The Cottage Nursery

Our third child currently attends The Cottage Nursery and we have been so happy with the care and support all three of our children have received. Our youngest child loves attending nursery and is so happy which is lovely to see. Now that our eldest child has started school, it really is evident how amazing her early education at nursery has been in giving her a head start at school.

We brought our second child here after we had heard good reviews from other parents and our only regret is that we didn't bring our first child here. The staff are warm, friendly and professional. They take their job seriously and really care about the children. I cannot recommend this nursery enough!

Having The Cottage Nursery as part of my “village” has made returning to work so easy. I rest in confidence and comfort that my little boy is being so very well looked after! The enrichment activities and opportunities for development that they provide, far exceed anything that I could provide myself in the long term.

Amazing nursery, both of my boys have attended the nursery, my youngest started in January 2024. All of the staff are amazing and make every day fun for the children with all the different activities they set up for them. They go above and beyond and both of my children have had so many great days and made great connections with the staff and children. We really couldn’t recommend this nursery enough!

The Cottage Nursery has been an amazing place for my daughter. The staff have been incredible with my energetic toddler, always having fun and creative things planned each day. The staff were really helpful when I needed to change my child's diet, due to some health problems she was having. The nursery really has a lovely nature and the staff have a lovely bond with the children

The Cottage is brilliant, everything about it is excellent; the staff, facilities, and communication with parents - I cannot fault it. My daughter loves attending and is already learning phonics and practising writing (she has just turned 3). The staff are fantastic and are really friendly and approachable and I feel completely at ease with them looking after my child. Can't speak highly enough of the establishment.

Brilliant nursery, lovely staff and setting and really great work done at every level/classroom to help with development and learning. My daughter has been there since 9 months old and they were great at helping to get her settled and also giving me reassurance that she was enjoying her time there, she’s now 3 and loves her days in nursery and can’t wait to go in. Amazing extra activities such as French and great trips out in the older classroom. Communication and updates are really clear and any queries I’ve ever had have always been dealt with quickly.

Our son started at The Cottage around a year ago after our daughter previously attended. It was the easiest decision we had to make to send our son there. The staff are all wonderful and the facilities are brilliant. The focus on education (which is incredible) was the original reason we picked the nursery for our daughter but the nursery is so much more than that. The relationships that our son has formed with the staff are lovely to see and have lasted as he has moved through the rooms. We get updates on the app about what he has been getting up to and he's always happy to go in and find his favourite toy in the morning. I cannot thank the staff or recommend this nursery enough - it is absolutely fantastic.

The staff are professional, friendly and accommodating. Our daughter loves going into nursery and is looked after and each staff member is very caring. Each room has been the same since she started. We are very happy with our choice.

We have been absolutely delighted with The Cottage Nursery. I love seeing and hearing the updates of what activities my little boy gets up to each day, and the staff who work there show so much care, attention and love to all the children. I feel that they’re really invested in my little boy’s development and helping him to have a great experience. I also think that they bring in a great range of external providers to help support their development, including music and sign language.

The Cottage Nursery is an excellent establishment. The staff patiently took care and brought out the best in my little girl who started at 9 months, having only ever been cared for by her mum and dad. She cried a lot and wouldn’t eat when she started, but with the excellent care and love the staff gave her, she’s a healthy, happy, giggly, cheeky little girl at day care now. A lovely team and wonderful place with lots of fun and activities foe the kids.

My daughter started at The Cottage in August 2023. The communication, facilities, organisation, and cleanliness is brilliant. My daughter is learning so much and more importantly she's enjoying it too. The staff have all been so friendly and helpful.

We tried our little boy with a childminder and a nursery and he didn’t settle. We have now tried The Cottage Nursery and he is improving every week. I felt confident in the staff from the very first visit and knew it was the right choice. The staff are so friendly and genuine and you can tell that they really do love the children and want to form bonds with them. I feel content leaving my little boy with them which for me is the most important thing. I would highly recommend the nursery!

My daughter started the nursery a few weeks ago, we were very nervous having not had anyone else look after her for longer than a few hours previously. The staff were very welcoming and were great in terms of putting our minds at ease and helping our daughter settle in. They do lots of different activities during the day and keep us up to date with photos and updates at the end of their day. Our daughter's key worker (who leads the baby room) has been brilliant in ensuring our daughter settles in and has quickly developed a strong bond with her, which has enabled her to be more comfortable and confident at nursery.

Excellent nursery - my son attended before going to school and my daughter still currently attends. Feel very confident in the care my children have and still receive here. Kind, friendly staff. The Cottage Nursery is a fantastic nursery. Both my children have gone here, one still being there and they have made our nursery journey amazing! As a mother sending a child to nursery can be really daunting but they have put me at ease with how well my children have been looked after. All the staff are very approachable and nothing is too much trouble. My children adore all the staff who work here and enjoy every minute whilst they are here.

We have had one child attend this nursery and currently have our youngest son in the Prep 1 class. We wouldn’t have sent him anywhere else. The staff are fantastic in all the rooms and the care for my sons has been outstanding. My youngest now knows all his initial sounds and can recognise all the letters of the alphabet. He can count confidently objects to 10 and knows his numbers up to 20. Our son is, most importantly, happy. He enjoys telling us about his day and has built such positive and nurturing relationships with the staff. When we collect our son, the room is always calm and the children are engaged in play. It’s lovely to see. Going home at night there isn’t a window where our son doesn’t receive a wave goodbye from all his previous rooms.
