I must say your staff is top of the class and amazing. They're very gentle and friendly with my son who seems to have social anxiety. They're very gentle and have helped him interact with new people and make new friends. Jannat is my favourite as she's always making sure my son is okay and always check
up on him and not just him everyone else. She treats my son the same as with the other kids and that has allowed him to really develop these past couple of months. Jannat thank you so much for your service.

Our daughter has been at this nursery since she was 14 months (she's now 3 years 4 months) and her confidence is growing and growing. The preschool room particularly is fantastic, with thoughtful activities and friendly, lively staff members. We love that staff from the baby and toddler rooms occasionally
come into the preschool room for a while as we know our daughter loves to see them. Our daughter had allergies when starting at the nursery and although there were a couple of minor incidents, the nursery's response was brilliant. The way they constantly look for improvements to the nursery (in this area and others) is exemplary. They have a range of home learning activities available often, and a wide selection of books for children to bring home. Our daughter took a long time to settle at nursery in the beginning but now I drop her off and she laughs and waves whilst getting her breakfast ready.

I am very happy with the care my child receives at Echoes Day nursery. Staff are attentive and caring, always putting the children first. The nursery frequently hosts stay and play sessions giving parents the chance to interact with children in the nursery environment. Communication is excellent and
staff are always happy to provide updates. My child has come on leaps and bounds since attending two days per week.

Our daughter has been going to Echoes for 3 months - she has settled in really well to the baby rooms and loves all the staff who are brilliant. It's a very welcoming, warm and safe space. The food menu is fresh/varied and the activities are fun while helping with learning - she has made noticeable
developmental progress in a short period of time. I'd definitely recommend.

My eldest child attended Echoes for over three years before starting school, and now their younger sibling has been there for nearly two years. Both have thrived in their time there, and developed close relationships with the staff there. The location is ideal for my city centre place of work, and communications
from the nursery have always been excellent.

Its a lovely nursery in a great location for me as i work in the city.
My son absolutely loves going he started last year in September.
He gets so excited to go in the mornings and is very happy when he gets picked up.
Really appriciate all the staff there that have worked with my son, the updates
and photos on the app are lovely. Its so great to see him being independent and enjoying himself, seeing him try new things and making friends.
I want to thank all the staff that work with my son for making his time at nursery so wonderful for him.

My child has been attending Echoes for a few months now and has settled very well. Staff are warm and welcoming and they do everything to make the children enjoy themselves. For my child, Echoes is now a home away from home. I also really like the fact that the nursery develops and shares activities
for parents and children to do at home. Very creative.

Our son has been in Echoes since he was 13 months old. He is now 4 and he has gone through all the different rooms within the nursery. In all these stages he has been looked after by different members of staff and he has fond memories of all of them, and the try to make changes and transition as smooth
as possible for the kids.
Our son has developed learning and social skills with the help of the staff members as well as being more independent when it comes to put his clothes on or eat by himself. Special shout to Joelma and Tasha who are looking after him in the pre-school room.
We get weekly updates of that the kids have been up to and learned, and we also get frequent individual updates about our son own development and activities, with accompanying photos.
The new Management Team is doing a good job after a period of adaptation and are always keen to help parents.
Our experience with our eldest has been very positive and we are about to reserve a place for our twins for Sep 2026

My child has been going to Echoes nursery for 6 months now.

The experience I have had so far with the staff and the administration has been very positive. It is my child's first nursery and I really want to say how much he has changed from his first day. When he started he cried for a few days,

but now he comes and asks me to take him to the nursery. The staff are so friendly, kind and accommodating. They care for every child individually and put in so much effort in planning and doing creative activities

The meals are amazing, nutritious and all dietary restrictions catered for. There is always efforts for constant improvement and all our feedback are heard. The staff really go the extra mile in keeping both the children and the parents happy

I could not recommend a better place and I am so happy about my decision of choosing Echoes.

Our daughter has been at the nursery for a year and a half and we have had a great experience here. Every staff member we have interacted with in each room has been caring and diligent, always sure to inform us of her activities and progress. The staff all show wonderful care for the children and work
through any issues when needed. Overall, we're very happy!

My son has been with Echos since he was 11 months, now nearly 2.5 years old. He is always busy doing fun activities with the staff or playing outside which he loves. He's not generally a great eater but they are great with mealtimes sitting with him and encouraging him (I've sat and watched this when
I've arrived early for pick up). The staff are great at updating the app and I feel like I've got such a good insight into his day. He goes to another nursery for part of the week and I certainly don't get as much information from them. The nursery itself always seems spotless and each staff member you come into contact with is friendly. I was given the option to put my son back into his other nursery for that extra day (we needed an extra day last minute and Echos were so helpful and got my son in and settled quickly), but decided to stay with Echos as it's a joy to take him there and collect him each day knowing he'll have had a brilliant time and been well looked after. Thank you!

What a wonderful environment for my granddaughter - she absolutely loves attending nursery here, and the resources prepared to engage the toddlers each day are amazing. The careful support she received whilst settling in was very impressive, and my daughter's comment after dropping her off this morning
was that she "hurtled in without a second glance!" Very happy grandma!

Our baby has been with this nursery since he was 7 months old. His key person keeps me informed about his day when I I pick him up and via the app which captures the daily schedule and highlighted moments of the day. The members of staff are friendly and caring. I like the variety of food the nursery
offers for the babies which I think is very important during the weaning period. The only improvement I could think of is the outdoor space. It is a little bit on the small side and north facing thus it is without any sun during any time of the day. With Charles Street carpark right opposite undergoing demolishment in the future, that outdoor space will be noisy and dusty. The nursery should be given access to the back side where current is out of use residential carpark. It is a much quieter, sunnier and more spacious spot for the outdoor playground.
Reply from Tayla Davies, Senior Nursery Manager at Echoes NurseryThankyou so much for your lovely feedback, it means a lot to us! It has been a pleasure to care for your child. We are currently making plans for the future for our outdoor space and will update parents at the time, Thankyou again.

Our kid has been going here since 13 months old and we are delighted by how well she has settled. Since week one she has been so happy with the nursery, excited to turn up, loving all the staff. The equipment is great - all high quality educational gear.
Her key worker in babies room was wonderful
and knew her inside out. She's now in the toddler room and has taken to that just as well with her keyworker who again is incredible and learned her moves in a few days. The nursery have taken our early potty training on seriously and have her nearly fully trained!
We know she learns and gets so much from Echoes from how she listens, talks, plays, dances (a lot), and all the little quirks that we didn't teach her!
Our only complaint is that food info is lacking and not forthcoming. I wish information on ingredients, nutritional information for meals was upfront as we like to understand what exactly she's eating. We can't comment on how 'good' the food is because we don't really know!
Reply from Tayla Davies, Senior Nursery Manager at Echoes NurseryThankyou for your lovely feedback! We will ensure more nutritional information is sent out to parents and carers. Thankyou for bringing this to our attention and its a pleasure to be taking care of your child.

All four of my children have attended Echoes Nursery, and I couldn't be more grateful for the care and support we have received. The staff have been truly amazing with each of my children, showing kindness, patience, and genuine dedication.
Two of my sons are autistic, and the team has been incredibly
supportive in helping with their development. They have guided us through starting the process of EHCP applications and arranging SALT (Speech and Language Therapy) support, which has been invaluable for my boys.
From the management to the teaching staff, everyone has gone above and beyond to ensure my children felt safe, included, and cared for. I always had peace of mind knowing they were in a nurturing environment where their needs were understood and met.
Echoes Nursery has been such a positive part of our lives, and I can't thank them enough for all the love, patience, and support they've shown our family. I would highly recommend them to any parent.

Current Review Score: 9.8 (9.811)

Overview of Review Score

The Review Score of 9.8 (9.811) out of 10 for Echoes Nursery is based on a) the Average Rating and b) the number of positive Reviews.

  1. The Average Rating is 4.8 out of 5 from 31 Reviews in the last 24 months.
  2. The score for the number of positive Reviews is 5.0 out of 5 from 30 positive Reviews in the last 24 months.

Detailed Breakdown of Review Score

The maximum Review Score for a Day Nursery is 10, which is made up from the Average Rating of Reviews (maximum of 5 points) and the Number of Reviews (maximum of 5 points) in the last 24 months:

  1. 5 Points are available for the Average Rating from all Reviews in the last 24 months. The Average Rating of 4.811 for Echoes Nursery is calculated as follows: ( (336 Excellents x 5) + (21 Goods x 4) + (1 Satisfactorys x 3) + (1 Poors x 2) + (11 Very Poors x 1) ) ÷ 370 Ratings = 4.811
  2. 5 Points are available for the number of Positive Reviews in the last 24 months. A Positive Review is defined as any Review with an 'Overall Experience' of '4' or '5' (out of a max rating '5'). The 5 Points relating to the number of positive Reviews for Echoes Nursery is based on 30 positive Reviews in the last 24 months and is calculated as per below:

The 5 points available are broken down as follows:

    1. 4 points are available for the first 20 Positive Reviews in the last 24 months; 3 points for the first Positive Review, 0.125 Points for each of the next four Positive Reviews, 0.05 Points for the next five Positive Reviews, and finally 0.025 Points for the next ten Positive Reviews. (1st = 3.000, 2nd = 0.125, 3rd = 0.125, 4th = 0.125, 5th = 0.125, 6th = 0.050, 7th = 0.050, 8th = 0.050, 9th = 0.050, 10th = 0.050, 11th = 0.025, 12th = 0.025, 13th = 0.025, 14th = 0.025, 15th = 0.025, 16th = 0.025, 17th = 0.025, 18th = 0.025, 19th = 0.025, 20th = 0.025) 3 + 0.125 + 0.125 + 0.125 + 0.125 + 0.05 + 0.05 + 0.05 + 0.05 + 0.05 + 0.025 + 0.025 + 0.025 + 0.025 + 0.025 + 0.025 + 0.025 + 0.025 + 0.025 + 0.025 = 4
    2. 1 point is available for the number of Positive Reviews reaching 20% of the number of registered child places in the last 24 months. If this number is partially reached, then that proportion of 1 point is given. eg a Day Nursery registered for a maximum of 50 child places has to reach 10 Positive Reviews to receive 1 point, if it has 7 reviews it will receive 0.7 points. 20% of the 67 number of registered child places is 13.4, which has been reached with 30 Positive reviews. Points = 1
  3. When a Review is submitted by someone who has previously submitted a Review, only the latest Review will count towards the Review Score.
  4. If a Day Nursery does not have a review in the last 24 months, then it will not have a Review Score.
