Brilliant nursery my first son attended in 2016, my second son in 2021. The staff are fantastic, very warm and welcoming. My second son was only 3 months old when he started I was very nervous, but the staff made me feel very at ease and he absolutely loves them all.

I couldn't be happier with Old Crofts Bank Day Nursery & Pre-school and look forward to seeing my little man grow and thrive through his time there.

I knew from my initial tour of the nursery that my little girl would be happy and safe here. The staff have all welcomed my daughter with open arms and genuinely seem enthusiastic and caring surrounding her time with them. My daughter does 5 days a week so it was important to me that her nursery was like a home away from home. The rooms are lovely but also brilliantly catered for development. I love receiving daily updates and pictures and the staff listen to my updates each day. I can see the developments in my daughter with each passing week and it shows me how much the nursery invest in developmental learning. I am so happy I chose Old Crofts Bank for my little girl. The fees I think are on the higher side but are worth every single penny.

We are so happy we picked Old Crofts Bank Nursery for our daughter to attend. I was very anxious about her settling in as she has had limited exposure to other adults and babies due to the pandemic. The team there have been absolutely amazing at supporting both my daughter and myself.

Fantastic Nursery, lovely environment for your little ones to spend their days and friendly staff. We always feel at ease leaving our little one here in the safe hands of all the staff at Old Crofts Bank Day Nursery & Pre-school. We highly recommend this nursery. No complaints from me, our little one always leaves with a smile on his face.

Myself and my husband viewed six nurseries around our local area and this one by far stood out the most. When we went to look around the nursery we instantly fell in love with this one, it has a lovely, warm and home from home feeling. Due to lockdown our little boy who was then, just turning one had only had one to one time with us both, so I was really worried he may be affected and would really struggle settling in. Don't get me wrong, we had a few tears at drop off the first few times but within a few days he was literally jumping into the arms of whoever opened the door. The daily log is fantastic, it is very detailed, so at the end of each day after collection you can see exactly what they have been doing, what activities they have done, what they have eaten and how much. They also include nap times along with pictures, its fantastic. I would highly recommend this nursery, nothing is too much, it feels safe and all of the staff are lovely.

We could not recommend this nursery enough. We opted to keep our son here for his preschool year, due to current covid restrictions and mainly because we wanted him to continue in a safe and loving environment when there is so much uncertainty. The management and staff have been nothing short of exceptional during the 3 years he has attended. I work within Early Years and visit numerous settings each week, so my standards were high. Our son loves going to nursery and has great relationships with his peers and the staff. He comes home each day having learnt something new. Our baby is due to start in the New Year and I know she will be treated with the same care and love that her brother has received.

The communication, I feel, is just fantastic and it seems like such a lovely place to work and attend; couldn't be happier.

My child has been made to feel very welcome in her time at the nursery. The staff are excellent, well turned out, polite and some like a 2nd mother to her. Recent transitions were very easy due to the above.

I would like the food options to vary slightly more but that's my only mild criticism.

My daughter is currently at Old Crofts Bank, as was my son who went to school last year. We have always been really happy with the nursery and all the friendly staff. More importantly, our children love going to nursery and have learnt so much there.

I would have no hesitation in recommending. Old Crofts Bank Day Nursery to family and friends and already done.

There was no other nursery for me, the staff are brill and it’s reassuring to see some of the same staff members at the nursery from when my 13-year-old niece attended. The staff really care about the children and want them to love coming to the nursery. The management are brill and will listen to any worries you have and usually put your mind at rest. My daughter loves going to Old Crofts Bank and I would recommend it to anyone!

As soon as we looked around we cancelled all other viewings as it was obvious straight away that the wonderful people at this nursery care and love their jobs. It is a wonderful, safe and caring environment and the staff clearly enjoy their jobs. My son and daughter have both developed new skills and loved their key workers.

I would thoroughly recommend this nursery to anyone looking to send their children to nursery in Urmston.

Old Crofts Bank Day Nursery has provided outstanding care for all 3 of my children dating from 2001 to present! The care and dedication they have given my children has been next to none, I would 100% recommend this nursery; many of my friends and family have brought their children here from my recommendation! The children eat freshly prepared meals throughout the day and I am happy to know that my child has eaten nutritious foods. The nursery helps to develop my child’s social skills, communication and learning, not to forget the ampules of fun they have! The staff are brilliant and the children just love them, it’s clearly a lovely place to work as some of the staff from 2001 are still there which was fantastic to see when I brought my 3rd child to the nursery last year. Old Crofts Bank Nursery is perfect in every way for children, it’s never changed in all these years and I can guarantee it'll carry on providing the best care for many years to come!

Both my children love Old Crofts Bank Nursery, my daughter is happy going in the morning and my son, who is now at school, is desperate to come and collect her with me so he can see all the staff. The staff are amazing with the children, it is a very happy and welcoming nursery.

The manager is so helpful and understanding. I feel so lucky to have found such an amazing nursery for my daughter.

After moving into the area when my daughter was almost three years old I was extremely apprehensive about her transition to a new nursery. After viewing three of the local nurseries I next went to Old Crofts Bank, the first thing I noticed was the obvious caring and loving environment created by the whole team, ensuring that all the children in their care felt safe and loved was obviously their number one priority, my daughter started at Old Crofts Bank the following month.

During my daughter's time at the nursery she has developed a number of friendship groups, she often comes home talking about her day involving outdoor play in the private play area garden, arts and craft, Spanish lessons, sand-play and reading and story time. Most importantly for me as a mother my daughter gets up each morning and wants to go to nursery and I can go to work every day knowing she is safe and happy.

A fantastic nursery that all 3 of my children have been to and they all loved it! Such friendly and lovely staff taking care of the children. The nursery is bright and clean, and we were always welcomed in each morning - love the Beatrix Potter theme!

My Daughter attended Old Crofts Bank Nursery from the age of 10 months old through until she started in school reception. My Daughter absolutely loved going to this nursery, she learned so much in her time at the nursery. The staff are outstanding, lovely and caring people and I would highly recommend this nursery to any parents looking for an outstanding nursery for their children to learn and grow helped by the best staff you could ask for.
