Ofsted rated 'Outstanding' Paper Moon Day Nursery (November 2022) is a purpose built nursery with a bright and modern interior that enables children to learn in a caring environment. All early years practitioners are highly-trained and committed to quality care and education, assisted by an outdoor play area, meals freshly prepared on site and a bio-metric security system.

My son started nursery in September 2020, we were amazed at the support he received. Within the first few weeks, the Management (nursery manager) advised on additional support for my son and what support is available. The staff are all welcoming and very friendly and take the time to discuss what my
son has done during the day. Staff are supportive of his additional needs. My son enjoys going to Paper Moon and as parents, we feel that he is excelling and developing in many aspects of his life. Very pleased with this nursery.

My Son has been attending this nursery for the last two months and I have to say I am very impressed. My son previously went to another nursery which I didn't feel was supporting my son enough. However, from day 1 the staff have been very welcoming and supportive, my son hasn't cried once going or leaving
the nursery and he is always very excited to go and comes out very happy too (and tired). They do a lot of different activities and I always hear new things they have done. The staff are always very enthusiastic and very positive whether it's early in the morning or in the evening. You can see the staff love their jobs and love seeing each child develop. The staff listen to you and take on board your concerns and make sure they focus on this for your child and always provide regular updates/photos regarding your child's progress through their app and face to face. I am really happy with this nursery and will be sending my daughter here too.

Paper Moon is a brilliant nursery! Since my son returned to nursery in July I can’t give enough praise to the manager and all the ladies at Paper Moon, returning to nursery after being off for over 3 months was a big adaptation for him. Every single morning he is welcomed with open arms by everyone
who opens the door for him to come in! The steps that have been put in place within the nursery during the pandemic is outstanding. The support that they give to parents and the children is the best and no matter what you know you can pick up the phone and give them a call regardless! Every single one of them should be proud of how hard they work every single day, I definitely made the right decision in picking the nursery that I did! Keep up the great work.

The day when my 9-month-old was supposed to start his nursery lockdown too started. After many if and buts, I decided to put my son back to nursery few weeks back. Throughout the lockdown time, the staff made sure that we received timely updates on guidelines, activities to be tried at home etc. Staff
at the nursery are very friendly and approachable. They make sure as a parent I get all the information in terms of observation, pictures etc. I really like the observations I can view on the app, those give us a relief and security that he is indeed enjoying his time at nursery. Even though my son screams when I drop him there but he enjoys being there and playing with friends.

The staff of the nursery are very helpful to my little children. They always take care of them when they wash, to go to the toilets and also help them eating and playing. In addition, my son's learning and understanding are much improved while they are at the nursery.

Staff are always so polite and helpful. The boys love all the staff and are enjoying going to nursery to learning new things and play with all their friends. The nursery is always very clean and the boys love the food they are given.

My daughter has been coming to this nursery for several months and I have been really happy with both my experience and, more importantly, hers. All of the staff are friendly and approachable, and always give me feedback at the end of the day which I really appreciate. I love receiving the updates on
the app where I can see what she’s up to during the day. It is clear that the staff are not only good at what they do, they enjoy it and they make sure each child feels important. I was slightly uneasy at first about sending my daughter back during COVID, but the team have put my mind at ease with their risk assessments and what has been put in place. My daughter really loves coming and speaks about the staff in high regard. Thank you, Paper Moon!

My son has been attending Paper Moon since he was 1 in the baby room, now in the preschool room he is still very happy and very much enjoys nursery life. The staff have always been from the start very supportive and always have shown a genuine interest in my son's development and care. Throughout the
lockdown the staff were in regular contact providing parents with useful information on activities to do at home, even organising zoom calls for the children to still see and speak to their friends. Changes have been made since the reopening of the nursery to ensure the safety of your child and visitors to the nursery. It is very reassuring to see these changes put into place as you know your child is in a safe and healthy environment. The staff are always friendly and always approachable with anything you wish to discuss. Overall an excellent nursery.

Great nursery! Staff have always been lovely, my daughter loves them all. Brilliant extra curriculum activities such as Yoga and Spanish.
The nursery is always clean and tidy. The meals have always been varied.

The ladies in the baby room are lovely, they welcomed my son with open arms. He settled within a week or two. My son loves the staff in his room and loves going to nursery. They are supportive in his learning and myself with checking on him.
I am satisfied that he's well stimulated there also.

Everyone is very friendly and my grandson settled in very well and loves going. No crying and I feel good when I leave him and I am not worried, so yes, all round it is good.

My son has been here since he was 10 months old, he started in the baby room and is now in pre-school, starting school in September. He has loved every moment being there. He has gained lots of confidence playing with other children in a safe and free play environment. My son is currently finishing
his autism assessment, staff are very supportive and understanding. Couldn't be a better nursery.

Paper Moon in Lenton is a small and cozy nursery. All of the staff are friendly and caring and because of the size and the location you get to know everyone and they all get to know your child. Leaving my first child there from the age of 1 was daunting but I could soon see that he was safe and well
looked after. He is always doing lots of fun things, creating, learning and spending plenty of time getting fresh air in the wonderful outdoor play area.
I really like the style of learning that the nursery uses, there is lots of praise and encouragement of good behavior and a lot of the techniques have worked well at home too. We get a book completed daily with all the relevant care information along with a little write up on what they have been up to and we also get electronic updates and photo's on the parent app. Staff go above and beyond to accommodate children's individual needs and are approachable and quick to work with parents to address any issues or concerns.

My daughter started at Paper Moon in September 2019 when I returned to work after being on maternity leave for a year. Choosing the right nursery was extremely important to me and I visited numerous nurseries before making my decision. The staff at Paper Moon have, from the offset, been thorough in
everything they do and nothing to help my daughter has ever been too much to ask of them. Working in a primary school myself and also having many friends who work in childcare settings, I feel Paper Moon provides an individually tailored nursery and pre-school experience in which children are cared for in a safe and familiar environment. Whilst attending the nursery my daughter has been given every opportunity and has been supported by staff members to develop her self-confidence, social awareness and learning.
I am so confident in this nursery that I have been more than happy to recommend them to good friends of mine who’s children also now attend here.

The staff at Papermoon nursery are extremely friendly, caring and very supportive. My child always shares what she’s been doing at nursery and it’s always nice to hear how well the staff build in the Early Learning Goals through fun-filled hands-on experiences for the children. My son has just started Paper Moon, and although he wobbles in the morning he loves the nursery. I am a teacher and wouldn't choose just anywhere. The staff at Paper Moon have been so caring, thoughtful and attentive to my son. He knows them by name after just 2 weeks (he's only 2) and I completely
trust the staff to care for him at the highest level.
I cannot thank them enough and would absolutely recommend them to anyone. Well done and keep up the good work!

My now 10-month-old has been in the care of this nursery since June and she absolutely loves her time there each week. I was nervous leaving her as she was a premature baby and is still catching up on her development but all of the staff understood my concerns and put my mind at ease. As soon as we
walk through the door, my little one starts beaming as she loves playing with the ladies in the baby unit. The care provided by the staff is excellent, as are the facilities and food. We even get a little diary completed each session so I know exactly what's happened through each day.

My Grandson has been at this nursery since he turned 1 and is now 3 1/2, he goes all year round. He loves it. All of the staff know each child by name and all staff are approachable.
There is always plenty of activities for them and you can turn up any time of the day and the children are always
laughing and playing.


The staff work at the child's ability whilst encouraging them. My Grandson has his own little needs e.g struggles with speaking and all the staff have worked with him and have welcomed the speech therapist into the nursery to assist as well.


He loves the play area which is full of exciting toys, climbing frames, slides and sandpits and I wouldn't want him to be anywhere else.
