I would highly recommend Kids Planet Urmston. My son is thriving there and loves going to nursery. At 2 he can count to 30 unaided and can count backwards from 20, which I attribute to the girls in the toddler room, who have worked with my son so hard to get him smashing all his targets. The atmosphere
is friendly and caring. He enjoys all the food he gets at nursery and has made many friends.

My son attended Kids' Planet Urmston from the age of 2. He had significant social communication and sensory difficulties.
The staff at Kids Planet Urmston demonstrated that they have a highly inclusive environment which supported both my son and his family to understand his complex needs. Our son
happily attended this nursery for 18 months. We received regular updates on his progress, and knowledgable staff assisted us in ensuring that our son received the specialist long term help he needs. More importantly, our son was meticulously cared for by staff who demonstrated a genuine interest in his development and a reassuringly nurturing approach.
As a family, we couldn't be happier with the care that our son received from Kids' Planet Urmston. I have recommended them to numerous friends who are currently pregnant.
My son now attends a special preschool, and we are grateful to all the staff at Kids'. Planet for their help and support. We miss you all very much.

Our daughter has been back at nursery (again) for the last few weeks, and she loves it! The staff always welcome her really nicely, and she seems to have lots of fun there when she goes. We were nervous when she started going again after a few months at home (as she is under 2 years old) during the
first lockdown, but she settled back in quickly and adjusted well to being dropped off at the door rather than us taking her inside.
We get frequent updates regarding what she’s been up to (via the app), and these often include photos, which are lovely to see. Activities are varied and support learning.
It’s great knowing that she’s being well looked after and entertained.
The food provided is very varied and healthy, and our daughter often has seconds, so it must taste nice!
The outside play area is fantastic, and there is a sensory room where our daughter loves to spend time.
Staff are very accessible and friendly, and the opening hours (7.30-6) work very well for us.

I currently have two children at Kids Planet Urmston. I cannot recommend the nursery enough, it's amazing. I have a degree in Education and Early years, so I did a lot of research into local nurseries when looking for one to send my children to. Something I loved about this nursery, in particular, is
the partnership with parents and the excellent communication between home and nursery. The nursery has an app where you can see your children, what they're up to during the day, what they have eaten, amazing activities they've done and thing's they have said and all of their observations are also on the app, so you can see how your child is progressing. The staff are amazing, they go above and beyond to meet the children's needs. The staff are extremely nurturing towards the children, and offer a learning environment where the children can feel happy, safe and secure. I believe the progression of my children is down to how kind, caring and patient the staff are. Five-star nursery!

The staff really make this place special. They have gone above and beyond to welcome our child into the nursery. Taking time to find out what their interests are and fitting those activities in to the day. The cooks have also been outstanding in helping with food issues.

My daughter has attended the nursery from ten months old and first started in the baby room. The settling in process was made so easy by the lovely, reassuring staff. I never felt rushed during the settling in sessions and from day one the staff went out of their way to create a special bond with my
daughter. Within weeks she would smile and clap as we pulled up to nursery in the mornings! Leaving her as a baby was so much easier than I had expected.
Now she’s in the Tots room and it’s much of the same. Kind, reassuring but knowledgable staff. As a primary teacher myself, I’m keen to hear about how the staff adhere to the EYFS curriculum and the opportunities for my daughter to grow and learn, and they supply this info with enthusiasm. On the flip side, I’m equally concerned about my daughter’s happiness and safety whilst at nursery and I couldn’t be happier with both aspects. She loves her days at nursery and I’m so glad I chose a setting for her where she’s happy and able to thrive.

All the staff are fantastic and great at what they do - providing nursery care and early years learning. It comes across that they care and enjoy what they do. The children bond with the carers very quickly. I never worry about leaving my child there.
The indoors part of the nursery requires cosmetic
modernisation, but this is due to it being an old building. In particular, the preschool location which is downstairs and accessed by a narrow steep staircase. The recently modernised outdoors section has plenty of variety and toys to keep children entertained. The children get to spend as much time as possible outside. The additional activities - Stretch n Grow and Active Sport has been well received. However, they are an optional extra. The staff always have time for the parent's questions.
Overall - the nursery has a family, friendly and happy family vibe.

My little girl made the transition from another Kids Planet Nursery this year and has settled so well, she has grown in confidence and the staff are amazing with her.
Each member of staff has been really welcoming which makes us really confident in the care that she receives.
