Parade Day Nursery provides nursery care and education for children from three months to school age. Priding itself on excellent partnerships with parents and carers, the nursery offers a secure and stimulating environment to nurture children’s development and growth.

The nursery has four age-appropriate rooms for children aged three to eighteen months, eighteen months to two years, two to three years, and three to five years. Each room offers resources and activities specially designed according to the ages of the children.

Preschool children, aged three to five years, participate in activities designed in line with the Early Years Foundation Stage, with priority given to language, numeracy, creativity and social development.

The nursery holds regular meetings with external advisers and other nursery settings to monitor progress and ensure staff are up-to-date with relevant ideas, issues and policies.

Parade Day Nursery offers a high staff to children ratio and a number of state of the art security features, such as 24-hour CCTV and a multi-door entrance system. Doors also have finger shields and anti-slam fittings and floor and work surface are safe and hygienic, so parents know that their children are cared for in a safe environment.

The Parade Day Nursery is one of the best nurseries in the area. They have friendly teachers, who show dedication and interest in the growth of the children.
They give timely information to the parents.
My daughter is always looking forward to going to school every time because of the different and
interesting activities they do in school.
The headteacher is always ready to help whenever the need arises.

My little one has been at the nursery for around 16 months now and when looking I didn't know where to start. Everyone here I have ever met has been welcoming, and friendly and I can see that they have the wellbeing of my little one at the front of their mind.
The observations are thorough and at
the end of the day for pickup, I get to speak with staff about how the day has gone as well as details on the app. I am happy we picked this nursery, their foundations are reflective of what we try to do at home with lots of educational fun and outside time.

We highly recommend Day Parade Nursery. They are friendly and approachable to kids and parents are kept informed each day of progress and parents evenings. Our little boy attended the nursery, we recently had to move out of the area otherwise our son would have continued his time at The Parade Day Nursery until he left for reception class. He loved every moment here we as a family would 1000% recommend - well-done guys!

This is a brilliant nursery. All the staff are lovely.
My daughter loves going and is bright and bubbly when dropping off and picking up - a great sign she enjoys herself when she’s there!

Best Nursey I can ask for. My son was looked after by the best team. Excellent, professional and caring staff.

Absolutely incredible staff, worth their weight in god. Played a huge part in my daughter's development and we are very sad she no longer attends as she starts school next week, but I am really grateful to the staff. She misses them terribly.

Fantastic! My whole family has used the nursery since 2006 and we all loved it. Happy, friendly and experienced staff who care about your kids. They listen to concerns and work with you to overcome anything. No matter what, we will always use them.

My daughter has been at the Parade Day Nursery for three years, and I don't have a negative word to say, it is a fantastic early years setting. The staff are welcoming, caring and professional. The volume and variety of activities, arts and crafts, and play that they do each day is impressive. There's
never a dull day. I'd happily recommend this nursery setting in a heartbeat, and I'm so pleased I choose it for my little girl.

My daughter has been at the Parade since she was 11 months old and has enjoyed every day. The nursery staff are very caring, honest and welcoming. My daughter loves the staff as her second family and talks about them and the other children all the time. As well as being a nurturing environment they
have helped to shape my daughter's personality and she is very sociable, chatty and likes to try new things. The staff keep you regularly updated about day-to-day activities and always greet my daughter with a smile. She strolls into nursery every day without a worry in the world and has built solid friendships and trust with the other children and staff.

My Daughter has been at the Parade since she was 6 months and will soon be getting ready to move on to school and I'd just love her to stay at the nursery for the caring and nurturing environment it has been. I have nothing but praise for the nursery, the staff are all warm, welcoming, caring and friendly.
They all know my daughter and have helped shape the little person she is. My daughter talks about the staff in her room, she enjoys spending time with two members of staff, in particular. Each room she has been in she has had a well bonded member of staff she can go too, when she first started. They are all responsive and any questions you ask on drop off or collection are answered. I would highly recommend the manager and the team at the Parade.

I moved my son to the parade when he was 18 months old and I have been extremely happy with the care he has been given. He is now about to leave for school and they have made sure he is 100% ready to do so. His confidence has come on so much that my little shy boy isn’t refusing to do things and will
go off on his own without my support. All the staff have been fantastic and each of his key workers have been amazing. He loves the food provided and the activities he does. COVID restrictions have made some events difficult but they have gone that extra mile to make sure the children can do the activities within the setting. Feedback and daily entry’s to the parents' app have been consistent so I know how he’s getting on and the activities he has been part of have been recorded for me to view. I will be really sad that I will no longer be visiting the nursery. But if I have another there I will absolutely be sending them to the parade. It is a wonderful nursery!

Jade has a Level 3 early years childcare qualification and has 17 years’ experience in childcare covering all age groups and in a variety of different childcare environments. Jade is complimented by a strong, dedicated team, which helps to create a warm and homely environment where children really do flourish.
