As soon as you enter the building, it is clean, the environment has been set up with children at heart. With coat pegs at child height, fruit and refreshments available, staff working to freshly prepare good healthy meals/snacks.
On our first visit, the staff were able to show, tell and demonstrate what they could offer our child in each of the nursery rooms. Thus giving us a clear understanding of how our daughter would progress.
Eight months on, my views haven't changed. The nursery is great, the manager is excellent and the staff are outstanding. We have found a nursery which not only looks after our daughter well but they also lovingly care for her. Thank you to everyone at Wooldale for what you do and your hard work.
We were anxious, no need. It was clear very quickly that her new environment and staff at Wooldale were (are) amazing and our daughter's confidence, learning, language and social skills are developing at a fantastic rate.
Communication from the staff is always timely and clear and we love our daily written reports on our daughter's activities etc.
Wonderful nursery.
Our child has been here for over 2 years and is thriving. The love and care is excellent and the improvements throughout the last 12 months have improved the nursery all round.
As always the staff at Wooldale nursery are so supportive and fantastic fun. There is never a better recommendation than your daughter giving you a backwards wave goodbye every morning without a care in the world! She loves it and we love it.
Always a pleasure picking up my daughter, very professional. It feels amazing that my daughter is in brilliant hands, very reassuring!
My experience with the Wooldale Nursery is good. They have helped my daughter with all her difficulties in a very satisfactory way. The staff are kind and friendly to the kids and take care of every little detail concerning the child.
My daughter has developed leaps and bounds. Thanks to the staff working closely with children. Thanks to particular members of staff for taking good care of my daughter.
I can see you have marked the Management poor and a few others as satisfactory, if you have any other concerns you would like to discuss further please do talk to the new Manager who is now in place at the nursery and she will be more than happy to spend some time with you.
I am very pleased with the level of care my son receives in preschool at Wooldale. The staff are always attentive when I walk in and drop him off. I always receive a good feedback when he is collected and he enjoys his time at nursery.
Excellent, professional, attentive and thorough in all aspects of childcare.
My child has learnt so much since being at Wooldale he loves coming to pre-school. The staff are all very lovely and his key workers are amazing.
My daughter has been at the nursery for 3 years. When she started it was excellent. Through the years with staff changing, I feel the nursery has gone down. Whilst I cannot fault the learning I feel the overall standard has decreased. The nursery no longer has high standards, for example, the children's play water looked dirty. There are individual staff members who are fantastic and really look after my child.
Thank you for taking the time to give your feedback as we do value all feedback. I have fed this information back to the Nursery Manager. If your child is still with the nursery the new manager would really like for you to come in and discuss this. We want to ensure you are 100% happy with your nursery and feel comfortable that you can openly discuss your concerns with her.
We couldn't fault Wooldale Nursery and would have no qualms recommending it to anyone. We were very impressed with the instant and ongoing development of our children. The staff are friendly and professional, seemingly very happy in their jobs. Impressed by the learning activities, which we learnt of via a weekly newsletter and also when collecting the children at the end of the day. I was often quite envious when told by staff what our daughter had eaten throughout the day, healthy and varied. A sports day. A graduation ceremony. We really feel our daughters have received a great start to their education and were very well prepared for school.
- Baby room - Good level of care and attention. Good feedback. Good separate cot room.
- Toddler room - Good independent teachings. Good free flow in and out.
Excellent caring and comforting attitude.
- Structure around teaching.
- Better cleanliness towards toddler. e.g I've picked up my son several times and he hasn't had his nose/face cleaned since lunch time - looks filthy. So poor hygiene for him. Sometimes his bum has been sore too.
Lovely people, well run nursery. Always friendly and know my child well.
As flexible as they can be for a large company.
Happy to recommend them to others.
My daughter started in the toddler room in September 2016 and has an excellent relationship with other children and very excellent care and support from the staff. She is enjoying nursery, she enjoys new activities which are set different every day. The staff work with her individual tasks and I've found she is doing really well with the support and encouragement. My daughter has grown more in confidence, built on important social skills and has learnt at her own pace.
My first child started at Wooldale when he was 10 months old back in January 2008. I was warmly welcomed by the staff & felt very comfortable leaving my child in their care. He remained at Wooldale until he started school in 2011 & the experience he had at nursery clearly showed when he started in reception year & was a confident little boy who was so ready to learn more. My second child started at the nursery when she was 9 months old in 2012 and has been cared for by the same members of staff my son had, which speaks volumes to me. I love the fact that the nursery has their own kitchen and their very capable chef/cook prepares fresh meals daily for all the children. My daughter starts school this year and I am not looking forward to the final goodbye to Wooldale. I couldn't have wished for a better nursery for my children, they have both loved their time there.
Their food is cooked fresh on site each day and the menu is so varied - they often eat better at nursery than at home!!
They cook each week, have a gardening club, and have been on some lovely little outings. I am delighted that they have open access to their garden and spend a good percentage of their day outside in the fresh air.
The curriculum and facilities at the nursery are brilliant. However, as a mum, my first concern is that my daughters are happy and safe while I am at work. At Wooldale they are both.
My little girl has been coming here since she was 8 months old and I have been very impressed wit the care she has received.
I love this nursery. My little boy has been attending Wooldale since he was 8 months old (he's now 3) and the nursery have looked after him so well. The nursery environment is home from home and their outstanding Ofsted result was an amazing achievement. The food provided by the nursery is nutritious and my son always enjoys what he is given. The staff are warm, friendly and professional.
My daughter has attended Wooldale for the past 2 years and she is so happy there. All the staff are so caring and seem to have a lot of time and interest in all the children, as well as their families. My daughter started at 9 months and from day one I was made to feel comfortable when leaving my child at nursery. She has flourished whilst in their care and comes home telling me all about what she has learnt everyday. I could not imagine leaving her anywhere else, or with anyone else.
