Kindred Lowdham Nursery and Pre-school

My son started with Alphabet House in Oct 2021 at 10 months old. The staff were fantastic at helping him to settle in, with the same people each day he quickly became familiar, comfortable, and happy to go to them each morning. We had one occasion where he was under the weather and I needed to fetch him but it was over an hour before I could get there. The team were amazing, reassuring me and looking after him as if he were their own until I got there. Couldn’t recommend them anymore.

I cannot thank the staff in the baby room at Alphabet House enough for making my daughter's first month at nursery so amazing! Even though she’s missed a few days of nursery due to illness she has come on so much in this time and settled in so well. I love that all members of staff take the time to talk you through the day on pick up so you get an insight into what they’ve been doing/eating etc and for a first-time-mum who’s had massive ‘mum guilt’ about sending their 1-year-old to nursery this has been so helpful. A special mention to several members of staff, in particular, you’re all so lovely! Thank you Alphabet House!

My daughter has been going to Alphabet House for the last 5 months since she started at 8 months of age. We’ve been so impressed with the nursery, in particular, the staff have been great. Not only at making our daughter’s time at nursery fun and rewarding but also at reassuring us as parents that she’s in safe hands and they genuinely care about her.

I have 2 children at Alphabet House and they both started attending from about 7 months. It's been so nice to watch my eldest progress through the rooms and develop. All of the staff are so friendly and you can tell they care about the children. They plan different activities for each day and I really enjoy looking at the photos on the online learning portal. Nothing is too much trouble and they cater for my children's individual needs.

The staff are outstanding and make every day varied and fun for my child. He has developed so quickly since he started attending this nursery. The food is healthy and varied, and the children are encouraged to make their own choices by self serving food (at an appropriate age). Communication from the staff caring for my son each day is fantastic. This also applies to any communication with the manager, with quick replies to any queries. I couldn't recommend this nursery highly enough.

We always had confidence our boys were in safe, capable hands here, which was very reassuring. Thank you, Alphabet House.

My daughter has just started at Alphabet House in Lowdham, I was really worried about how she would settle in due to being a lockdown baby and not been socialised much. But the staff at Alphabet House were lovely. They put us all at ease and made the transition so easy. My daughter absolutely loves it there and has seemed to settle in beautifully. The staff in the baby room have been so good at meeting her needs and send lovely photos on the app, so I can see how she’s getting on. I would recommend anyone who is looking for childcare to contact Alphabet House. It’s perfect.

We have been extremely happy with the services provided by Alphabet House Day Nursery for our daughter. The staff are lovely and have always treated us all very well. Our daughter looks forward to attending each day and always comes home happy and enthusiastic. They carry out a range of activities and fun games that she would not do otherwise. The food provided is varied and well accepted. Overall very happy with the nursery.

Both my children have attended Alphabet House Day Nursery since they were 8 months old and during this time we have had nothing but praise for the staff and nursery setting. The staff are amazing and are so accommodating to each individual child’s needs, development and personality and also very flexible to meet our needs as parents. Thank you for all you do.

This is a lovely nursery, it’s so cosy and every detail of the setting is thought through to get the best out of the children. All the staff are friendly and make you feel like your child is the only child. I’d recommend this place in a heartbeat and my little girl has absolutely thrived.

My work schedule often changes and the nursery is always very accommodating.

Staff are warm, friendly, welcoming and professional. They arrange a lot of activities for the children. The food menu is very good and our child seems really happy to attend. I would highly recommend this nursery.

The moment I set foot in this nursery, I knew it was perfect for my child. It is secure, very clean and has loads of happy and well-behaved children! The staff is always polite, friendly and helpful. My daughter loves it, and I feel confident and at ease leaving her in the care of the nursery staff.

The staff and nursery are brilliant and I thank them for being so great especially with a nervous mum.

We are really pleased our son goes to Alphabet House Lowdham. The staff are friendly and genuinely interested in the children. At 20-months, my son knows all the staff by name, gets excited to see them and toddles in without looking back. The different activities they put on are great, I especially like "home corner", the small wooden kitchen where the children play and learn about kitchen safety. The variety of food the kids eat is excellent. We are very grateful they remained open to key workers during the Covid-19 pandemic, as key workers, our son continued to attend. All the staff were great in giving clear information, creating a warm, safe and happy place for the kids and were very fair in how they billed parents.

I have two children that have attended Alphabet House Nursery since January 2019. In all areas of the nursery, we have had nothing but good experiences, with both the staff and management. Whilst drop-offs can be challenging with my two, staff have always been quick to update me on how my children are getting on, which is very reassuring. During the COVID pandemic and as a key worker, my children have had to remain in the nursery. I'd like to add that during this time the manager and her team, that have remained at work have all been exceptional. The messages about the guidelines and expectations around protecting the children from COVID have been clear and given me full reassurance. I will and have recommended this nursery without hesitation.

Amazing welcome back for my daughter post COVID-19. All the staff have adapted beautifully, they are happy, positive, encouraging and make everything feel as normal as possible for the little ones. My daughter can’t wait to get there each morning. Don’t be afraid to send your children back, Alphabet House have got it covered.

Alphabet House in Lowdham is an exceptional nursery. Both of my children attend, one child is in the baby room and the other is in the preschool room. The nursery staff are exceptionally kind and caring. The management team are excellent and engage the parents at every possibility. The staff genuinely care about the wellbeing and development of the children. My children are so happy in the nursery and love going each day. It would be nice if the nursery had a bit more outside space but the nursery do an excellent job if taking the children out into the village and they have some gardening space outside of the main play area.
