Bright Horizons Nottingham Day Nursery and Preschool (formerly Asquith Nottingham Day Nursery & Pre-school) is a bright purpose-built nursery offering childcare for children aged 3 months to 5 years.

Being located in the David Lloyd Club the children are able to utilize and benefit from the soft play area, tennis courts and swimming lessons which all the children enjoy.

There is a large refurbished garden area that includes age-appropriate spaces for the children to enjoy and explore which enables the staff to use the outdoor area to extend the children's knowledge and development.

Their unique Healthy Hearts and Minds activities provide inspirational and engaging learning experiences using the innovative and well established Boogie Mites and myHappymind programmes.

An enriching Ready for School programme gives every child the opportunity to gain knowledge and confidence to thrive in school and beyond.

The link with David Lloyd Health Club entitles parents to pre and post-natal consultations with a qualified Natal fitness trainer.

All parents registered with the nursery are entitled to a David Lloyd consultation which will support fitness and wellbeing post-pregnancy.

The nursery provides on-site car parking and is situated between two main hospitals, close to local amenities and on a major bus and tram route.

The nursery was rated 'Good' by Ofsted April 2017.

Very impressed with Asquith Nottingham Day Nursery. Feel my child is well looked after and any concerns are raised immediately. Would recommend to anybody as its clear to me you get what you pay for.

I was hesitant with the nursery for my son as he takes a while to sleep- he won't sleep unless rocked. However, the staff of the nursery have been amazing with my son and getting him to sleep. The staff are very attentive and great with my son as well as the other children. This is a lovely nursery
with wonderful and caring staff.

Very rarely does my daughter say "no" when asked if she wants to go to nursery. This should be taken as a testament to how much she enjoys going because of the people she interacts with. After a few teething problems at the nursery the staff and management were helpful in resolving them. It is a place

The nursery overall is very good. There are lots of activities for kids which could be a bit more oragnised. My two boys enjoyed being here. The staff are very friendly and helpful especially in the baby room and toddlers. There are fruit and drinks for kids to bring home almost every day that the boys
always feel excited to discuss what they can have on the day. The outdoor area is not extremely big but with the sandpit it is always an attraction for kids. The swimming class which is associated with David Lloyds club is also a very good alternative for kids! All are very good!

My son has been attending Asquith Nottingham Day Nursery since he was 12-14 months. He is now 38 months he's enjoyed his whole (1st school) experience and cannot wait to get up and get there, as he would say, go school and play. The facilities have been perfect from 12-38 months, the staff, amazing,
from the office to the classrooms. 1st classroom and his 2nd classroom.

This nursery offers my child much stimulation and one to one. She has strived very well. I am in complete awe at how well they support her with everything that she needs to develop.

Job Title: Nursery Manager

My name is Krupa and I am the manager at Bright Horizons Nottingham. I started my journey with Bright Horizons in 2021 along with my children who attend the nursery. Whilst completing my BA Hons Degree in Childhood Studies in 2009, I knew very early on that I wanted my career path to be within the Early Years sector.


I have worked in numerous schools, children's centres, Private Education and orphanages, where I have been able to learn and develop in all my roles and I believe that I am still learning every day.


My passion is to make a difference to the children and the team I work with, along with supporting them.


I truly believe that our environment is the child’s first educator and by having core principles children are able to flourish and be ready for the wider society. I am excited to be working at Bright Horizons Nottingham and be part of developing this welcoming nursery further.
