Children 1st Newark Nursery School

My daughter is comfortable and confident when attending nursery. I genuinely believe this is down to the positive environment created by the team who work at the venue. It is great to know my child is being supported in her learning journey and is encouraged to socialise, vocalise and experiment in safe surroundings.

The staff are very understanding and accommodating where necessary, and it really seems that they form great relationships with all children and families. Our girls love it at Children 1st, and we feel very lucky to have a found a nursery that we have such confidence in.

My little boy started the nursery in Sept 2019 at only 9.6 months old and I couldn't be happier with the staff, they are extremely friendly and approachable and I can see my little boy loves it.

Being new parents to the nursery system, we could not praise a nursery more highly. Our little boy, who is 14 months, has taken to nursery incredibly well and is visibly excited when getting out of the car and seeing the nursery building. He waves and blows kisses to the staff whilst giving them the biggest smiles each day, which really shows us how much he is enjoying his time with them. I am so impressed with how quickly he is learning new practical skills and how his mannerisms and social skills are developing. It's such a relief to be able to drop him off at a nursery we have complete trust and faith in.

Friendly staff who take an interest in each child. Fantastic outdoor space that is used all year with different activities to engage the children’s imagination.

Lovely welcoming nursery with lots of outdoor space which is used daily. My daughter loves going and has a great relationship with the nursery staff. Her speech and confidence has improved massively since going for just a few hours a week.

Absolutely superb nursery. My daughter absolutely loves her time at nursery, the staff are so friendly and have taught her so much. The food provided is fabulous so much so that my little girl suggested I work with the chef to learn how to cook. So much space and activities outside and a fabulous outdoor enclosed classroom. I love the electronic log so that I can see what she is getting up to and regularly have a lesson myself about the topics covered. Highly recommended.

Amazing nursery. Both of my children go here. The nursery has great facilities, especially the outside area. The staff are always very friendly and my children love them. They learn lots and my oldest now knows lots of songs, numbers, colours and his alphabet. We have a nursery open which is 5 doors down from our house and still take our children to this nursery as it is well worth the drive and time.

The staff are excellent and the facilities (including the huge garden) are great.

I believe are nursery provides a stable and safe setting that provides excellent care and educational facilities. I am pleased with the service provided and am happy to recommend to other parents.

The nursery provides a stimulating and nurturing environment for my daughter to develop and progress. The nursery provides a high level of care and activities. I would like to see more Eylog recordings.

Very happy with this nursery. We have had one child go through to school and our second child is still here, about to go into The Early Years setting. The staff have been great with both children, really catering to their needs. The two children have very different personalities and traits, but I feel that the care they have received has suited them both individually. Would definitely recommend this nursery to anybody looking for a nursery for their child.

He particularly enjoys being outside and the nursery garden is excellent to facilitate this.

My son recently started here at Children 1st @ Newark and I've been amazed at how well the staff have supported him with settling in. They take each child's development individually. The staff are so friendly and supportive, I come away feeling as though he has had a unique experience every day. The outdoor space is amazing, I love the approach of getting them outside every day in the fresh air. Brilliant staff and brilliant experience for children.

I would highly recommend this nursery. The staff are really caring and I always feel my daughter is in safe hands.

My son has settled really well in his placement here. The staff are all caring and welcoming. The environment is well resourced, always clean and tidy. I would recommend using the nursery to anyone with children at this age, I am more than happy with the level of care and access to activities my son has. Keep up the good work.

From the very first time we set foot in this nursery, we knew we wanted our little girl (baby at the time) to attend. As an only child she has come on in leaps and bounds and relates so easily to other children. All the staff are absolutely wonderful and are so involved with everything that happens in the nursery from day to day. For such a big nursery, we feel we have a very personal experience. My daughter has been at Children 1st for just over 5 months. To say she enjoys it there is an understatement. Her speech has improved, she eats well and most importantly, I know she is in good hands. The staff are all fantastic, really helpful and friendly. I would definitely recommend this nursery to anyone looking for the best nursery around. The nursery itself is beautiful both indoors and out.

The staff in the baby and toddler room always welcome my son with open arms and a friendly and caring manner and he is always happy to go to them. When we go to collect him he doesn't want to leave and will run around showing us all the things he likes. The staff all appear to know him well and what his likes and dislikes are (e.g if he is grumpy on drop off they know to get a car or show him the birds out the window).

The facilities are great with a huge garden area which I look forward to him using when he is a bit bigger.

In terms of development, my son has come on leaps and bounds since joining and I feel that the nursery has really helped with that. I would recommend this nursery to anyone.
