Kids Planet Urmston

We have only ever had a good experience with this nursery and the staff who work there. They always make you feel welcome during drop-offs and pick-ups, take the time to show interest in you and your family and give you a detailed rundown of your child’s day. They involve them in a range of activities and we have noticed that our daughter has advanced massively in her communication skills since starting back in April 2023.

I just wanted to send a thank you to the staff at Kids Planet Urmston, in particular, the room leader; it was my son's first day today, and she really puts you at ease; you can see how passionate and caring she is towards the children, she even asked if I was OK which was thoughtful. She looked after my other boy when he was in the baby room, and consistently she is just a ray of sunshine when you are dropping them off or collecting them. Throughout the nursery, everyone, including in my son's room is so lovely and always takes the time to give you updates. So I just wanted to say thank you.

Just wanted to say a massive thank you for everything you have all done for my daughter during her two years at Kid's Planet! She's really come on leaps and bounds and I really am so happy with everything, especially, since the new management! All of the girls have made her experience amazing, and helped me in leaving her when she's been upset by making me feel like she's their own! Since moving to the pre-school staff has done such a fantastic job getting her ready for big school, the stuff she has taught is incredible from getting herself ready to smashing phonics out the park! One member of staff said she's studying to be a teacher and I think that's a huge asset for Kid's Planet, she really is a fantastic staff member there! I'll be forever grateful for all the girls who have helped shape her into who she is now leaving Kids Planet! I'm so proud! I can't wait for my little boy to join and hopefully follow his sister's footsteps! Thank you so much for everything, outstanding service!

The rooms at Kids Planet Urmston are well laid out and packed with interesting things for the children. The garden is particularly amazing. The staff are wonderful, a special shout out to one member of staff, in particular, - my child couldn’t be in better hands than with this caring lady. Lots of info about the nursery to read on the notice boards so you always know what’s going on. Highly recommend.

From my own experience, I have always been greeted in the most friendly and welcoming way. The staff have asked me about my own career and lifestyle. I feel like they really want the whole picture of my daughter's upbringing. This is so reassuring because, in such a short time, they've become an extension of my daughter's inner circle. The environment is filled with interesting things to look at that encourage creativity and imagination. The nursery itself is very clean, safe and personal.

The preschool room is absolutely fantastic, getting children ready for school. A lot of activities, phonic games. All staff are so helpful with the transition from potty training to just building children's confidence.

My little boy started in April in the baby room and he adores all the staff and always leaves with a big smile on his face at pick up. The activities they do with him are brilliant and are bringing him on so much. They always keep the parents informed too which puts my mind at ease being away from him. Highly recommend Kids Planet Urmston.

Great staff! Always polite and professional. Can’t say a bad word. My little boy is always well cared for. Daily updates are consistent and show what they are up to which is nice as they don’t always have the vocabulary to tell you.

We enrolled our first child at 10 months old to Kids Planet Urmston and immediately felt at ease leaving our VIP with the staff. They are attentive and caring, providing detailed updates about her development and mood. They vary the activities all the time and encourage lots of outdoor play and also independence. She eats like a king and always comes home exhausted and happy - the sign of a great day. The management team are quick to respond and they have accommodated changes in our timetable as much as they can. Thank you to all the staff that make this lovely nursery run you're doing a fab job.

I am so happy that my son goes to Kids Planet Urmston as the team are so wonderful! Every staff member is amazing and my son absolutely loves going to nursery. They provide regular updates on what he gets up to daily which is fantastic, his progress and development has improved so much and it's all thanks to the staff who really treat each child individually and cater to their needs. I never have any worries when I drop him off for the day because I know he is safe, has a lovely time and the staff are great! The food is all cooked on site and so there's a variety of meals, they have indoor and outdoor activities which make for very fun play. Thank you so much to everyone at Kids Planet Urmston because you are all amazing!

My daughter has attended this nursery since January and will be leaving shortly for school. In such a short space of time my daughter has come on so much and family and friends regularly comment on her development. I believe this is primarily down to the care and teaching and learning she has received at Kids Planet Urmston. She is so much more confident these days and always comes home with lots of stories to tell and a big smile on her face. The staff here have always been so warm and welcoming and nothing ever seems to be too much trouble, it's clear to see how much they care for the children and want them to reach their full potentials. I have nothing but praise for this setting and want to thank them so much for taking such wonderful care of my little one. It's heartwarming to know she is so well looked after whilst I have to work. And thank you to the managers as well, who have always been so approachable and go above and beyond to meet our needs.

All the staff at Kids Planet Urmston are excellent. They couldn't be more helpful. The app is brilliant and lovely that you can check in on what your little one is up to easily whenever you want to. I feel like they really care about our daughter and look after her so well. We get updates on her development and her language has come on so much! The nursery are flexible with pick ups and drop offs and really understand the needs of working parents.

Thank you for looking after our children this year, they have had a fantastic few months and have both learned so much! Our son is gutted he's not back till 2022! You are all proper good.

Kids Planet Urmston is a fantastic, engaging environment for our daughter. The staff are wonderful - always enthusiastic, energetic and happy to engage with our daughter at every session. We receive regular updates on the parent app of the journey of our daughter’s day, including the activities she has been involved in. We are regularly updated on her learning and developmental progress and milestones. I would not hesitate to recommend this nursery!

My daughter has absolutely loved her time at Kids Planet, I can’t fault the nursery in any way. The care she has received has been excellent and she has built close relationships with the staff, especially her key worker. The outdoor area is the best I’ve seen in any nursery, with lots for little ones to explore. Everything is well organised and well communicated and above all else, she seems to have learnt a lot and is very happy there. Thanks to all at Kids Planet Urmston! I would absolutely recommend.

As being a first time mother, I was very anxious about sending my little one to nursery, but I couldn't fault Kids Planet one bit, from the very first look around I knew it was the one! He started at 9 months old and is over 2 now he has loved every minute of his nursery journey and I cannot thank the staff enough for making these transitions so smooth! Kids Planet Urmston is a wonderful team. Keep up the good work girls!

I can’t speak highly enough about the staff at Kids Planet Day Nursery. My daughter has absolutely loved her time at Kids Planet Day Nursery since joining in early February. She looks so excited to be there when we drop her off in the mornings and given all the fun stuff they get up to (as seen on the app!) I’m not surprised! The girls are all lovely and seem genuinely happy to see her. The communication through the app is great! Overall can’t fault the nursery or the staff - all brilliant!
