Fantastic nursery. Wouldn't send my children anywhere else, always go above and beyond with everything. All staff are very caring and always care for children's needs.
My child has loved her time at Little Acorns and I feel her experience there has set her in good stead for her new experience to come at primary school. My child loves the nursery teachers and I have always found everyone to be very helpful and accommodating.
Amazing nursery. All staff are very caring and have a genuine bond with my children, even after my eldest left for school, he is still welcomed by all staff when he comes to collect his sister. Both my children have developed well with the help of Little Acorns providing an amazing environment. They offer swimming lessons and Spanish lessons and also do just nature days which my daughter especially loves. I will be very sad when my youngest leaves for school as Little Acorns has been a big part of our lives for the last 4 years
We weighed up about five nurseries before choosing this one and we’re so glad we did. Our daughter was a lockdown baby so we decided to put her into nursery earlier than planned, at six months old, in order to socialise. She was a very shy baby, but the staff have gone above and beyond with her. We had her parents evening recently (she’s nearly three now) and the difference in her is phenomenal. She’s chatty, confident, plays well and all this has really been taught and nurtured in her whilst at nursery (she’s in five days a week). I also love that the nursery make an effort to put on events for the kids (and parents too). We are looking forward to the garden party next week. Huge praise for the staff, if we have another child we know where we’re sending them!
Our son has attended since he was 6 months old, we looked at several nurseries in the area but once we visited, we were in no doubt where we wanted him to go, the nursery stands out from the rest. There are a lot of long-standing staff, management are approachable. The nursery is run to a very high standard. There are daily posts on social media which are amazing, and the activities the staff create are so engaging. There are lots of extras too; swimming lessons, French and Spanish lessons, Just Nature Days, we have recently attended a parent's evening where we got to stay for a 'stay and play session' and hear all about his development, there was also a delicious buffet. The food is all freshly cooked from scratch by the nursery cook, I wish I could eat there! There is a garden party in a few weeks with a mobile farm. The outside area is a hidden gem. The staff are nurturing and treat the children like their own, they go above and beyond each and every day.
My child has attended Little Acorns Private Day Nursery and Pre-school full time, from the baby room through to the pre-school. There honestly hasn’t been a single day where she hasn’t been happy and excited to go in. She’s come on so much through the years and aside from academically, the nursery has also provided support in life stages such as walking, toilet training etc. When selecting a nursery, one of things that drew me to Little Acorns was the additional activities like days out, swimming, Spanish lessons etc. and these have not disappointed.
My little boy is currently in the Tweenies room and really enjoys going. He does a wide range of activities which he thoroughly enjoys. The nursery staff really take an interest in the child’s interests and try to promote these at nursery. The staff are all really lovely and friendly too. We get a warm welcome every morning.
My daughter enjoys attending nursery. The nursery offer extra activities including swimming and language lessons. They have regular open evenings to discuss your child. They arrange special activities such as farm visits and dressing up for events such as the King's Coronation and Christmas. I would recommend this nursery.
Little Acorns is an amazing nursery. They treat the children like their own. They nurture, educate and help the children build confidence. My son has learnt so much in his time here and people tell me he’s so clever and grown up - I put this down to the quality of teaching at this nursery. The safeguarding is second to none and you feel like your child is safe whilst there. The manager and team are amazing!
Brilliant nursery, all the staff are lovely and my daughter loves going here. The staff ensure activities are engaging and planned around children’s interests and developmental needs and the food menu is great and varied. All the rooms are well equipped for each age group and the outdoor area has lots of space and activities. The nursery engages very well with parents and I would recommend Little Acorns to anyone who is looking for a nursery in the Atherton area.
Little Acorns is an excellent nursery, All the staff go above and beyond. My son has been here since he was 9 months old and he will be starting school this September. He has developed and grown into such a caring, kind and clever little boy and I believe Little Acorns have helped with this. I will be extremely sad when he leaves this nursery as he loves it so much and has such a special bond with the staff that work here. I honestly couldn't recommend them enough!
My son has been going to this nursery since 11 months of age. They made going back to work so easy knowing he would be so well cared for. In fact, I had his name down for this nursery when I was pregnant, I didn’t even look at any other nurseries as all my nephews went here and were so cared for and so well established due to the amazing role the nursery played. They always plan activities around children's interests and needs. They always do so much learning, laughing and playing and we are regularly updated by a learning book which is so great to see all the lovely pictures they share. The staff always go above and beyond and are always willing to answer any questions and give you updates. The facilities are brilliant and my son always comes home happy every day. They are great and would really recommend this nursery.
Absolutely amazing nursery, brilliant staff and a very nurturing environment for my child highly recommended. My boy is in the babies room which could do with a few more engaging toys to which I will be donating very shortly. But the staff looking after him are great and they all deserve a pay rise in my opinion!
Our granddaughter loves going to nursery and has really grown in confidence in her preppies class thanks to the great staff. She is due to start swimming lessons soon which she is really looking forward to.
No matter what situation good or bad she is there for you 100% which gives you a sense of comfort as you know your child and other children are their number one priority.
My daughter has grown and developed/developing into an amazing little girl extremely clever, confident, happy and caring and nursery has a huge huge part of this with how they teach, learn and communicate with the children.
Also, they don't just sit around inside, they have a brilliant outside play area and also plan field trips which the kids just love and also take them swimming once they're in the last stages of nursery which I think is brilliant.
Everything about this nursery is amazing.
Thank You to all the nursery team for everything you've done/doing for my daughter and myself so far.
I have never had an issue with anything, I will truly be sad when my son has to leave for Primary School.
My son has been at Little Acorns since he was 8 months old. He loves attending and it has brought him on so much. The nursery caters for his dairy allergy and ensures he is always included. All the food is freshly prepared on site which is an added bonus.
Highly recommended!
My eldest child attended Little Acorns from 9 months old until he left for school and absolutely thrived there. Therefore I did not hesitate when deciding where to send my youngest son. He has been there since he was a baby and has come on leaps and bounds. The nursery has such a homely feel to it and all the staff are so friendly and easy to approach. The care they show towards the children is second to none. I have always felt completely comfortable when leaving my children here and the safeguarding procedures in place are very reassuring.
Communication between the nursery and parents is also great. There are regular open evenings for families where we get to see my son's work and progress and I love this. I would really recommend Little Acorns to any parent and I am very grateful of the care and support they have provided me and my 2 sons with (and continue to do so)
Little Acorns have been incredible with our little girl. She started as such a shy baby and has now grown up into a little girl with so much character and confidence and I put that down to the staff at nursery. We get constant updates, welcome advice and a whole host of stories on pick up! Thank you Little Acorns for taking that weekday pressure away and making the whole process a dream.
My daughter has attended Little Acorns for the past 2 years. The staff are amazing they look after her with such care and attention, and they form exceptional bonds. They have nurtured her curiosity and creativity, their activities are well put together. My only downside is the cost just increased 12% which is tough, especially in the current cost of living crisis, but the team are worth a pay increase for sure.
