Children 1st Newark Nursery School

It's lovely to see the bonds my daughter has made with all the staff in the early years room, especially one member of staff who she talks about every day! My daughter is always asking when she is next at nursery because the nursery team and children have become her second family and they make sure each day is fun and full of learning. I honestly can't thank them enough for the time, care and love they put into every single child in their care!

We have recently moved our baby and toddler here and are very happy with the care that they are given whilst at nursery. They come home clean, dry, well fed and, most importantly happy. We love reading the daily diaries to see what they have been up to - both in terms of learning and in terms of their care during the day (meals/sleeps/changes)! The staff are lovely and friendly and obviously care deeply about the children that they look after. The nursery itself is set in fantastic grounds with lots of space and provision outdoors for learning and exploration, as well as beautiful, newly-refurbished rooms indoors with lots of lovely equipment for the children to use in their play.

My son absolutely loves attending nursery and never complains about having to go. He eats very well, has lots and lots of fun playing inside and outside, he's made lots of friends, not only with the other children but with the lovely staff members too. He's also very well developed for his age which is largely down to the excellent learning and education provided here.

We all love Children 1st @ Newark Day Nursery, my daughter never wants to leave. We love the fantastic outdoor space. Everyone feels like family. When My daughter is here I know I never have to worry about her!

From the moment we looked round to now (nearly a year later), we have been welcomed by friendly, professional staff. My son is involved in a range of activities and experiences, from sitting on a tractor that visited the nursery, to baking, to celebrating current events. One of the main things that attracted us was the amazing outdoor area which is used to its potential - my son loves being outside so it was perfect for us!

My daughter started here about a year ago and we have been extremely pleased and happy since. The setting and outdoor space really drew us towards the nursery, I love how much outdoor space and time the children have. My daughter walks in happily every day, there are never any issues or concerns, she is very happy and content here.

The managers and the team work tirelessly to bring fun, excitement and creativity into the children's lives. We are very grateful. Thank you.

We love this nursery, and so does our little one, who has been attending since 12-months-old; he is now 2-years 4-months. Our older boy attended from age 1- 4. The staff are friendly, knowledgeable and they have a great rapport with the children.

My daughter has been at the nursery since the beginning of this year, and she is loving every minute! We feel that she is in great hands with caring, attentive and bright staff who provide fantastic individualised care and with whom our daughter has bonded quickly. The general environment in the nursery is one of fun and learning, with all the various rooms of children engaged in activities which are great for their development and clearly enjoyable for them. The outdoor space is fantastic! The staff are incredibly understanding, personable and responsive, which is a massive relief to parents. It is wonderful to pick up a happy, clean and stimulated child from nursery each day!

We could not ask for a better nursery for our little boy. His communication skills and confidence have come on leaps and bounds since he started here. He loves going and talks about his teachers and friends with so much enthusiasm and joy. I would highly recommend.

The building and grounds offer what other nurseries in the area simply can not compete with! Seconds into our initial visit years back, we fell instantly in love with the outside play space, woodland and huge fort, which I could foresee our little boy enjoying with his buddies, and he has! Thank you to each staff member who has supported not only him but myself and my husband throughout this journey.

A fantastic setting for our daughter. She is thriving and loves going; we never have any issues. Good feedback from the staff, and they know each child individually. Great outdoor space which is well used and outdoor play is always encouraged. We would not send her anywhere else

My daughter has been attending this nursery for almost a year; she started when she was one. She loves going to the nursery; drop-off time is always very easy because she enjoys attending so much. Very early on after she started attending, we noticed how quickly she was developing and learning and how much more confident she was becoming. The staff genuinely care for her, and I feel that she is in very safe and capable hands whilst she is at nursery. The facilities and activities put on for the children are excellent, and I feel that she is very well stimulated and encouraged when she is there. She always comes home clean and in a great mood because she has had so much fun! The staff are wonderful, very accommodating, friendly and professional. I would absolutely recommend this nursery to anyone - I think it would be difficult to beat!

I am absolutely delighted that I decided to send my son to Children 1st @ Newark, he has the best time, and I could not have asked for more engaging and caring staff. It’s very reassuring to know that he’s in good hands.

This is the best nursery in the area. Due to moving around in the military, my two boys have been moved around four different nurseries, but this one is outstanding. The garden and the covered outside playrooms are fantastic, with many activities, equipment, toys and hidden gardens to burn off their energy. The staff are caring and understand how hard it is to juggle a busy lifestyle and children. They are flexible and try their hardest to accommodate change, which I love.

A great setting for any child, my daughter joined from age 1yrs and it's been the best building block. She is developing so well and enjoys going to nursery every day which is a credit to the staff. They adapt with short notice times and help parents as much as possible. Communication is key for a full-time mummy, and Children 1st do that very well.

With two children at the nursery, they both are extremely happy and love going to nursery. They are teaching them fundamental skills in their development but doing it a fun, exciting way. Staff are lovely, and I would highly recommend this nursery to any parent.

All of the staff at Breedon House in Newark are brilliant. My daughter loves going to nursery and always has lots of stories to tell about her day. I am entirely confident that every day she is in fantastic hands which really helps me relax when I'm at work. I can't thank the staff enough for all the care and attention my daughter has when she's there.

I am really pleased that we chose this nursery for our son. The facilities especially the outside space are fantastic and our little boy loves it. The nursery do a broad range of activities for the children and provide opportunities for parents to become involved. Our son has built up great relationships with the staff and other children and is very happy. The environment is caring, nurturing and feels like a home from home which provides an excellent foundation for future education and life skills.
