Kids Planet Urmston

I wholeheartedly recommend Kids Planet Urmston to any parent, we’re so glad we made the choice.

I have two children that attend Kids Planet in Urmston and they both love attending this nursery. They have developed greatly during this time, having fun, learning new skills through play and they have developed great friendships with other children and staff. Their confidence and communication skills have improved. The staff are amazing, attentive, supportive, and friendly. They keep us informed through the parent app and I receive photos of their activities every day. They love taking part in all the activities from painting to messy play to baking. I can't fault the care provided, all the staff do a wonderful job.

I was really cautious about sending my child to a nursery but when I booked a settle at Kids Planet Urmston the staff there were really kind and reassuring that she would be absolutely fine and they couldn't have been more right! I love going to pick her up and finding out about her day via feedback from staff and constant updates through iconnect! They cater for all children and parents and they are very kind, warm and welcoming I'd definitely recommend KP Urmston to anyone considering sending their child to nursery.

Both of my children have attended Kids Planet Day Nurseries - Urmston (currently in pre-school) and have been extremely happy throughout. The staff are caring and nurturing, continually providing varied and interesting activities to support the children's development. The nursery has excellent facilities including a brilliant garden my daughter loves.

My daughter has been attending Urmston's Kids Planet Nursery since November 2019. She started in the Babies room, then after the national lockdown due to Covid-19 moved to Tots, and most recently, has moved up to Toddlers. I'm really happy with the care and experience that she is having at nursery and have been since day one. She's always happy to be dropped off, and she does so many different things every day. She learns so much through being at nursery that I'm no longer surprised when she comes home doing something new.

My daughter has recently completed her first 12 months at Kids Planet Urmston during which time, all aspects of her development have been improved. During her first nursery weeks, my daughter was having separation anxiety when attending, however, due to the staff, this has now been reduced making nursery drop off's much less stressful and emotional. Each day the staff provide regular updates on activities, meals and general moments which is really pleasing to see and has also greatly reduced my anxieties. The staff are always very helpful, responsive and friendly. There have been some great activities which my daughter has thoroughly enjoyed and this has also helped her development and social skills. I would recommend the nursery because of the friendly and warm attitudes, the flexibility and also responsiveness of the staff. I feel the nursery gives a real individual experience which is a great value.

I would highly recommend Kids Planet Urmston. My son is thriving there and loves going to nursery. At 2 he can count to 30 unaided and can count backwards from 20, which I attribute to the girls in the toddler room, who have worked with my son so hard to get him smashing all his targets. The atmosphere is friendly and caring. He enjoys all the food he gets at nursery and has made many friends.

My son now attends a special preschool, and we are grateful to all the staff at Kids'. Planet for their help and support. We miss you all very much.

Staff are very accessible and friendly, and the opening hours (7.30-6) work very well for us.

I currently have two children at Kids Planet Urmston. I cannot recommend the nursery enough, it's amazing. I have a degree in Education and Early years, so I did a lot of research into local nurseries when looking for one to send my children to. Something I loved about this nursery, in particular, is the partnership with parents and the excellent communication between home and nursery. The nursery has an app where you can see your children, what they're up to during the day, what they have eaten, amazing activities they've done and thing's they have said and all of their observations are also on the app, so you can see how your child is progressing. The staff are amazing, they go above and beyond to meet the children's needs. The staff are extremely nurturing towards the children, and offer a learning environment where the children can feel happy, safe and secure. I believe the progression of my children is down to how kind, caring and patient the staff are. Five-star nursery!

The staff really make this place special. They have gone above and beyond to welcome our child into the nursery. Taking time to find out what their interests are and fitting those activities in to the day. The cooks have also been outstanding in helping with food issues.

Now she’s in the Tots room and it’s much of the same. Kind, reassuring but knowledgable staff. As a primary teacher myself, I’m keen to hear about how the staff adhere to the EYFS curriculum and the opportunities for my daughter to grow and learn, and they supply this info with enthusiasm. On the flip side, I’m equally concerned about my daughter’s happiness and safety whilst at nursery and I couldn’t be happier with both aspects. She loves her days at nursery and I’m so glad I chose a setting for her where she’s happy and able to thrive.

Overall - the nursery has a family, friendly and happy family vibe.

Each member of staff has been really welcoming which makes us really confident in the care that she receives.
