Astley Nature Kindergarten is situated in the heart of Astley in a stunning villa with plenty of its original features and character.

A well established, welcoming environment providing day care, before/after school care and a holiday club for children aged five to 11 years. Staff support all children to learn, develop and grow as confident individuals and support children with additional needs and children with English as a second language. A fully inclusive staff team work together to build relationships with parents ensuring smooth transitions from home to nursery. Staff team do this through their daily practices: drop in days, parents' evenings and play and stay sessions where parents can have an active role in nursery life.

There are seven playrooms within the nursery that provide safe, stimulating and engaging activities such as sensory, educational, messy and physical play. Now offering 'Forest School' Saturday Sessions.

Awarded the Health Setting Award along with the Healthy Business Award where menus were analysed by a nutritionist and proven to promote health and well-being.

Offer sibling discount, Emergency Service staff discount, variable/part-time/full-time sessions and FREE funded places.

An all-inclusive nursery meaning that all meals, snacks, nappies, wipes and formula are included in fees as well as quality early year’s care and education and a celebration of festivals throughout the year.

My little boy is doing so well at nursery and he gets so much stimulation. I love that he gets a lot of outdoor playtime as the grounds are so big, he is very active and there are lots for him to do. He has been at the nursery since he was 1 year old and is now in Preschool 1 room and has great relationships
with the staff. I would recommend this nursery.

Both of our children have been at Astley Nature Kindergarten and they have loved it. All of the team are fantastic and the children have created a great bond with many of the staff. The setup is great too with a brilliant outdoor space. Can't recommend them enough!

This nursery is absolutely amazing. The staff go above and beyond for your children, nothing is too much. They have a varied menu which my little one always comes home full. The activities that the staff do with the children and the learning instructions they give are fabulous. The outdoor area is very
big and the staff make the most of this. Would recommend this nursery to anyone who is looking for childcare.

My son joined Astley Nature Kindergarten when he was 15 months old after having been with a childminder for 8 months. I was very concerned that he would adjust poorly to a bigger, louder, busier group especially as contact with other children outside of the childminders was minimal thanks to the pandemic.
He did amazingly well during his contact sessions which were arranged to accommodate my work schedule and he absolutely flourished thereafter. He started 2 months ago but it already feels like his second home. He goes to the nursery every day with a big smile, loves all the staff, and can already identify/greet 3 of the staff members by name. He spends a lot of time in their gorgeous outdoor space which I am thrilled about as we lead an outdoor lifestyle. I love reading about what he's been up to during the day and love seeing photographs of him interacting with the staff and other little ones. The staff are always happy and enthusiastic and are always available if I have any concerns.

The nursery has fantastic outdoor areas which have some very engaging areas for children to flourish and develop.
The impressive building has some big rooms and although very busy seems to offer a friendly and warming welcome and the children look happy and engaged.
The staff seem to be happy in their
roles and this transfers to the atmosphere in the building.
Overall I think this is one of the best in the area.

My little girl goes the Holyrood Day Nursery and she is in preschool she is loving it in there as she has come on leaps and bounds since she has moved up. They do loads of lovely activities with the children. The gardens here are very big and all the children love going outside in the cars and the other
toys when I pick up my little girl. All of the staff are all very friendly and are very happy to help you if you have a problem or have any questions. All of the management team are very happy to help you with any questions that you may have.

My son loves coming to nursery and always has a smile on his face. All the staff are great with him, he loves the outdoor area a lot, as there is a lot to play with. He especially loves a bug hunt with the forest school teacher. I wouldn't want him to go to any other nursery.

I have always been very happy with the level of care and educational facilities at Holyrood Day Nursery Astley. My son has been attending since he was 18-months, and it is so good I am keeping him here until school age. The outside space is outstanding, and the forest school ethos the fresh air lifestyle
we lead. I would recommend this nursery to anyone.

Holyrood Astley branch is a great nursery. We have two children attending and both are very happy and excited to go to nursery each day.
There are always new activities in both year groups that entertain our children. They come home happy and smiling.
The eldest especially loves forest school and
the teacher. He is very energetic and provides children with fun outdoor activities whilst providing them with valuable understanding of nature.

My son started at Holyrood Day Nursery Astley in August after being with a childminder for 6 months. He has come on leaps and bounds after starting at the nursery. He loves spending time in the huge outdoor area and is always happy and smiling when we drop him off and pick him up. The staff in the toddler
room are always very friendly and informative. The nursery is clean and presentable. The meals they provide my son sound delicious and healthy! Thank you to Holyrood Day Nursery Astley for being the best!

My son started at Holyrood Day Nursery Astley at the beginning of Sept '19 having moved from a previous nursery. Every member of staff at Holyrood has been very helpful and made us as a family feel very welcome.
The staff have spent time with my son getting to know him and have assigned him a key
worker based on who my son struck up a bond with.
My son loves going to nursery, often asking for the staff at home. He runs in in the mornings and gives the staff a cuddle and then happily waves me off with a kiss. At home time we often "sneak" in to see what our son is getting up to. He is always happy and is included in activities. We have witnessed the staff interacting with our son, and they are all firm but very, very fair and loving towards the children.
We only wished we had moved our son to this nursery sooner!!

We have one daughter currently at Holyrood Day Nursery Astley and one just left for school, and they both love it. The youngest actually asks to go at the weekend! The staff are brilliant, very attentive to the individual needs of the children and, most importantly, genuinely caring. I know my little
ones are well looked after. The outdoor space is especially good, and the forest school sessions have been a favourite. I wouldn't hesitate in recommending!

The staff are the best and the facilities are exceptional. I reluctantly took my daughter out once her big brother started school so they could be closer together, but have recently moved her back to Holyrood as the level of the support received from the whole team is irreplaceable. I felt very fortunate
and relieved that I could get her back in.

This nursery has been amazing for my son. I have no doubt about sending my second son there when his mother returns to work, after maternity leave. The staff are extremely helpful, the site is amazing with its large outdoor areas and the management team are so caring and helpful.

We brought our daughter for a look around at Holyrood with the thought of possibly moving her from her current nursery.
We found the look around very informative and she was able to answer all of our questions without any problem. The staff were interacting with our daughter and she was soon running
around with the other children. The outdoor space alone was amazing and we have made the decision to move our daughter to Holyrood, she can't wait to play with the rabbits.
