The Cottage Nursery

The Cottage Nursery is exceptional. My children started when they were 12 months old; my son is now 3 and is in Prep 1 Junior and my daughter left last summer and started school in reception September 2023. The outstanding level of care has been consistent throughout the years and in each room as the children progress in their development. Both of my children absolutely love their time at nursery; the staff are nurturing, loving and want each child to thrive in the amazing learning environment. The educational aspect of the nursery is unparalleled. Both of my children could read and write at 3 years old due to the nursery's strong emphasis upon phonics, reading and writing that begins when the children are very young. My daughter when she started school was hugely ahead of her peers because of the incredible foundation of learning she secured whilst at the cottage. My children have a passion for learning which the nursery has instilled in them and all the children.

My child has attended since 9 months old and has been in Badgers, Butterflies and is now in Pre-prep. Every single member of staff that has worked with my little girl has been excellent and she loves going to nursery. Her development since starting The Cottage has been incredible and I can not recommend them highly enough. They are incredible!

This is an incredible nursery that has a perfect balance of fun, creativity and education. I can’t believe the level of care, compassion and kindness the staff have. My daughter skips into the nursery every day excited to greet her friends and see the staff. Every day they have brand new activities with lots of outdoor play, playing with the nursery pets and trips. It feels like a family, every staff member knows the children so well and bends over backwards to find things they enjoy and like. My second daughter has just started and the process has been so much easier thanks to the amazing staff.

The Cottage Nursery staff are absolutely unbelievable! They always go above and beyond for all the children and not only do they do a great job of looking after the children but you can tell it’s more than just a job for these girls, they genuinely love and care for the children. Every day my kids look forward to attending nursery and they always come home with full bellies and big smiles on their faces!

My daughter has been at the nursery for just over a year now and I couldn’t be happier, we viewed several nurseries in the Trafford Park area and the cottage was by far the best and I am certain I made the right choice in nursery my daughter has thrived so much since starting here the staff are brilliant and the setting is beautiful could not recommend this place enough.

Both our children have attended and have thrived here. We feel very much part of The Cottage family, the staff go above and beyond every single day.

We are so delighted with the nursery. We moved our second child here and are delighted that we did. The staff are very caring and professional and the culture is clearly very good (something our first child’s nursery lacked!). Our baby is so happy and has been in the nursery for 10 months now. We recommend the nursery to everyone - it’s loving, kind and fun! Some days I wish I could stay!

My son has been at the nursery for a little over a year and is super happy there as are we with the nursery overall. The staff are amazing, the building/environment is clean and safe and all the kids always seem happy and occupied doing some kind of activity.

I looked at a number of different nurseries in the area and none come close to the standards of The Cottage.

Our third child currently attends The Cottage Nursery and we have been so happy with the care and support all three of our children have received. Our youngest child loves attending nursery and is so happy which is lovely to see. Now that our eldest child has started school, it really is evident how amazing her early education at nursery has been in giving her a head start at school.

We brought our second child here after we had heard good reviews from other parents and our only regret is that we didn't bring our first child here. The staff are warm, friendly and professional. They take their job seriously and really care about the children. I cannot recommend this nursery enough!

Having The Cottage Nursery as part of my “village” has made returning to work so easy. I rest in confidence and comfort that my little boy is being so very well looked after! The enrichment activities and opportunities for development that they provide, far exceed anything that I could provide myself in the long term.

Amazing nursery, both of my boys have attended the nursery, my youngest started in January 2024. All of the staff are amazing and make every day fun for the children with all the different activities they set up for them. They go above and beyond and both of my children have had so many great days and made great connections with the staff and children. We really couldn’t recommend this nursery enough!

The Cottage Nursery has been an amazing place for my daughter. The staff have been incredible with my energetic toddler, always having fun and creative things planned each day. The staff were really helpful when I needed to change my child's diet, due to some health problems she was having. The nursery really has a lovely nature and the staff have a lovely bond with the children

The Cottage is brilliant, everything about it is excellent; the staff, facilities, and communication with parents - I cannot fault it. My daughter loves attending and is already learning phonics and practising writing (she has just turned 3). The staff are fantastic and are really friendly and approachable and I feel completely at ease with them looking after my child. Can't speak highly enough of the establishment.

Brilliant nursery, lovely staff and setting and really great work done at every level/classroom to help with development and learning. My daughter has been there since 9 months old and they were great at helping to get her settled and also giving me reassurance that she was enjoying her time there, she’s now 3 and loves her days in nursery and can’t wait to go in. Amazing extra activities such as French and great trips out in the older classroom. Communication and updates are really clear and any queries I’ve ever had have always been dealt with quickly.

Our son started at The Cottage around a year ago after our daughter previously attended. It was the easiest decision we had to make to send our son there. The staff are all wonderful and the facilities are brilliant. The focus on education (which is incredible) was the original reason we picked the nursery for our daughter but the nursery is so much more than that. The relationships that our son has formed with the staff are lovely to see and have lasted as he has moved through the rooms. We get updates on the app about what he has been getting up to and he's always happy to go in and find his favourite toy in the morning. I cannot thank the staff or recommend this nursery enough - it is absolutely fantastic.
