Stepping Stones Day Nursery Ltd

Our child had been with this nursery for about 3-years, and we always found that the staff were friendly and very professional. They looked after the special dietary needs of our little one and ensured she always interacted well with the other children. She has come on leaps and bounds in all forms of her development, and special planning has helped in areas she's had issues with.

I don’t usually write reviews, but honestly, words cannot explain how thankful I am for the staff that was caring for my daughter for nearly 3-years here. My daughter was genuinely the girl that didn’t want to come home because she loved it so much here. She built a good relationship with pretty much all the staff members and learnt a lot indirectly through play. Every night she would come home and tell me all the exciting things she did and learnt and was so happy to go back the next day. I visited a lot of nurseries before finally deciding on Stepping Stones, and it was the best decision I made. I’ve recommended and will continue to recommend Stepping Stones Day Nursery.

Even if because of a change of circumstances I had to move my son to another nursery, and even been short time there; it was a very helpful and very good experience for us. They help me with everything, as was all new for me, and my son had an amazing experience. He has more confidence now, interact a lot more; it has been very good for him. Massive thank you to all the team. They are brilliant.

I am pleased with how the children are encouraged to be independent and the different activities they get involved in. Overall, everyone is genuinely friendly and welcoming.

Both my girls attended Stepping Stones Day Nursery in different years, however, the nursery maintained the same quality, staff are brilliant and attentive. I never felt worried about leaving the children because I knew they were looked after. Nothing but positive comments, and definitely recommend it to other people.

I would recommend Stepping Stones to any parents in a heartbeat. My little boy has been attending since he was around 9-months-old and he is now 4. He has amazing attachments to lots of the staff, speaks very highly of the catering manager (and has repetitively told me that my cooking isn’t as good as hers!), and loves all of the activities that he gets to do. He has such an amazing imagination, which is encouraged by the nursery staff, who I feel really know him and his quirks.

My son has attended this nursery since he was 6-months-old and is now due to have his last day (at nearly 5-years-old). Throughout the entire time, he has been attending this nursery, the care he has received has been exceptional. The staff make a real effort to get to know and understand your little one (and all of their quirks). For example, my son had a comforter, and they were sure to remember the comforters name and when he was likely to need it. As a single mum (and this is my first child), the nursery staff have always supported me in supporting the needs of my child too, providing extra advice and guidance when I need it, and even supporting me with external referrals. Every day that I drop him off, I know that he is being cared for, loved and supported. It's extremely easy to book additional sessions when I need them, and the nursery grounds are well kept and secure. Highly recommend this nursery!

These wonderful people have taken care of my son since he was 6-months-old and have helped him develop into a confident and articulate young boy. All the staff are very professional, and there is a warm, family environment throughout each stage. I am very pleased we found this nursery and will be sending any of our future children here.

It was a really good experience for my child. Unfortunately, we had to leave England and my son really miss the nursery. Great staff, care and activities. I can't recommend it enough. Thank you for your care and a really great time.

Our daughter has been going to stepping stones for over 2 years now and I can thoroughly recommend it. Since day one we have felt so comfortable with the staff and facilities at Stepping Stones, and have had zero complaints throughout our time there.

Both my children have attended Stepping Stones and have recommended them to others. The staff are all amazing and helpful, from nursery teachers to the front desk and the office/management. My child has a strong bond with his teachers, and he always looks forward to going to nursery. The communication is fantastic, in particular, the development records and images they share securely online. The security is fantastic, and I know my child is safe in their hands.

My son has attended Stepping Stones for almost 2-years now, and it has been great for his development. From helping him to eat and drink independently to potty training; the staff are caring and encouraging, and my son loves going to nursery. Through the pandemic, they have always kept us informed really quickly about what was going on, and I would recommend Stepping Stones to anyone looking for childcare for their little ones! Hand on heart, the best nursery I’ve ever come across. My kids have been to 4 different ones in the city, and all have been moved due to the cleanliness and the staff. Never had a problem with this nursery, only positive ones! The nursery is fun, bright, clean and routined. All the children parents and staff are lovely. I have massive anxiety and settled at ease here. Very secure, surveillance everywhere, and parking onsite, so no need to crossroads. This nursery has always done its best to help me and my babies! I am gutted my son is leaving but overjoyed to have one coming up soon, and one comfortably continuing their time here. I’ve now been offered a place at my son's school nursery for my child attending Stepping Stones and have turned it down due to the preference of it here! Amazing staff, amazing communication, and amazing nursery! Love them all (also nice to see a male nursery nurse, which I’ve never seen before, who is as lovely as the girls).

My daughter went to Stepping Stones day nursery for 4 years, i.e. from baby room to pre-school. She had a great time. Quite pleased with her progress and achieving all her milestones. The nursery staff is amicable, and the quality of food for the children is good quality and nutritious. The outside area is big for the children to run around.

Because of the excellent education in pre-School, my daughter managed to clear her assessment for a certain High School.

I would highly recommend Stepping Stones Day Nursery & Pre-school to all the parents looking for nurseries for their children. They are fantastic and highly professional.

Both my children enjoyed their time at Stepping Stones, and I couldn't have asked for a better experience. If you're looking for childcare, I would definitely visit the setting; you won't be disappointed!

Unfortunately, it is a bit far from our house that's why we have to move our daughter from, but if not, she would definitely still be going here.

Simply the best nursery ever! I can't find the right words to describe how good and amazing Stepping stones for my children! A lot of happiness, smiles and love that I've seen in my little ones after nursery. I would recommend them to everyone! Full with activities, toys and different rooms. Really well-organised nursery. Words can’t describe how happy we were when our son was enrolled in Stepping Stones. He still loves and talks about the time he had spent there with his friends and the professional and friendly staff they had. We compared a lot of nurseries around Nottingham and Stepping Stones always stood first based on our experience. The owners were always helpful, wonderful people who don’t hesitate to go the extra mile when needed. We both worked full time and were very comfortable leaving him at Stepping Stones and he himself loved going there. Our son is a very confident boy and a lot of it came from this nursery, we would recommend this place to anyone. Special thanks to staff members in blue room 1.
