Fantastic nursery with excellent facilities! My little girl absolutely loves her nursery days. The staff are brilliant and have really worked with her to build her confidence and help her develop friendship groups. She has learnt so much since she started and has built a great bond with staff and other children. The staff work really hard to teach the children about a number of topics including literacy and numeracy and the nature garden is a brilliant addition where the children can learn all about the outside environment as well. The meals are healthy and varied. Would definitely recommend Astley Nature Kindergarten.

Astley Nature Kindergarten is a wonderful and supportive nursery environment with an emphasis on forest school and outdoor, imaginative play. Our daughter loves going here and has attended since she was 2. She is now 4.
Her social skills and relationships have come on massively since attending nursery. She is now also starting to read and I credit a lot of this development to the work her key workers at the nursery have put in, making the most of her strengths and helping her improve in her weaker areas.

We will be sending our youngest when I return from maternity leave if there is space.

Astley Nature Kindergarten felt like a home from home when we viewed it for our first baby. It was warm and welcoming with the smell of home-cooked food radiating throughout.
We enrolled our eldest without hesitation and now our daughter attends too.
The staff are happy and always greet our children with such love and affection it makes leaving them to head off to work a much easier.
The facilities are great with the outdoor forest school a real selling point to us as children are encouraged to spend time outdoors in the fresh air.

We would highly recommend!

Great nursery. My son has attended since March 2022 and loves it. All the staff are lovely and accommodating. They are currently helping us with potty training and following our lead. The outdoor area is amazing.

My little boy has been attending Astley Nature Kindergarten since he was 18 months old, he is now almost 4! We chose to send him here after reading so many positive reviews, and I feel it was one of the best decisions we made. The outdoor space is amazing, and the kids spend so much time outside. The staff have been so supportive throughout. They are friendly, genuine, and caring, and have given me invaluable advice and support over the past couple of years. A really great nursery!

My little boy is doing so well at nursery and he gets so much stimulation. I love that he gets a lot of outdoor playtime as the grounds are so big, he is very active and there are lots for him to do. He has been at the nursery since he was 1 year old and is now in Preschool 1 room and has great relationships with the staff. I would recommend this nursery.

This nursery is absolutely amazing. The staff go above and beyond for your children, nothing is too much. They have a varied menu which my little one always comes home full. The activities that the staff do with the children and the learning instructions they give are fabulous. The outdoor area is very big and the staff make the most of this. Would recommend this nursery to anyone who is looking for childcare.

My son joined Astley Nature Kindergarten when he was 15 months old after having been with a childminder for 8 months. I was very concerned that he would adjust poorly to a bigger, louder, busier group especially as contact with other children outside of the childminders was minimal thanks to the pandemic. He did amazingly well during his contact sessions which were arranged to accommodate my work schedule and he absolutely flourished thereafter. He started 2 months ago but it already feels like his second home. He goes to the nursery every day with a big smile, loves all the staff, and can already identify/greet 3 of the staff members by name. He spends a lot of time in their gorgeous outdoor space which I am thrilled about as we lead an outdoor lifestyle. I love reading about what he's been up to during the day and love seeing photographs of him interacting with the staff and other little ones. The staff are always happy and enthusiastic and are always available if I have any concerns.

The nursery has fantastic outdoor areas which have some very engaging areas for children to flourish and develop.
The impressive building has some big rooms and although very busy seems to offer a friendly and warming welcome and the children look happy and engaged.
The staff seem to be happy in their roles and this transfers to the atmosphere in the building.

Overall I think this is one of the best in the area.

My little girl goes the Holyrood Day Nursery and she is in preschool she is loving it in there as she has come on leaps and bounds since she has moved up. They do loads of lovely activities with the children. The gardens here are very big and all the children love going outside in the cars and the other toys when I pick up my little girl. All of the staff are all very friendly and are very happy to help you if you have a problem or have any questions. All of the management team are very happy to help you with any questions that you may have.

My son loves coming to nursery and always has a smile on his face. All the staff are great with him, he loves the outdoor area a lot, as there is a lot to play with. He especially loves a bug hunt with the forest school teacher. I wouldn't want him to go to any other nursery.

I have always been very happy with the level of care and educational facilities at Holyrood Day Nursery Astley. My son has been attending since he was 18-months, and it is so good I am keeping him here until school age. The outside space is outstanding, and the forest school ethos the fresh air lifestyle we lead. I would recommend this nursery to anyone.

Holyrood Astley branch is a great nursery. We have two children attending and both are very happy and excited to go to nursery each day.
There are always new activities in both year groups that entertain our children. They come home happy and smiling.

The eldest especially loves forest school and the teacher. He is very energetic and provides children with fun outdoor activities whilst providing them with valuable understanding of nature.
