Bright Horizons Bolton Day Nursery and Preschool supports children's education and development from 3 months to 5 years. Conveniently located near Bolton town centre with excellent bus links, the nursery also has a car park and buggy storage.

Tailored settling-in sessions are available to suit each family’s needs. In the baby room, the staff follow each child’s home routine closely for parents' peace of mind. The toddler room focuses on personal, emotional, physical, and educational development through play.

Preschoolers benefit from the Ready for School program, taught by a qualified preschool teacher, which includes reading, writing, and other essential skills.

The garden, divided into age-specific play areas, supports individual growth. Regular excursions to the local library, museum, and Queen's Park help children explore and connect with their community.

Children enjoy excellent facilities, including a vibrant baby sensory area, role-play and construction areas, and a spacious Learning Room for the Ready for School program. The outdoor play area features a climbing frame, and children enjoy regular walks outside the nursery.

I have been so impressed with Asquith Nursery since my son started in June 2017. From the moment you walk in, everyone says hello and is friendly and approachable. I can tell my son likes the fact that all members of staff know his name and are always smiling.


The team in his room have been amazing.

They are all very personable, knowledgeable and put me at ease. They have made my son's nursery experience a good one, which was especially important to me with him soon becoming a big brother. Thank you!

Lovely nursery, staff are amazing. My oldest child was here for 3 and a half years and he loved it. He learned so much and had loads of fun.
My 2-year-old loves coming to nursery, the staff were very supportive during the settling in period with both boys. The nursery is always clean and there are
lots of fun activities.
The menu is excellent and has really helped my boys to enjoy a variety of food. The best thing about the nursery is staff. They are all wonderful and it's always been good to know my boys are in the best hands when I am not with them.

Both of my children have been to this nursery and both have really enjoyed it and have come on so much in their development during their time here.
The staff are so friendly, warm and welcoming. I would highly recommend the nursery! I feel so lucky to have found fantastic quality child care.

My child has been in 2 nurseries previously, and in comparison this nursery is amazing. The best decision I made was to move my child to this setting. He started in January with learning difficulties in speech and since has come along fantastically, I can only attribute his amazing development to the
staff at the nursery. In the past 4 months, the development and change I have seen in my child has been a pleasure, he loves going to nursery. Everyone in the nursery is friendly, loving and caring. My child has a good relationship with all the nursery staff not just the staff in his room. The staff to child ratios are good, I know when I leave my child, he is not just taken care of but developed as well.
The nursery is clean, has fantastic resources and the children are well looked after. My child and I couldn't be happier.
I definitely Recommend if you are looking for a top standard nursery.

Our child is nearly 12 months old and has been attending nursery for 5 months. The positive and engaging attitude of the staff has helped our child developed into a happy, content and loving child. We believe the facilities and environment provided at the nursery is nurturing and educational in equal
measure. As parents, we look forward to collecting our child as we like to hear all the different things she has been learning. I have recommended the nursery to a number of people due to the fantastic experiences our child has here.

This is our second child who has come through the nursery. We attribute the excellent development of our first child to the input of the nursery. I could not speak more highly of all that the nursery provides and the way in which they provide it. The management of the nursery deserves special recognition.

My son has had a positive experience at Asquith Nursery. He is finding the interaction with staff very pleasant and the toys and stimulatory sensory areas very educational, helping him develop his sensory skills. He finds the staff very friendly and comfortable to be around and feels at ease in his
surroundings. One thing to note is the summary of his activities throughout the day seem repetitive and lack depth. There is no mention of what he doesn't like or found difficult throughout his day, thereby not knowing what areas he may need help with or further encouragement. Overall both the environment and staff are friendly, caring and look after him very well.

The staff always provide a very warm and friendly welcome upon arrival in the morning and through to evening collection of our little man. He has been going to nursery (room two) full time for four weeks and already we recognise his progress in personal development, balance/strength, motor skills and
his attempt at speech is also growing with his continual new sounds. He has mixed very well with other children and is clearly enjoying his time at nursery. Whilst being back working I feel very confident in the staff and the facilities and daddy does too.

This is quite simple for me. When I go to pick my son up in the evening, he is reluctant to come, runs around, plays with the staff calling their names, and is always smiling.
That tells me everything I need to know about his wonderful nursery. The staff are wonderful. His key worker is amazing and
my son is very fond of her. There is a human touch by the staff and if it is clear that they love their job. Most importantly, it's the leader who creates this atmosphere and so, thank you so much to the manager for everything.

From the start Asquith's were very welcoming. After my child moved he had an excellent key worker in his previous class, and now has an excellent supervisor and key worker. All 3 have been the kind of nursery teacher you would want for your child. Passionate, caring, innovative and most importantly
an advocate for the children. They will correct anything that is not the best standard, which puts my mind at ease.
The staffs observations skills are excellent and help with settling and understanding the children quickly. We are currently working with management on ensuring parent's evening, all parties and events where children are participating are emphasised more than the emphasis on open days ?Reception staff leaving or change in management, as a parent would like to know about parents evening and key event which directly affect the child first.

The nursery is always busy, has a happy feeling. The children always look happy and well cared for. My daughter attends 2 days a week and really enjoys it. The staff have been great at identifying her strengths. They have encouraged her speech. She is very good with colours, shapes etc. The nursery
have helped my Daughter to gain confidence. They are quick to help with any problems and recently I had some issues with sleep that the team in the nursery were able to help with.

Naomi has been with the nursery for 8 years and is Level 3 Qualified. Naomi has progressed from Nursery Room Leader to Assistant Manager through hard work and dedication to the nursery.
