Partou Little Acorns Day Nursery & Pre-school provides high-quality childcare for children from birth to five-years-old. The nursery has been caring for children in Atherton since 1987.

The nursery is set in a lovely Victorian property with a natural outdoor play area, where children can play outdoors every day and even learn swimming and French.

The long-serving Little Acorns team are highly qualified and have first aid and safeguarding training so families know that their children are in caring, capable hands.

Staff at Little Acorns have have undergone enhanced DBS checks and the nursery has CCTV and secure door entry systems for added security.

The chef at Little Acorns prepares all of the nursery’s healthy meals and snacks in the nursery kitchen using quality ingredients. The nursery’s seasonal menu can be altered to meet any special dietary requirements.

My son has gone to this nursery for a number of years now and it’s been the best nursery. The staff go above and beyond for the children and are very friendly and welcoming. I give this nursery more than five-star review as my son has been so happy here and that means the world to know he enjoys it
as I’m at work. Thank you so much, I will be gutted when he leaves to go to school in September. What a pleasure it has been.

Little Acorns is a lovely nursery where the children are welcomed into an extended family.
My little boy has loved every minute of his time here and we will be sad when he leaves for school in September. The children are taught a wide range of skills and communication through play which our son seems
to enjoy. Little Acorns always organises a huge number of events throughout the year including swimming and forest day trips.

Absolutely amazing nursery. My daughter loves it and is thriving there; she has learnt so much from the kind and caring bunch at Little Acorns. She is always happy to skip in on a morning and has lots of fun things to tell me after. Wouldn’t go anywhere else.

My son spent many happy years in Little Acorns, it has given him plenty of life skills and introduced him to life away from the home, and new friends who he attends school with. I look back on his time here with fondness. When making a decision to, for all intents and purposes, delegate your child’s
daytime upbringing is a worrying and difficult decision. I feel that Little Acorns got it just right for my son. The staff were warm and welcoming and the facilities are great. I would highly recommend this nursery as a great place to attend. When we drive past Jasper always comments.

A fantastic nursery! My little boy has been coming here for just over 12 months now and he has shown great development in every aspect. His confidence has developed so well with the help from teachers in the baby room and infant room! Each teacher has shown him so much care and dedication and provided

My little boy Alexander started little acorns on Feb 2023, the staff were so welcoming and reassuring to us as parents. Alexander has an amazing bond with miss sienna in the upper baby room! Couldn’t of picked a better nursery!!

Would highly recommend Little Acorns in Atherton. Both our sons attended so the nursery has been a big part of our lives for over five years. When we were first looking for a nursery for our eldest we were understandably worried about leaving them, how they would settle in etc. From our first visit
to our last (five years later with our youngest) I can honestly say they are brilliant. The manager and her team put us at absolute ease, not only did we know our children were safe but they were also being supported to grow and develop. From playing in the garden to themed activities, away days and leavers ball, both our children thoroughly loved their time at Little Acorns and we cannot thank them enough.

This was my daughters first nursery and we were too worried about how she will cope with it. Thankfully, the staff at the nursery and the managers were very professional, and she acclimatised fairly quickly. We could see visible positive difference in her interaction and overall growth. We opted out
only because we are relocating from the neighbourhood. Overall, we had an outstanding experience at Little Acorns, Atherton.

I cannot recommend Little Acorns enough, it is a wonderful nursery where the children are welcomed into an extended family. My little girl had never been away from family until she started Little Acorns in Sept 2021 age 3, she has loved every minute. They teach the children a wide range of skills and
communication, they always organise a huge number of events throughout the year. The staff are wonderful, genuinely want the children to flourish and put every ounce of effort into each day.
After one visit we knew this was the nursery for our daughter and don't regret it for a minute. Little Acorns will be at the top of the list for our second daughter when she reaches that age, a wonderful nursery all round.

My child has been at Little Acorns Nursery since he was 6 months old, he will be 3 at the end of February.
I cannot praise this nursery enough. There are no faults.
The staff are friendly every single day, morning and evening. Even after a long days work for them, they are still always smiling and
polite.
I have been extremely pleased with my child’s progress and he is a very happy little boy.
I thank all the staff at little acorns for helping me bring up my son.
Amazing!

After having a bad experience with another nursery, we could not praise Little Acorns enough! We decided to make the tough decision to pull our son out of a previous childcare setting and place him into here and it was the best decision ever. They have been nothing short of impeccable which made it
easy when we came to choosing where our daughter should attend.
The staff are fabulous and have a great connection with the children, always friendly and willing to answer questions I have. Both my children have great bonds with the staff and I never worry about leaving them.
The nursery is always clean and I love seeing what my children have been up to on the learning book app. My children have come on in leaps and bounds since attending. It has been challenging with the current circumstances of a pandemic but the nursery have kept us well informed and on the occasion I do have any questions they’ve been quick in responding. I cannot think of anything more I would want from a nursery.

My son has attended this nursery since just before he was 9 months, all the staff have been amazing with him. He settled in well, even with the transition of being closed due to the first lockdown, he adapted quickly to the changes. Every member of staff is lovely and they have so much time for you,
management are understanding and able to help when required with any problems. He’s also dairy-free which hasn’t been a problem at all, not a bad word to say! Thank you to all the staff.

Our family adores this nursery! We are always greeted with bright, happy staff who clearly adore our baby boy and his smiles tell us he loves them too! Very safe and loving environment to help us raise our baby, there so much choice of play for him both inside and outdoors with his little friends and
we get plenty of feedback and pictures through the learning book. The staff are clearly very experienced in early years and work with us to help him achieve his milestones. Our little boy is very happy being a Little Acorn and the nursery have made the difficult decision to leave him every day a breeze and that is down to the love, care and compassion they all clearly have for all their little ones! An extra big thank you to the member of staff who welcomed and cherished our tiny baby a year ago and now the infant's team who love having our cheeky monkey around to learn and grow with them!

My son has been attending Little Acorns for just under two years.
He always loves coming to nursery, he skips in on a morning and then is forever smiling when he leaves communicating and explaining how his day has gone and which friends he seen and played with. I have seen his confidence grow and
his ability to stand on his own two feet. This has been made possible with fantastic and helpful staff, for instance they supported me and my son while we was going through the process of potty training trying to keep the routine I did at home in nursery.
I feel Little Acorns is a very personal nursery, and the staff take an interest in my child and what he likes and dislikes and who he is growing up to become.
Whenever needed, Little Acorns are always a phone call away, where the management are extremely helpful, always offering helpful and reassuring advice.
I would not hesitate to choose this nursery again. My son loves coming to nursery. Thank you for all your hard work.

After having a look at other nurseries, I’m really glad we decided to send our daughter to Little Acorns. The manager was lovely showing me around the nursery and answered all my questions and I felt at ease knowing I could leave my daughter in a nursery where she would thrive. We’ve really enjoyed
the effort Little Acorns has made at making my daughter feel welcome and even though she was only 9 months old when she started, she seems to be really enjoying it. I always enjoy looking at her daily observations and seeing the photos of what she’s been up to at the nursery and the staff have always gone out of their way to answer my queries. The daily activities always look fun in the photos and I like that my daughter can have a vegetarian diet with meat substitutes so she’s enjoying the same meals as her friends. I definitely would recommend Little Acorns to anyone and I look forward to seeing my daughter enjoy the next few years there.

My daughter attended nursery previously and I had to take her out when I went on maternity leave with my son. I would not have taken them anywhere else when I returned to work. The staff are so friendly, my children love the staff and seeing what they get up to during the day on learning book is lovely.
My children have come on so much during their time there, learning different things. Cannot recommended Little Acorns enough.
