Partou Little Acorns Day Nursery & Pre-school

My granddaughter moved to Little Acorns recently. We were all really worried about her settling in a new nursery, we didn't need to! Right from the beginning when we went to look round we were reassured by the manager that they would give her the support needed and help her settle in and they did. My granddaughter has been at the nursery now for several months and has settled well and really blossomed under their care, nothing is too much trouble and she always has lots of things to bring home and tell me about, she loves the staff and tells me all about them and what they have been doing when I collect her. The food is amazing and I often wish that I could stay for lunch too! Thank you to all of you for taking such good care of her.

We have used Little Acorns Private Day Nursery, Atherton for both our children. The standard of care is excellent and the staff are well trained and engaging with the children. There are always different activities held in a day to help to learn through play and a real emphasis on the child's development. We love it as parents as much as our children have.

Both of our children attend Little Acorns, the staff were very supportive when it came to my return to work and I quickly formed a great trust and& respect in the staff who are highly knowledgeable and experienced in childcare. Both of our children love the nursery and they are always having fun and learning new things. We have seen great developmental advances in both of our children since they have been here, which is encouraged by staff. Their emphasis on key values and building character in these early years perfectly compliments our home value system. My little boy often says that the food is 'yummy yummy' and after looking at the menu I can see why he thinks that! We highly recommend Little Acorns nursery and wouldn't choose anywhere else. Little Acorns has provided wonderful care for both of my children over the past 5 years. They take the time to speak to parents and find everything out about the children in order to make smooth transitions. Nothing is too much trouble and the policies and procedures are clear and always followed.

My son only joined, start of January, however already seems to be coming on in leaps and bounds. I love that they are always doing something different with him and how creative they help the children to be. Would love to put more but still new to the nursery.

I started my daughter at Little Acorns after being dis-satisfied with her first nursery. My daughter had been unhappy at her first setting, but settled in very well and was given individual attention. We became aware that our daughter had a medical condition which contributed to her delayed mobility and other issues. The staff were extremely supportive and did extra exercises to help build her muscles. I must say the nursery is not local to me and 1.5 hour per day well worth it. The staff provision and management are exceptional.

My daughter is currently in the baby room and absolutely loves coming to nursery, smiling at me as I leave! She always comes home with paint between her toes after doing lots of fun creative activities as well as exploring so many other different sensory activities throughout the day! The baby room staff are just fantastic and couldn't be more accommodating to her needs and are always telling me and my partner what a pleasure she is to look after just makes our working lives so much easier just knowing how happy she is at nursery, and how comfortable she feels with the staff in the baby room!

Our daughter is developing very well at Little Acorns Nursery and is growing in confidence. There are occasional slight problems but these are always rectified promptly. The food is excellent.

My son is in the baby room he's only been at Little Acorns for for 2 months and he loves it. The staff are fantastic caring and show excellent knowledge. The settling in sessions are all done to the child and parents needs. The nursery is well managed and the standards are exceedingly high. Information is shared and already my son's development file is full of little milestones. The food looks fabulous and very healthy which is good as a working parent to know my child is getting all the nutrition he needs to help him to develop in to a healthy little boy. An outstanding nursery!

My son has been attending Little Acorns for five months and recently joined upper babies. he has problems with his joints and movements and the staff have spent 1-2-1 time with him helping his development. The food at Little Acorns is fantastic and there is nothing that he hasn't tried but he loves all the food. The staff are helping him use a spoon and at thirteen months this is brilliant. My son is very happy and content at Little Acorns and I can't recommend them enough.

One of my children has been through this nursery and is now in school. The educational element provided by the care at nursery gave her a headstart in school. My son is currently in nursery. For both of them the care they have received has at all times been exemplary. The children are showered with love and attention. They are taught politeness, respect and good manners. They are encouraged to care for themselves, such as at dinner times to teach them independence, but are helped and supported when required. The facilities in the rooms and the large outside play area are of a very high standard. All necessary protocols e.g safeguarding, are well established. The place is very well managed and parents are kept informed on their child's development regularly. This is an outstanding nursery.

Thinks it's great how they offer the French lessons, my child has come on so much from being here and his confidence has grown so much thanks to the amazing staff ;)

My daughter has attended Little Acorns since she was 6 months old, she is now 2 & she absolutely loves it! The staff are very friendly, attentive & professional. The nursery also regularly holds open evenings where you have the opportunity to discuss your child's development & try some lovely homemade food from their menus!! Overall brilliant nursery, excellent staff & management, well planned activities for the children - Definitely a winner!

I would recommend Little Acorns nursery to family members and friends My son has received a fantastic level of care since he started and his learning and development journey is on track due to the amazing work from all the staff. The nursery environment is extremely welcoming, all the staff are very friendly and helpful and are always available for help and advice.

My son really enjoys mealtimes, the menu has such a wide choice which is enabling him to try new foods he might not necessarily try at home.

The outside play area is excellent with plenty of facilities for the children to explore and enjoy.

My daughter started at 9 months old. I am Very pleased with how my daughter has settled in nursery and the transition between rooms. She loves coming in every morning and doesn't want to leave in the evenings! Would definitely recommend!!!!

Little Acorns Day Nursery is an absolutely fantastic learning environment. Our daughter has been there since she was 5 months old and the learning and development support she receives is impeccable! She is well looked after in a caring and nurturing environment where safety of both staff and children is paramount. The outstanding calibre of staff has enabled her to build relationships and feel safe and happy to be left. She is always full of smiles on arrival. The food she receives is second to none; home-cooked, nutritious and by far her favourite part of the day!

As first time parents and educationalists ourselves, we were sceptical of sending our baby to a nursery but from her very first settling in visit to now; 5 months on, we could not be any happier with Little Acorns. The talented team deserve such recognition. I believe Little Acorns is the best nursery in the area and I often recommend it to fellow parents looking for outstanding provision.

I send both my girls to Little Acorns, and couldn't be happier with the service and care that they provide. They have worked really hard with my eldest to get her over her phobia of eating new things. They have also paid attention to how my youngest daughter is developing physically and put things out especially for her to help extend that development. As well as this they put toys out that they know she has an interest in. The menu choices are excellent too.
