Children 1st Newark Nursery School

My daughter has been at the nursery since the beginning of this year, and she is loving every minute! We feel that she is in great hands with caring, attentive and bright staff who provide fantastic individualised care and with whom our daughter has bonded quickly. The general environment in the nursery is one of fun and learning, with all the various rooms of children engaged in activities which are great for their development and clearly enjoyable for them. The outdoor space is fantastic! The staff are incredibly understanding, personable and responsive, which is a massive relief to parents. It is wonderful to pick up a happy, clean and stimulated child from nursery each day!

It’s a great nursery with loads of outdoor space and a lovely homely feel.

We could not ask for a better nursery for our little boy. His communication skills and confidence have come on leaps and bounds since he started here. He loves going and talks about his teachers and friends with so much enthusiasm and joy. I would highly recommend.

The building and grounds offer what other nurseries in the area simply can not compete with! Seconds into our initial visit years back, we fell instantly in love with the outside play space, woodland and huge fort, which I could foresee our little boy enjoying with his buddies, and he has! Thank you to each staff member who has supported not only him but myself and my husband throughout this journey.

A fantastic setting for our daughter. She is thriving and loves going; we never have any issues. Good feedback from the staff, and they know each child individually. Great outdoor space which is well used and outdoor play is always encouraged. We would not send her anywhere else

My daughter has been attending this nursery for almost a year; she started when she was one. She loves going to the nursery; drop-off time is always very easy because she enjoys attending so much. Very early on after she started attending, we noticed how quickly she was developing and learning and how much more confident she was becoming. The staff genuinely care for her, and I feel that she is in very safe and capable hands whilst she is at nursery. The facilities and activities put on for the children are excellent, and I feel that she is very well stimulated and encouraged when she is there. She always comes home clean and in a great mood because she has had so much fun! The staff are wonderful, very accommodating, friendly and professional. I would absolutely recommend this nursery to anyone - I think it would be difficult to beat!

I am absolutely delighted that I decided to send my son to Children 1st @ Newark, he has the best time, and I could not have asked for more engaging and caring staff. It’s very reassuring to know that he’s in good hands.

This is the best nursery in the area. Due to moving around in the military, my two boys have been moved around four different nurseries, but this one is outstanding. The garden and the covered outside playrooms are fantastic, with many activities, equipment, toys and hidden gardens to burn off their energy. The staff are caring and understand how hard it is to juggle a busy lifestyle and children. They are flexible and try their hardest to accommodate change, which I love.

A great setting for any child, my daughter joined from age 1yrs and it's been the best building block. She is developing so well and enjoys going to nursery every day which is a credit to the staff. They adapt with short notice times and help parents as much as possible. Communication is key for a full-time mummy, and Children 1st do that very well.

With two children at the nursery, they both are extremely happy and love going to nursery. They are teaching them fundamental skills in their development but doing it a fun, exciting way. Staff are lovely, and I would highly recommend this nursery to any parent.

All of the staff at Breedon House in Newark are brilliant. My daughter loves going to nursery and always has lots of stories to tell about her day. I am entirely confident that every day she is in fantastic hands which really helps me relax when I'm at work. I can't thank the staff enough for all the care and attention my daughter has when she's there.

I am really pleased that we chose this nursery for our son. The facilities especially the outside space are fantastic and our little boy loves it. The nursery do a broad range of activities for the children and provide opportunities for parents to become involved. Our son has built up great relationships with the staff and other children and is very happy. The environment is caring, nurturing and feels like a home from home which provides an excellent foundation for future education and life skills.

My son attends nursery three times a week and he loves it. The staff are nurturing and caring and I feel 100% happy leaving him in their care. The activities are educational and help his development and he is learning to interact well with other children. Nursery is helping him to become a confident child and I truly believe it is providing a fantastic grounding for future education and building life skills.

My two little girls love this nursery, they enjoy going, talk happily about what the did each day and get a decent education and a healthy diet. Overall, we love and recommend it highly.

The staff team are very caring and encouraging to both my son and us as parents. We have noticed developments each time he comes home which is great!

From the minute you walk through the door, all staff greet you and the children with a warm welcome. The home-made food smells delicious. The kids look forward to going and walk into each of their classes with the confidence and they both have built great bonds with their key workers. I cannot fault in any way.

The care that my son receives is amazing. He is always happy to attend nursery and I am impressed with his level of learning and the variety of activities that he does.

I am so pleased that my daughter has settled so well at Children 1st Newark. It makes my day easier knowing that she is happy to be at nursery when I drop her off in the morning. I love hearing all about her day when she gets collected and reading the details about her eating and sleeping in the nursery diary. I really do feel like I chose the best environment for my daughter and genuinely can't wait for her to grow up there by moving into different rooms (classes).
