Bright Horizons Bolton Day Nursery and Preschool supports children's education and development from 3 months to 5 years. Conveniently located near Bolton town centre with excellent bus links, the nursery also has a car park and buggy storage.

Tailored settling-in sessions are available to suit each family’s needs. In the baby room, the staff follow each child’s home routine closely for parents' peace of mind. The toddler room focuses on personal, emotional, physical, and educational development through play.

Preschoolers benefit from the Ready for School program, taught by a qualified preschool teacher, which includes reading, writing, and other essential skills.

The garden, divided into age-specific play areas, supports individual growth. Regular excursions to the local library, museum, and Queen's Park help children explore and connect with their community.

Children enjoy excellent facilities, including a vibrant baby sensory area, role-play and construction areas, and a spacious Learning Room for the Ready for School program. The outdoor play area features a climbing frame, and children enjoy regular walks outside the nursery.

This nursery offer a parent to stay at the first settling in session, unlike other places. Staff and management work with parents to aid in settling the child. My daughter is now confident attending nursery and is visibly happy to be there. She has built bonds with some staff and becoming more outgoing
socially. They encourage a child to learn at their own pace and my child's communication skills have really improved. Outside space could be bigger, although it is sufficient and a more varied menu, that is changed weekly or fortnightly would be good. Nursery is clean and spacious, with lots of spaces to explore. Management are approachable and professional. A camera/intercom system would be useful if nobody is in the office, so staff can see who is at the door, rather than asking if anyone is behind them. Fantastic nursery and recommend. My daughter looks forward to attending.

My toddler has moved rooms from baby to toddler and it was my biggest fear as she is so shy and not good with change but she's settling in so nicely. Staff are always on hand to help with anything that you need and answer any questions.

Amazing nursery and the new management team are perfect. Definitely seen a lot of changes from previous years. The girls work really well as a team and my child enjoys going to this nursery. My daughter hasn’t been at the nursery long, as her previous shut down with short notice, the staff at bright horizons have been amazing in the transition of Thea moving across. She absolutely loves going and I know this as she doesn’t cry anymore when I leave! The communication between staff and parents
is great and I know all that she is doing throughout the day with the app, a brilliant nursery that I’m sad I didn’t find sooner

I am currently enrolling my fourth child at the Bolton Bright Horizons. I can't compliment the nursery and their staff enough. The nursey ooze an air of calm and nothing is too much for anyone. They are professional yet fun and after experiencing other nurseries in the past this is head and shoulders

Before we sent my daughter to nursery we visited a few nurseries to make sure we were making the right choice. When we visited Bright Horizons we attended without having to make an appointment, we just turned up and were welcomed with open arms. From the minute we stepped into the nursery we knew it
was the right place to send our daughter. We both got a feeling that it was the right place for her to go and since she has attended she has learnt so much. The staff and management team are absolutely fantastic and take care of your children like they are their own. I very highly recommend this nursery to anyone - the meals they have on a daily basis are cooked fresh on-site and the menu is fantastic, you are kept updated with regular newsletters and daily rundowns of what they have been up to that day, stay and play visits are done throughout the year so you can check you child’s progress and have a freshly made cake and cup of tea. Needless to say my son has started here without hesitation - A1.

Naomi has been with the nursery for 8 years and is Level 3 Qualified. Naomi has progressed from Nursery Room Leader to Assistant Manager through hard work and dedication to the nursery.
