Bright Horizons Wooldale Early Care & Education Centre in Northampton is based on the Caroline Chisholm School site in Wootton Northampton.

The Bright Horizons portfolio has received a Gold Award from the Royal Society for the Prevention of Accidents (ROSPA) in April 2018.

The Nursery is proud to have been awarded 'Outstanding' by Ofsted in February 2015.

Wooldale offers high-quality nursery care for babies aged 3 months up to children aged 5 in the Preschool.

The nursery then offers a before and after school club for Caroline Chisholm, as well as a holiday club that is open to all during half terms throughout the year that takes children from ages 4-12.

My daughter didn't start nursery until she was two years old. She was extremely nervous, to begin with, but soon came to love everyone looking after her. This nursery has been the best thing for her. She is now so ready to start school, and that is all down to Bright Horizons and the wonderful people
who work there. They even managed to get her to eat vegetables! Thank you will never be enough for these amazing people. Thank you!

My daughter loves coming to nursery at Bright Horizons! She has so many friends, a special relationship with her key worker and likes being able to help plan what topics they will look into next!

My son has attended the nursery for over a year. The staff are second to none. They are attentive, fun and focused on delivering learning through play and creative activities. My son has made some lovely friends and has developed a strong bond with his key workers. Couldn't recommend more to other parents.

My son has thoroughly enjoyed his time and experiences at Wooldale. He's learnt so much since joining at about 2 years old. His speech and use of words is great. He's good at learning to write and recognise his name. You can tell the staff enjoy their job and put lots of effort in with the children.
My son loves his keyworkers and they've taught him lots of different things and how to be good around other children. They learn a lot and have lots of great experiences. Any queries we've ever had as parents have always been dealt with promptly and the staff are very helpful!

From the offset, my experience of putting my 5 and a half-month-old baby boy into this nursery has been fantastic.
Undoubtedly, I was nervous about leaving my little boy for the first time but the staff at Bright Horizons (Wooldale Road) were amazing. Upon my first ‘settling in’ session. I met the
manager and those who would be looking after my little boy- they were all equally as excited to be welcoming him into the baby room. I could tell from meeting the girls in the baby room that they loved their jobs and this eased my mind so so much.
After a few settling in sessions, it was time for me to leave him on his own for a full day… I think I was more nervous than he was!!! I cried, and the ladies reassured me that they would be in touch via the new app. This has been THE most reassuring element. To be at work, and receive a little photo of my boy sleeping or playing in the garden really does make all the difference. The app also logs food, sleep and changes. It’s amazing.

Since moving into preschool my son has developed so many skills and one member of staff has supported him to write his name. She has built my sons confidence and he loves to attend the nursery. The opportunities provided are amazing, my son is nurturing a runner bean plant and wants to grow other plants,
his number skills have really grown and each day he gets more ready for school.

Lovely nursery with amazing staff providing different activities for children to grow all the time. Our son loves to go to nursery and explore something new every day. The staff are amazing, they provide the best quality ever, supporting children and parents all the time. Our son started here in September
last year and we could say that it was the best choice for him. From the day he started his settling, until now, everyone helped and supported him. He's really confident and happy to play with his friends during the day and learn new things.

My son went to Wooldale and absolutely loved it and learnt so much and had so much fun and loved the staff. I now have my daughter here, who started recently and she has settled in incredibly well. She just walks right in and not once has complained and whenever we say she is going, she always gets
excited and goes to get her little bag. The staff are absolutely amazing and I would highly recommend Wooldale.

Fantastic nursery, really happy I choose Wooldale Nursery. My son has flourished since attending last year and whenever I pick him up at the end of the day he is always happy. Staff have been amazing and brilliant at bringing normality to life in the midst of the pandemic. I feel they really do put

Our son has been going to Wooldale Nursery for the last 2 years. He started in the baby room and has now progressed to the toddler room. There was a smooth transition which was great for our son and reassuring for us. All the staff are friendly and welcoming. The staff are also very understanding of
personal circumstances and do their best to support individuals. The food is of a high standard and varied and good table manners are encouraged. Our son gets involved with various activities and thoroughly enjoys his sessions.

I am very happy having my child at Bright Horizons Wooldale Early Care & Education Centre. It’s the second time I’ve used it. My child is very happy there and always seems to be pleased to go in and chats about it once they are home.
I feel secure and happy with the staff looking after my child and
have always found the staff very friendly and helpful. My child eats well while there and also plays and encounters a variety of different things. Going on walks, messy play, music or time in the garden often seem to be big hits!

The manager and the team at Wooldale do a fantastic job of making my son feel settled and secure at nursery.
A testament to this is how my son will arrive at nursery in the morning and run in through the doors, happy to start his day.
I am impressed with the activities provided to entertain and also
educate.

Both my son's come to the nursery, and they are always excited to come. My son who is in the preschool room amazes me with the information he learns when at nursery. My other son is in teh baby room, he has taken a while to settle but the girls have been amazing!

I have nothing but good things to say about Wooldale. My daughter who is now two has been attending since she was 6 months old and has always loved it. Both her key workers across two rooms have been great and I've never had any problems with any element of the nursery. She comes home on a weekly basis
having learnt something new. I would 100% recommend to anyone - all the staff are fab.

My daughter has been at the nursery since she was 9 months old and she absolutely loves going there. The activities that she is having the opportunity to join in with are second to none and they are really helping get her ready for the big move to school in September! The team are so loving and caring
and it's clear to see that every child matters to them. From the amazing staff team and activities to the lovely fresh and healthy meals, I will be sad when my journey with them comes to an end this year!

As a working mum, there is nothing more you could ask for other than your child being looked after by others with a similar level of love and compassion whilst you have to work. For this reason alone, I cannot recommend Bright Horizons Wooldale Day Nursery enough. There is a real family feel and the
staff have always been so warm, kind and attentive to my daughter's needs - she absolutely loves going in.
The management are super helpful and always encourage a two-way conversation as the door to the office is always open to parents. My daughter has come on leaps and bounds and I'm glad I went with my gut instinct and chose Woodsdale out of the many nurseries I looked at. I would highly recommend!

I love Wooldale.
My son has been going there since he was in the baby room and he's now in preschool. Everyone who works there loves being there and always puts the children first. The manager is always thinking of new ways to keep the children engaged and stimulated. My son loves going there and learns

Ginny has over 30 years of experience in childcare, including working at various nurseries and Out of School clubs within Bright Horizons.


She holds a level 3 qualification and enjoys attending training and using that knowledge to further support the children's learning and development.


Ginny lives in Higham Ferrers with her husband and daughter, her son is a primary school teacher in Sheffield. She enjoys running and spending time being active with her family.


She is a member of a local running club, and has completed Marathons in the past, but does not currently have a plan to complete another one.
