I will definitely recommend this nursery to anyone with pleasure. I was and I am very happy and pleased. An amazing team.
Thank you to all the teachers for helping my children to grow.
The staff at the nursery are exceptional. Our daughter has attended since she was ten months old and this year has moved into her final year. The activities she has accessed this year have been brilliant; for example, my daughter goes swimming, to the park for tea on occasions and has been to a local nursing home to visit residents. The staff are great at keeping us updated via the app. They are extremely caring with our daughter and make learning fun in creative ways. Our daughter had some difficulties with food and they have been so accommodating and supportive. The manager always has time for parents too and seems to know the children so well. I cannot thank the nursery enough for how secure and happy they continue to make our daughter feel when she attends.
The team at The Parade have been great helping to settle my daughter into nursery and providing regular updates on her progress and activities. The digital, daily diary is brilliant to see what fun they have had. The meals all sound delicious and my daughter clearly enjoys them, always finishing every meal and snack!
My daughter has been attending The Parade since she was 11 months old and is now 4. She absolutely loves it there and the staff really look after the children well and she has thrived there. My daughter is excelling in every area and has become a really confident, outgoing and intelligent individual.
Our daughter settled into The Parade quickly and really enjoys her time there. The staff and manager are fantastic - extremely supportive and approachable. We receive updates via an app throughout the day which is reassuring. The activities offered are brilliant, our daughter has started swimming recently and there are always trips to the park, library and other settings offering variety. We couldn't be happier with our choice, our daughter has learnt so much and we feel she is being given a great platform to start school confidently.
My daughter has been going 2 days per week since I returned to work in March. The staff at The Parade are caring, trustworthy and welcoming, which reassures me that my daughter is safe and well looked after. She settled quickly forming a strong bond with her key worker and now has a great relationship with all the staff. She is offered a range of activities to promote her development. We are given daily updates on her progress. I would recommend the nursery.
My son started at The Parade a few months ago and has settled in beautifully thanks to the amazing staff. They have also been accommodating with my request for an increase in his hours. Can’t fault the nursery, staff and manager. Also, love the system they use to send regular updates and photos with what he is getting up to!
Everyone at The Parade is friendly and no matter how mollycoddling a parent you may be, you will be comfortable leaving your child at The Parade. You receive meaningful daily photos and written updates as to your child's early years learning progression via an online system- it's fantastic. Staff turnover seems to be extremely low, with some being there for decades, which is a testament to being a great environment. Parents evenings give you insight into your child's overall performance and learning goals so you can help them reach their goals at home.
The facilities at The Parade are great, it's a large 4 story Victorian terraced house with childproofed everything. Being opposite Abington park means the children get ample exposure to the outdoors. The parking is awful but the staff make the place the best.
My son has only been there for a year but he has developed so much during his time at The Parade, my only regret is that he didn’t start there sooner. The staff in the Playful Mice room are second to none, as is the manager. The children have such fantastic opportunities, they always go to the park, have weekly swimming, regular visits to a residential home and often go to the local library, they also have Forest school in the summer. They’ve done cooking and lots of art projects as well as playing in the garden including messy play, they have French lessons and rhyme time and even supervised teeth brushing. I honestly cannot rate them highly enough and would recommend them to anyone. A particular highlight for me was the nativity play, and I’m very sorry to have missed sports due to being on holiday. My son has made some really lovely friends at nursery, many of whom we see for playdates and some who will accompany him to the same school.
My daughter has been at The Parade Day Nursery since December 2017 and I cannot speak highly enough of the staff and environment. Our daughter loves going and will remain there until she starts school now.
He runs in everyday happy and excited to be there.
The environment is clean, with a wide variety of activities.
The limited outdoor space is maximised as well as it can be. This is supplemented by regular trips to the park and library.
I feel my son is well looked after and loved by the staff. They know him very well and are happy to work with parents to keep routines and resolve any issues as you would at home.
Parents are communicated with on all levels. They have appropiate age rooms with toys to encourage key areas for development and outdoor space for all age groups. They visit local parks, library and care homes. My son has developed well and is now prepared for starting school. I have never had concerns leaving him and on days when he has been upset or unsettled the staff are happy for me to phone to check up. They provide healthy balanced meals and variety over the week.
Excellent nursery, fantastic team of staff, I would highly reccomend.
Our child has had the most amazing experience at The Parade. We have seen him grow into a more sociable and more confident child over the time he has been there. That is largely down to the fantastic team who provide individualised support for every child and keep parents updated more regularly than other local nurseries do via the online app. Due to this, I am able to effectively support at home too. There is a wide range of activities on offer including enrichment off-site. I highly recommend The Parade.
My little girl has been attending this nursery from 10 months old. She has come on in leaps and bounds since being here. The staff here are amazing with my daughter and feel like I can talk to them about any concerns and take into consideration what I would like her to focus on in progression. She has never had any issues there and always comes home so happy. I would recommend this nursery to anyone!
The staff are excellent. Always friendly, smiling and engaging.
My daughter is constantly being taught new, interesting things at The Parade. My daughter was a very picky eater but with their input, she has started exploring new food and now has a much more varied diet.
She really enjoys her time there and has made good friends.
The nursery is clean and tidy and has a great array of toys, educational equipment.
I have absolute confidence and trust in all the staff.
I am so pleased I chose The Parade Day Nursery for my daughter.
My son started at the nursery at 11 months old. The staff are brilliant and have built excellent relationships with my son. They provide a variety of activities and it’s great to get updates and pictures of these. They give them a selection of different, healthy meals and snacks. It is a clean, friendly environment and I have no worries what so ever when my son is there! Would definitely recommend this nursery!
My partner and I recently attended our first parents evening and was more than happy with the first three reviews of how our little girl is coming on. The Manager and her staff seem to be very attentive and its great to see photos of her painting and playing. The notes were very informative and very spot on to how she is at home. They were open to suggestion and we look forward to our little one's growth with the staff at the parade. Thanks to all for doing a very hard job which they obviously enjoy.
She is well looked after and supported by the manager and the team ... learnings and having fun everyday. They also provide great extra activities such as French, Rhymetime and Swimming. She has learnt a lot during her time and she has already told us she will miss Pre-School when she goes to School in September (something she is already well prepared for).
I'm very happy with The Parade and so is my daughter. The care and commitment to her development are evident in how much she loves the carers and in how much she has come along since joining.
My son has been attending The Parade Day Nursery since May 2017 at 22months old. The staff were very supportive of my concerns initially as a new mother and have since focussed on building a personal relationship with my son. They are attentive and responsive to our needs and his development. All team members are motivated and enthusiastic, I am assured that he is well looked after. The nursery is always clean and tidy whenever I visit and the onsite chef ensures freshly cooked food. The children always seem to be engaged, and the park across the road is a bonus!
