Kindred Lowdham Nursery and Pre-school

We have been using the nursery now for our second child , after such a brilliant experience with our first. It's been amazing to also see that even though there was a few years between using Kindred with our children, that the same staff are there which shows how great the place is! Our son loves to go in, and he does a wide variety of activities every time. All the staff are friendly and it makes leaving him so much easier. The updates on the app throughout the day really helps to reassure you that they're safe and well looked after!

We have been really happy with Kindred Lowdham and my son loves going to nursery there. We have been particularly impressed with the food provided and with input provided to help develop new skills. We also find the app very helpful.

We have been really pleased with our experience of Kindred Lowdham. Our baby settled really well, the staff are so caring. The food is good. There are plenty of developmentally appropriate activities for the children. Communication is really good on the app. The manager is very approachable and responsive. We would recommend Kindred Lowdham.

A brilliant nursery. Felt so comfortable leaving my daughter and always updated me with the app. If it wasn't for moving house my daughter would definitely still be going to Kindred Lowdham Nursery.

My daughter started at Kindred at the beginning of February and as the same as most babies got upset for the first week or two but the staff in Curiosity Crescent went above and beyond to make her feel welcome. Not with just day-to-day activities but with love and care. She is now happy going into the nursery and has even started putting her arms out to staff at the front door with a big smile. I am also very impressed with the variety of food offered to the children. Thank you for welcoming us into Kindred so kindly and professionally.

After making the decision to remove our twin boys from their previous early years setting, it’s been a breath of fresh air since they began at Kindred Lowdham and a totally stress-free experience. We can’t fault the quality of care given by all the staff members and our boys are extremely happy to attend nursery. The environment itself is just lovely. Thorough handovers are given at the end of each day and do not feel rushed which is really refreshing. We’re so happy that they are coming home well fed too, the menu is fantastic. We can’t fault our experience so far.

I moved from another county to Alphabet House and was very apprehensive because of all the changes my daughter was experiencing due to divorce. Alphabet House/Kindred Lowdham Nursery & Pre-school staff were incredibly supportive and can honestly say it feels like a little family. They are very attentive to all of my daughter's needs and development milestones. My daughter is thriving in this very loving and supportive environment. Compared to the last nursery, you can tell the staff love to be there, love the children and have excellent relationships with them rather than it just being a job. The staff really care and go out of their way to support me and my daughter. The manager is fantastic and clearly promotes a happy environment, full of fun, curiosity and wonder.

I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend Kindred to other parents; the staff in the baby room are so kind, warm and it feels like they really actually enjoy looking after our child. Given that the baby room is often people’s first experience of a childcare setting, the staff in there are a credit to the nursery. Our child had some specific medical needs to be taken in to account and the staff took this so seriously, they really reassured us that our child would be well cared for.

Excellent care, including great activities such as tennis in pre-school. Brilliant meals too! The staff are pragmatic and build great relationships with the children. They always take the time to update about the day/week.

Good food menu and meals with variety.

The team at Kindred Lowdham Nursery & Pre-school are amazing at what they do, my little girl absolutely loves her time there. Each week there are so many different activities and my daughter brings home wonderful things she has created during the week. The food choices are wonderful, it’s brilliant how many different foods she tries there. The managers and the wider team are super friendly and genuinely care about making sure our little girl has a fun-filled day every time she goes. Highly recommend!

The manager is so lovely too and goes above and beyond every day in everything she does, I cannot praise her more highly! Cannot fault the nursery at all and the smile on my little girl's face every day shows me I made the right decision in choosing the nursery for her.

This is a great nursery, my daughter loves going in, never any sad faces. She loves all the staff. I’m always getting updated on what she’s doing. The new app is great also. Thank you very much for everything.

Kindred Lowdham Nursery & Pre-school provides excellent care. All the staff are so friendly and welcoming. They put effort into all the activities that they run and genuinely care about the children. I feel that they set strong boundaries and have high expectations of the children, encouraging independence and understanding of structure and routine. I think the nursery is very well managed and organised and communication with parents is fantastic.

After an unsettling time for my little one whose previous nursery was very suddenly closed, I chose Alphabet House. She has settled so quickly and seems to have made some good development progress in the short time she has been there. She is happy to attend, tells me lots of wonderful things that she’s done, and even better the nursery regularly updates progress through an online system. Thank you for making us feel so welcome and making the transition so easy. From day one I knew I had made the right choice.

A really friendly and caring nursery setting. The staff put on some really lovely activities for the children. My child loves going to nursery and has come on leaps and bounds since joining Alphabet House Lowdham.

We cannot rate Alphabet House highly enough! My 11-month-old daughter started at nursery in the new year. We had never left her before so was nervous to see how she would settle. The staff have been amazing from day one with helping her settle and easing our nerves about leaving her. They asked about her routine and what she enjoys doing to try and make her feel as happy and comfortable at nursery as possible. She has been off a few days due to illness but she is always happy to return to nursery to see the staff and see the other children. We also love seeing her weekly online posts to see all the wonderful activities she has been doing during the week.
