Wollaton House Day Nursery

Being first time parents, it has been a roller coaster journey in which Wollaton House has supported us through our childs development stages. We have seen her excel socially, emotionally, physically thanks to the staff at Wollaton House. The manager puts her heart and soul into the nursery and this shines through every child. Our child loves going to nursery, she is always smiling. A lovely place for a child to grow.

I am very happy me and my child's father chose this nursery. Staff are very friendly and my son has learnt and grown so much since coming to Wollaton House Day Nursery.

I cannot speak highly enough of Wollaton House Day Nursery. We have recently left the nursery due to relocation away from Nottingham and have missed the team and setting since moving. Both of our children, 4 years and 22 months, were with Wollaton House from 5 months and settled really well making close bonds with the carers. Wollaton House made so much effort to put us at ease as the children started and moved up to new rooms, as well as when we hit milestones whether it be teething, weaning, toilet training etc. The communication between nursery and parents was great and I always felt that we had the opportunity to discuss development, next steps and just the usual day to day “stuff”. I loved the structure that Wollaton House put around early years education, we have really seen the benefit of this with our eldest now that she is due to start school. The team got to know us as a family, and the nursery was a significant part of our early years with the kids.

The staff are incredible at Wollaton House Day Nursery. They are super friendly and genuinely care for every child and their families. After visiting several nurseries, I can honestly say there isn't one like this place.

Best nursery in the area by far. Very caring and clean. Good wholesome healthy food and there's always more for seconds! Excellent and bright, energetic staff and good staff retention which I find important as they become part of the family. Both male and female staff so it has a great vibe. Learning facilities are really good and it's in a house so feels familiar and comfortable. The children are listened to. We love it, wouldn't go anywhere else!

Both of my daughters have attended Wollaton House Day Nursery. My oldest is now at school and my youngest continues to attend the nursery. From the beginning, the staff and manager have always been welcoming, helpful and more than happy to have a chat with me to answer any questions or worries I may have. Both of my daughters enjoy going to nursery and taking part in the wide range of different activities they do on a daily basis. Choosing the right nursery for my daughter's was a difficult decision, however, from the first visit to Wollaton House I knew this was the right place for them. The nursery is such a caring environment with all of the staff getting to know the children and building up a safe, secure and nurturing family environment for the children. Both my daughters have grown in confidence and their social, physical and educational needs have been met to a high standard. I have recommended this nursery to 2 friends and now their children attend the nursery.

We have had 2 children attend Wollaton House Day Nursery and have been very pleased with the level and consistency of care they have received throughout their time there. The staff have always been helpful and cheerful working with each child.

My son has been attending Wollaton House Day Nursery for the last three years. Overall, I feel that this is an outstanding nursery with experienced management and staff that are motivated, loyal, caring and professional, placing the children’s well-being and development at the heart of everything they do. The nursery itself is bright, clean, tidy and safe and provides a great learning environment for the children. Since joining the nursery, my son has developed in so many ways. He is more confident, independent and balanced and looks forward to going to nursery every day. Our experience of Wollaton House Day Nursery has been fantastic and we would definitely recommend it to others.

They provide a warm and boundaried environment that makes the children feel safe and cared about!!

We were looking for a place at a nursery at very short notice in May. We knew that some of our NCT friends were taking their two sons there and they were very happy. Therefore, we were very pleased to hear that they had a place for our 2 year old son. From the very first day when I went to have a look around, it was a very warm and welcoming environment. The staff were very approachable, smiling and explained everything in detail. The staff is very understanding both with the kids and the parents; especially the first couple of weeks. My son's first language is not English, so we were very impressed when we were asked by the staff on how to pronounce a few words in my son's first language. They have also helped a lot him with his English! Wollaton House is a small nursery and has a real family feel and all the staff know all the children. My boy loves going to the nursery, even on the weekends and during summer holidays.

I cannot thank the management and staff enough for everything they do to make my girls flourish.

Our daughter has attended Wollaton House Day Nursery for the last year, since the age of 1. We are so pleased that we chose this nursery for her, she is happy and settled there and the staff are all lovely, friendly and caring. The nursery has a real family feel and all the staff know all the children. My little girl loves going to nursery and is developing and learning while she is there. They are also great at supporting me as a first time Mum and are happy to give me help and advice which is really appreciated. We feel so lucky that we've found such a great place for her.

Exceptional children’s nursery, where the staff are lovely and caring. The nursery has a homely feel to it with lots of play and educational activities for the children and a large outdoor play area. Also really liked the fact that they have a fully qualified teacher preparing the children for primary school.

The nursery team is well trained and very caring to the children. Both of my children enjoy going to this nursery!

My husband and I enrolled our 10mth old daughter at Wollaton House after 2 visits, one out of hours and one with the children present. We had already made up our minds after the first visit - Wollaton House is like a home away from home and immediately felt right! My husband also commented that he could easily see why it would be a fun and stimulating environment, giving us a baby's eye view to see all the things Wollaton House could offer our daughter. It is clean and bright but also cosy and reassuring with lots of different activities and toys for children to play with. The carers have always been smiling and warm, and the manager has been really accommodating with a pair of first-time parents who naturally want to make sure we are sending our child to the right place. We have no regrets and all indicators suggest our daughter loves it there and is extremely well looked after. We particularly loved that children are always the priority here and their safety and security are paramount.

From our first visit, I felt that Wollaton House Day Nursery would be the best setting for our daughter and she does indeed enjoy each day. The nursery is of an ideal scale, homely but also with excellent facilities inside and out. The range of activities on offer is vast and the nursery walls are bursting with the children’s latest drawings/crafts and achievements. Importantly, all the staff are extremely welcoming, caring and knowledgeable. They take a genuine interest in each child and tailor their care and learning objectives accordingly. I would recommend this nursery to friends.

I was completely happy with the ‘family feel’ at WH and I wouldn’t consider any other nursery for my children.

Wollaton House Day Nursery is a brilliant nursery. The staff are very friendly and it’s very clear as soon as you walk through the door that all of the children’s best interests are the key to each and every staff members priorities. The manager is very helpful and friendly which makes it easier when dropping off my nephew. They have a wide variety of freshly cooked food choices and cater for all dietary requirements. The new extension looks brilliant, creating more open space for the children whilst giving them space for outside play. I know that the parents are kept well informed daily and through frequent parent evenings. I would not hesitate to recommend sending any child to this nursery - brilliant care and service all round.
