Parade Day Nursery provides nursery care and education for children from three months to school age. Priding itself on excellent partnerships with parents and carers, the nursery offers a secure and stimulating environment to nurture children’s development and growth.

The nursery has four age-appropriate rooms for children aged three to eighteen months, eighteen months to two years, two to three years, and three to five years. Each room offers resources and activities specially designed according to the ages of the children.

Preschool children, aged three to five years, participate in activities designed in line with the Early Years Foundation Stage, with priority given to language, numeracy, creativity and social development.

The nursery holds regular meetings with external advisers and other nursery settings to monitor progress and ensure staff are up-to-date with relevant ideas, issues and policies.

Parade Day Nursery offers a high staff to children ratio and a number of state of the art security features, such as 24-hour CCTV and a multi-door entrance system. Doors also have finger shields and anti-slam fittings and floor and work surface are safe and hygienic, so parents know that their children are cared for in a safe environment.

Both of my children have attended this nursery and have thrived. The staff are wonderful. The children are always busy, doing new things and they update the app regularly so I can see what is going on throughout the day.
Never had any issues with the nursery and would recommend to everyone.

The staff at the nursery are exceptional. Our daughter has attended since she was ten months old and this year has moved into her final year. The activities she has accessed this year have been brilliant; for example, my daughter goes swimming, to the park for tea on occasions and has been to a local
nursing home to visit residents. The staff are great at keeping us updated via the app. They are extremely caring with our daughter and make learning fun in creative ways. Our daughter had some difficulties with food and they have been so accommodating and supportive. The manager always has time for parents too and seems to know the children so well. I cannot thank the nursery enough for how secure and happy they continue to make our daughter feel when she attends.

The team at The Parade have been great helping to settle my daughter into nursery and providing regular updates on her progress and activities. The digital, daily diary is brilliant to see what fun they have had. The meals all sound delicious and my daughter clearly enjoys them, always finishing every

Our daughter settled into The Parade quickly and really enjoys her time there. The staff and manager are fantastic - extremely supportive and approachable. We receive updates via an app throughout the day which is reassuring. The activities offered are brilliant, our daughter has started swimming recently
and there are always trips to the park, library and other settings offering variety. We couldn't be happier with our choice, our daughter has learnt so much and we feel she is being given a great platform to start school confidently.

My daughter has been going 2 days per week since I returned to work in March. The staff at The Parade are caring, trustworthy and welcoming, which reassures me that my daughter is safe and well looked after. She settled quickly forming a strong bond with her key worker and now has a great relationship
with all the staff. She is offered a range of activities to promote her development. We are given daily updates on her progress. I would recommend the nursery.

The excellent staff at The Parade Day Nursery have helped raise our 2 daughters from babies through to primary school age.
Everyone at The Parade is friendly and no matter how mollycoddling a parent you may be, you will be comfortable leaving your child at The Parade. You receive meaningful daily photos
and written updates as to your child's early years learning progression via an online system- it's fantastic. Staff turnover seems to be extremely low, with some being there for decades, which is a testament to being a great environment. Parents evenings give you insight into your child's overall performance and learning goals so you can help them reach their goals at home.
The facilities at The Parade are great, it's a large 4 story Victorian terraced house with childproofed everything. Being opposite Abington park means the children get ample exposure to the outdoors. The parking is awful but the staff make the place the best.

My son has only been there for a year but he has developed so much during his time at The Parade, my only regret is that he didn’t start there sooner. The staff in the Playful Mice room are second to none, as is the manager. The children have such fantastic opportunities, they always go to the park,
have weekly swimming, regular visits to a residential home and often go to the local library, they also have Forest school in the summer. They’ve done cooking and lots of art projects as well as playing in the garden including messy play, they have French lessons and rhyme time and even supervised teeth brushing. I honestly cannot rate them highly enough and would recommend them to anyone. A particular highlight for me was the nativity play, and I’m very sorry to have missed sports due to being on holiday. My son has made some really lovely friends at nursery, many of whom we see for playdates and some who will accompany him to the same school.

A lovely, welcoming and supportive nursery. The staff are wonderful and feedback daily about my sons progress, activities and behaviour.
He runs in everyday happy and excited to be there.
The environment is clean, with a wide variety of activities.
The limited outdoor space is maximised as well
as it can be. This is supplemented by regular trips to the park and library.
I feel my son is well looked after and loved by the staff. They know him very well and are happy to work with parents to keep routines and resolve any issues as you would at home.

My son has been attending the parade day nursery for four years. Whilst visiting the nursery we got a really good feel, four years on I am glad we decided this was the nursery for us. The staff are friendly and helpful; nothing is too much. They work around the needs of your child throughout their time
at nursery.
Parents are communicated with on all levels. They have appropiate age rooms with toys to encourage key areas for development and outdoor space for all age groups. They visit local parks, library and care homes. My son has developed well and is now prepared for starting school. I have never had concerns leaving him and on days when he has been upset or unsettled the staff are happy for me to phone to check up. They provide healthy balanced meals and variety over the week.
Excellent nursery, fantastic team of staff, I would highly reccomend.

My son started at the nursery at 11 months old. The staff are brilliant and have built excellent relationships with my son. They provide a variety of activities and it’s great to get updates and pictures of these. They give them a selection of different, healthy meals and snacks. It is a clean, friendly

Fantastic nursery! I highly recommend The Parade Day Nursery.
The staff are excellent. Always friendly, smiling and engaging.
My daughter is constantly being taught new, interesting things at The Parade. My daughter was a very picky eater but with their input, she has started exploring new food
and now has a much more varied diet.
She really enjoys her time there and has made good friends.
The nursery is clean and tidy and has a great array of toys, educational equipment.
I have absolute confidence and trust in all the staff.
I am so pleased I chose The Parade Day Nursery for my daughter.

Our child has had the most amazing experience at The Parade. We have seen him grow into a more sociable and more confident child over the time he has been there. That is largely down to the fantastic team who provide individualised support for every child and keep parents updated more regularly than
other local nurseries do via the online app. Due to this, I am able to effectively support at home too. There is a wide range of activities on offer including enrichment off-site. I highly recommend The Parade.

My partner and I recently attended our first parents evening and was more than happy with the first three reviews of how our little girl is coming on. The Manager and her staff seem to be very attentive and its great to see photos of her painting and playing. The notes were very informative and very
spot on to how she is at home. They were open to suggestion and we look forward to our little one's growth with the staff at the parade. Thanks to all for doing a very hard job which they obviously enjoy.

The Parade Nursery is, in my opinion, the best nursery in Northampton. We have seen a lot of nurseries before placing my son into one and this one simply felt right. The staff are attentive and love spending time with my son, they take time to talk to my wife about how my son has been in the day and
they are genuine in there desire to make my son's time there a fun time.


We love the progress books that are made which give a thorough overview of our son's development. He has come on massively since being in the parade. I have no doubt that part of his massive improvement in development is down to the time spent at The Parade.


I have had no issues with this nursery at all and would not hesitate to recommend The Parade.

My son has been attending The Parade Day Nursery since May 2017 at 22months old. The staff were very supportive of my concerns initially as a new mother and have since focussed on building a personal relationship with my son. They are attentive and responsive to our needs and his development. All
team members are motivated and enthusiastic, I am assured that he is well looked after. The nursery is always clean and tidy whenever I visit and the onsite chef ensures freshly cooked food. The children always seem to be engaged, and the park across the road is a bonus!

Jade has a Level 3 early years childcare qualification and has 17 years’ experience in childcare covering all age groups and in a variety of different childcare environments. Jade is complimented by a strong, dedicated team, which helps to create a warm and homely environment where children really do flourish. The majority of the staff have or are working towards their level 3 childcare qualification.
