hungry in the evening. Availability early morning/late afternoon helps us to do drops and pick-ups around our working lives along with school runs for our older children. Staff are always pleasant and the kids really do look forward to going. Well done all round.

The Village Nursery is the best nursery I have ever seen! The learning and activities they create for the children is amazing, the set up of the whole nursery is just perfect in my eyes. Both our children have attended this nursery. They have both thoroughly enjoyed the setting and are developing well. The nursery has an excellent way of transitioning children through the nursery and the level of care is outstanding. They provide a varied menu of home-cooked meals and vary the activities
and focus areas of development throughout the year. The feedback on a daily basis is very informative and they also use an online system for sharing updates on development and photos throughout the day. It is an entirely enriching experience for the children. I also like the flexibility their opening hours gives you to allow parents to work a variety of shift patterns.

Our two boys attended The Village Nursery and they both had an amazing time from the baby room all the way to preschool. The employees are amazing, they go the extra mile to make the children happy and their communication with parents is second to none. The facilities are also great, the fact that it
was a purpose-built nursery is what attracted me in the first place to register my first son and the positive feeling carried on when visiting the nursery from the size of the rooms, the lovely gardens and the friendliness of the staff and management. I also liked the fact that there was a dedicated cot room so I knew my baby would get a good nap when needed. I would definitely recommend the village nursery to anyone who is looking for a great nursery that you can trust to help raise happy and curious children and make them ready for the big step to school.

Our daughter has attended The Village Nursery for the past 3 years, and it is such a fantastic environment, filled with fun every single day and lots of opportunities for the children to learn and develop through play. It has a great spirit and caring focus, which runs through all of the rooms from
baby's right through pre-school. The management team and all of the staff have been fantastic, and it's evident every day that they care so much for the children. There's lots of fantastic space, which is clean, well maintained and regularly refreshed. The handling of the current situation has been impressive, with clear and consistently applied measures and excellent communication whenever a question is asked. She has flourished in her time at The Village and now leaves as a confident, inquisitive, considerate and life-loving girl ready for school. I can't recommend them highly enough. First-class!

I strongly recommend The Village Nursery! My son had a bad experience in his first nursery but the team had made the impossible happen and he was in love with nursery when he left. My son is bilingual so the team have developed special initiatives in order to make sure he felt at home. The staff are
really well trained and they will go the extra mile to make sure your kid is supported all the time. We have reallocated to Portugal now but my son would have stayed until primary school. The management team will also make sure they support you whatever your situation. They are a 5-star team.
